Who can Enter
4. Entry is open to all residents in Australia aged 18 years and older at the time of entry, except
residents of Western Australia, employees and immediate families of the Promoter and their
associated companies and agencies.
5. The Promoter reserves the right to request winners to provide proof of identity or proof of
residency. In the event that a winner cannot provide suitable proof, the winner will forfeit
the prize in whole and no substitute will be offered.
When to enter
6. The competition commences on Sunday 12 March 2017 at 06:00 AEDT and concludes on
Wednesday 26 April 2017 at 11:00 AEST.
7. This Campaign is comprised of entry periods and entries must be received by the Promoter
prior to the entry period close date and time as outlined in Clause 27 below.
8. The time of entry will in each case be the time the SMS message, smartphone and/or 1902
telephone call are received by the Ansible Pty Ltd database.
9. If your local News Limited newspaper is published 6 days a week only, the Saturday
codeword may be used again on the Sunday (the non-publishing day). The following table
outlines newspaper titles and when their codeword may be used:

10. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any late, lost or misdirected entries including
SMS messages not received by the Promoter or delays in the delivery of the SMS message

12. For entrants in all states, the entry cost for 1902 entry will be fixed $0.55 (including GST).
Higher rates apply for calls to the 1902 prefix phone numbers from mobile phones. Single
SMS entries will be charged at the premium rate of $0.55 (including GST). Entries via
smartphones will be charged according to your selection (ie $0.55, $1.05, $2.50, $4.50 or
$9.95 (including GST)) and may include download charges in accordance with your mobile

13. Entrants may enter the competition as many times as they like. The time of entry will in each
case be the time the SMS message, smartphone and/or 1902 telephone call are received by
the Ansible Pty Ltd database.
14. The Winner will be drawn from the national pool of entries.
15. Entrants can only win one prize per competition period, unless they reside in South Australia,
in which case they are entitled to win more than once.
16. For clarification, entrants must use the advertised codeword related to that entry period to
be a valid entry. Refer to the table in Clause 10 for further details. Codewords are available
for use up until 11:00 AEST/AEDT the following day.
17. SMS entries via the internet or computer generation are invalid and will not be accepted.
18. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry
process, who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms & Conditions of
Entry or who has, in the opinion of Promoter, engaged in conduct in entering the Promotion
which is fraudulent, misleading, deceptive or generally damaging to the goodwill or
reputation of the Promotion and/or Promoter.

Prizes
19. In each draw one (1) entrant will have the opportunity to win a minimum of $5,000. Any
monies that are not won during any entry period will jackpot to the next entry period. The
minimum prize value per entry period is $5,000 and the maximum prize value for the final
entry period will be $225,000.00 (for the removal of doubt the maximum prize value would
only be awarded if no valid winners were determined during entry periods 1 through 45).
20. Cash prizes will be awarded in the form of a cheque made in favour of the winner. Prizes are
not transferable or exchangeable. Any prizes won by a contestant will be sent to their last
known address within 28 days of broadcast of the episode of the program.
21. Total prize pool value is $225,000.00 (including GST).
22. Independent financial advice should be sought as tax implications may arise as a result of
accepting the prize.
23. All prizes must be taken as offered. Prizes, or any unused portion of a prize, are not
transferable or exchangeable. Prizes are valued in Australian dollars.

Determination and Notification of winner
25. Each draw period a winner will be drawn at random from the national pool of valid entries
received via 1902, SMS or smartphone during the draw period, as outlined in the table at
Clause 26.
