In splendid form for its 28th season, the Alliance Française French Film Festival returns to Palace Cinemas throughout March with a host of thrilling, contemporary movies and documentaries exemplifying the very best of France’s vibrant film industry with a programme that celebrates both established and emerging talent.
Screening across 7 cities, this tantalising feast of cinema will showcase 43 new features and, in a salute to Versailles, 2 retrospective movies.
Included amongst this year’s line-up is the moving drama, A Bag of Marbles, based on the acclaimed memoirs of Joseph Joffo, which tells the incredible story of two young Jewish boys who fled Nazi-occupied Paris in 1941 and made their way to the South of France, amidst the dangerous whirlwind of war.
In Sydney, the Festival will screen from 7 to 30 March at four locations.
