1. Information on how to enter forms part of the terms of entry. Entry into the competition is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions.
2. Entry is open to all residents of Australia who are 18 years or older however, employees and their immediate families of Woolworths Limited and Salmat Digital Pty Ltd, and their associated agencies and companies are not eligible to enter.
3. Participants must be over the age of 18 to enter.
4. The Promotion commences on Wednesday 08/03/2017 at 00:01 (AEDT) and
concludes on Tuesday 04/04/2017 at 23:59 (AEST) (“Promotional Period”).
5. Definitions within this Promotion:
a. Participating Store
means a BWS store located in, Western Australia, South Australia, the Australian Capital Territory, Victoria, New South Wales, Tasmania, Queensland or the Northern Territory.
b. Promoter
The Promoter and permit holder is Woolworths Ltd (ABN 88 000 014 675), 1 Woolworths Way, Bella Vista, 2153, NSW. The promoter can be contacted via phone at 1300 767 969
c. Promotion
means the Woolworths Limited – BWS Sports Promotion
d. Promotional Period
Means Wednesday 08/03/2017 at 00:01 (AEDT) and concludes on Tuesday 04/04/2017 at 23:59 (AEST).
e. Eligible Purchase
means the purchase of all products from the participating offer from participating stores
f. Participating Offer
means the offer set out in Appendix 1 of these Terms and Conditions.
ENTRY CONDITIONS
6. To enter, participants must during the Promotion Period:
a) Purchase all products forming the participating offer from a participating Store during the promotional period; and
b) Log on to
www.bws.com.au/sport; and
c) Complete all of the required data entry fields in the application including
promotional code number from the store receipt as proof of purchase.
7. Participants must retain a copy of their original purchase receipt(s) for all entries as proof of purchase. The Promoter reserves the right to request a proof of purchase for each entry to verify all entries before awarding the prize. Failure to provide proof of all purchases, in the absolute discretion of the Promoter, will result in the invalidation of all of an entrant’s entries and forfeiture of any right to a prize and a re-draw will occur at the discretion of the Promoter or any chosen date.
8. Incomprehensible and incomplete entries will be deemed invalid.
9. Subject to clause 10. Participants may enter as many times as they wish, provided that each entry is based on a separate Eligible Purchase.
10. Only 1 prize package will be awarded per person during the Promotion Period (excluding SA residents).
11. The Promoter reserves the right to request winners to provide proof of identity, proof of residency at the nominated prize delivery address and/or proof of entry validity (including store receipt for purchase requirement) in order to claim a prize. Proof of identification, residency and entry considered suitable for verification is at the discretion of the Promoter. In the event that a winner cannot provide suitable proof, the winner will forfeit the prize in whole and no substitute will be offered.
12. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and to disqualify any entry which, in the opinion of Promoter, includes objectionable content, profanity, potentially insulting, inflammatory or defamatory statements, disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process, who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms & Conditions of Entry or who has, in the opinion of Promoter, engaged in conduct in entering the Promotion which is fraudulent, misleading, deceptive or generally damaging to the goodwill or reputation of the Promotion and/or Promoter. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify a winner if Promoter becomes aware that the winner and/or the winner’s entry is of a type described in this clause.
13. Entries must be received by 23:59 (AEST) on Tuesday 04/04/2017. The time of entry will in each case be the time the online order is received by the Promoter’s database. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any late, lost or misdirected entries due to technical disruptions, network congestion or for any other reason.
14. Any entry that is made on behalf of an Entrant by a third party will be invalid.
15. The cost of accessing the promotional website will be dependent on the entrant’s individual Internet Service Provider.

PRIZES:
16. Prizes and values are as follows:

PRIZE RESTRICTIONS:
17. Prizes cannot be transferred, refunded or exchanged and cannot be redeemed for cash.

