Artist Flavia Julius was born in Sao Paulo, Brazil, and moved to Sydney 12 years ago. She’s been painting for more than twenty years, and used to paint Impressionist style until she fell in love with Aboriginal art: the colours, the dots, the feelings.
Flavia’s current style is a fusion of dot painting with a Brazilian twist. Her inspirations include places she loves, nature, music, culture, design, people and diversity.
Through art, Flavia feels she connects her two beloved countries: Brazil and Australia, as if there were no distance separating them.
“Opera House” was born of a love for Sydney and its most iconic building. Painted on top quality canvas with oil painting, Opera House is a highly energetic piece, full of texture, ready to bring fantastic vibe to its new home.
