Competition terms and conditions
THE COMPETITION

    The Promoter of the Win Cider and Ale for a Year Competition (“the Competition”) is The City of Swan.
    By entering this competition, entrants accept the stated Terms & Conditions of Entry.
    The Competition is open to any person over 18 years of age who resides in Western Australia and who is not an employee or Councillor of the City of Swan or an immediate family member of an employee or Councillor.
    Entry to the Competition is free.
    Use of entrants personal information is governed by the City of Swan’s Privacy Statement available at www.swan.wa.gov.au.
    The competition opens 9am April 4, 2017 Western Standard Time and entries close at 5pm May 1, 2017 Western Standard Time (“Competition Period”).

ENTRY

    To enter, an eligible participant must, during the Competition Period complete all sections of the entry form at the competition page including providing a valid email address in the field provided.

THE PRIZE

    There will be 1 prize winner who will win the Prize.
    The Prize is 9 x $200 vouchers, 1 each for the following venues:
        Fig Tree Estate
        Feral Brewery
        Ironbark Brewery
        Homestead Brewery
        Elmar’s in the Valley
        Funk Cider
        Duckstein Brewery
        Mash Brewery
        Oakover Grounds
    Each Voucher will contain terms of use including restrictions on the times and dates when the voucher can be used, products that are eligible for the voucher to be used for and an expiry date.
    The Prize is not redeemable for cash, cannot be used to purchase gift certificates and is not transferrable.

SELECTING A PRIZE WINNER

    The prize winner will be selected at a public draw held in the reception area of the City of Swan Administration Building, 2 Midland Square, Midland at 12 noon on 2 May 2017.
    The prize winner will be selected by a random number generator (“Prize Winner”).
    The City of Swan will contact the Prize Winner by email no later than 5pm on the day of the draw with details on how to claim the prize (“Prize Email”).
    In order to claim the prize, the Prize Winner must:
        comply with the requirements of the Prize Email, including contacting the City of Swan to claim the Prize, within 36 hours of the Prize Email being sent;
        be a person over 18 years of age who resides in Western Australia and who is not an employee or Councillor of the City of Swan or an immediate family member of an employee or Councillor;
        permit  the City of Swan and its licensees or assignees to promote the Prize Winner on social media, the internet and mass media; and
        attend the City of Swan to collect the prize with proof of age (“Prize Requirements”).
    If the Prize Winner does not comply with the Prize Requirements, the Prize will be redrawn (“Redraw”) at a public draw held in the reception area of the City of Swan Administration Building, 2 Midland Square, Midland at 12 noon on May 9, 2017 Redraw.  The requirements of conditions 13 – 15 apply to the Redraw.
    If the Prize Winner of the Redraw does not comply with the Prize Requirements then there will be further redraws conducted at 12 noon on May 16, 2017, May 23, 2017 and May 30, 2017 (as required) until a Prize Winner is drawn who complies with the Prize Requirements.
    If no Prize Winner who complies with the Prize Requirements is selected in a draw by May 30, 2017 then no Prize will be awarded.