20. If the prize is unavailable, for whatever reason, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize for a prize of equal or greater value, subject to State Regulation.
21. It is a condition of accepting the prize that the winner may be required to sign a legal release in a form determined by the promoter in its absolute discretion.
22. Once prizes have left the Promoter’s premises, the Promoter takes no responsibility for prizes damaged, delayed or lost in transit.
23. By accepting the prize, the winner agrees to participate in and co-operate as required with all reasonable media editorial requests relating to the prize, including but not limited to, being interviewed and photographed, filmed and/or chaperoned throughout the duration of the prize.
24. In the event that for any reason whatsoever a winner does not take an element of the prize at the time stipulated by the Promoter then that element of the prize will be forfeited by the winner and cash will not be awarded in lieu of that element of the prize.
25. Prize values are based upon the recommended retail prices at the time of printing (inclusive of GST). The promoter accepts no responsibility for change in prize value between now and the ultimate prize redemption date.
26. Independent financial advice should be sought as tax implications may arise as a result of accepting the prize.
PRIZE DRAWS
27. Each valid entrant who has entered the competition over the duration of the promotional period will be entered into the draw. Twenty eight (28) entries will be drawn at random to become the winners. The draw will take place at Salmat Digital Pty Limited, Level 2, 116 Miller Street, North Sydney NSW 2060, on 10/04/2017 at 11:00am (AEST).
The winners will be notified within 2 days of the draw. The winners will be notified of their prize by phone and in writing. The Promoter will publish the winners’ details on
www.bws.com.au and in The Australian on 18/04/2017
29. Subject to any direction given under relevant State legislation, an unclaimed prize draw will take place at Salmat Digital, Level 2, 116 Miller Street, North Sydney NSW 2060 on 10/07/2017 at 11:00am (AEST). The winners will be notified of their prize by phone and in writing. The Promoter will publish the unclaimed winner on
www.bws.com.au and in The Australian on 17/07/2017.
30. Prizes will be awarded to person named in the entry. However, in a dispute, will be awarded to the account holder of the entry mechanism used to submit their entry.
31. Should an entrant’s contact details change during the promotional period, it is the entrant's responsibility to notify the Promoter. A request to access or modify any information provided in an entry should be directed to Promoter.
32. The promoter’s decision is final and the promoter will not enter into correspondence regarding the promotion result.
33. It is a condition of accepting the prize that the winner must comply with all the conditions of use of the prize and the prize supplier’s requirements.
34. It is a condition of accepting the prize that the winner may be required to sign a legal release in a form determined by the promoter in its absolute discretion.
35. In the case of the intervention of any outside act, agent or event which prevents or significantly hinders the Promoter’s ability to proceed with the competition on the dates and in the manner described in these terms and conditions, including but not limited to vandalism, power failures, tempests, natural disasters, acts of God, civil unrest, strike, war, act of terrorism, the Promoter may in its absolute discretion cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition subject to any directions given under State Regulation.
DISCLAIMER AND RELEASE
36. Certain legislation may imply warranties or conditions or impose other obligations including statutory consumer guarantees which cannot be excluded, restricted or modified except to a limited extent. To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter excludes all guarantees, warranties, conditions or other terms that apply under or are implied by statute, common law or trade custom or usage.
37. If in the conduct of this Promotion the Promoter is liable for a breach of any guarantee, warranty, condition or other term that applies under the Australian Consumer Law or is implied by any other Commonwealth, State or Territory law that cannot be excluded, the Promoter's liability under that legislation is limited, to the extent permitted by law, to the cost of replacement of any benefit or prize won.
38. The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for any personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with any prize/s except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law. The Promoter is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, either caused by the phone user or for any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilised in this promotion, or for any technical error, or any combination thereof that may occur in the course of the administration of this Promotion including any omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line or telephone, mobile or satellite network failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to or alteration of entries.
39. The Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who
the Promoter has reason to believe has breached any of these conditions, or engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise the fair and proper conduct of the promotion. The Promoter’s legal rights to recover damages or other compensation from such an offender are reserved.
40. Woolworths Limited, Salmat Digital Pty Limited and their associated agencies and companies assume no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to, or alteration of entries, and reserves the right to take any action that may be available.
41. If for any reason this Promotion is not capable of running as planned, including due to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any causes beyond the control of the Promoter, which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness or integrity or proper conduct of this promotion, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, take any action that may be available, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition, subject to any direction given under State Regulation.
COLLECTION OF PERSONAL INFORMATION
42. By participating in the Promotion entrants agree that Salmat Digital Pty Ltd, on behalf of the Promoter, may use the entrant’s personal information for the purposes of running the Promotion and awarding Prizes, and in the event the entrant is a winner, the Promoter may publish the winning entrant's name and locality in any media, as required under applicable state and territory legislation.
43. If an entrant opts in to receiving further communications from the Promoter, the Promoter may use the entrants' names, addresses, telephone numbers and e-mail addresses for future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes in any media worldwide without notice and without any fee being paid unless otherwise advised by the entrant. By opting-in, entrants confirm that they allow their details to be used for this purpose.
44. Woolworths Limited is collecting the entrant's personal information for the purpose of conducting and promoting this Promotion (including but not limited to determining and notifying winner). The entrant's personal information may be disclosed to Salmat Digital for this purpose. If you are not willing for this to occur you cannot participate in the Promotion.
45. Participants’ personal information may be disclosed to State and Territory lottery departments and winners’ names published as required under the relevant lottery legislation. For purposes of public statements and advertisements the Promoter will only publish the winner’s surname, initial and state. A request to access, update or correct any information should be directed to the Promoter.
46. The Promoter is bound by the Australian Privacy Principles contained in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). A copy of the Promoter's privacy policy can be viewed at
