Promotion commences 10:01am AEDT on 27/03/2017. Final entries close 11:59pm AEST on 31/05/2017. Entry is open to all residents of Australia aged 18 or over. This is a game of skill and chance plays no part in the determination of the winner. To enter you must answer the following question via our website myrepublic.com.au/gigatown in 50 words or less: How would you and your community benefit from being Australia’s first Gigatown? Each entry will be individually judged according to its merits on the basis of creativity as determined by the Promoter in its sole discretion. There are 2 Prize categories: Category A can only be awarded to an eligible resident with an nbn™ connection via Fibre to the Premise (FTTP). Competition entrants not in Category A will be deemed to be in Category B. This is a game of skill and chance plays no
part in the determination of the winner. Each entry will
be individually

sole discretion.
7. If there is a dispute as to the identity of an
entrant,
the entrant will be deemed to be the person in whose
name was provided on the entry for
m.
8. The Promoter’s decision is final and no
correspondence will be entered into.
9. Multiple entries are not permitted.
10. If the promotion is interfered with in any way or is
not capable of being conducted as anticipated due to
any reason beyond the reasonable control of the
Promoter, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole
discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law (a) to
disqualify any entrant; or (b) subject to any written
directions from a regulatory authority, to modify,
suspend, terminate or cancel the promotion as
appropriate.

Due to technical limitations of the nbn™ network,
there will be two prize groups: Category A and
Category B.
13. Category A can only be awarded to an eligible
resident with an nbn™ connection via Fibre to the
Premise (FTTP) technology which is
optimised for
connection to the Promoter’s network via the nbn™
1Gbps speed tier at the Promoter’s discretion.
14. Competition entrants not in Category A will be
deemed to be in Category B.
Terms and Conditions
MyRepublic Gigatown Competition
1. Information on how to enter and prizes
forms part of
the
Terms and Conditions. Participation in this promotion is
deemed
acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
2. Entry is limited to Australian residents aged 18 years
and
over. Employees of the Promoter and their immediate families,
and employees of the Promoter’s suppliers and associated
companies are ineligible to enter this competition.
3. The Promoter, in its absolute discretion reserves the
right to
verify the validity of all entries and entrants
at any time (including
an entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify
any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accor
dance with
these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the entry
process. Errors
and omissions will be accepted at the Promoter’s
discretion. Failure of the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at
any stage does not constitute a waiv
er of those rights.

Final entries close 11:59pm
AEST on 31/05/2017. All valid entries

entries and record them in order in case an invalid entry or

‘Neighbours’ of the winner in Category
A will receive a
complimentary upgrade of their MyRepublic Unlimited
Broadband Plan to the nbn™ 1Gbps speed tier for 12
months.
‘Neighbours’ of the winner in Category A are considered to
be all entrants to this promotion who are:
a)
in the same town, suburb or city as the winner
of Category A;
b)
on an nbn™ FTTP connection on the same
POI of the winner in Category A;
c)
within 10 kilometres (as the crow flies) of the
winner in Category
A; and
d)
placed their order for a MyRepublic service
before the 1st of June 2017.
17. The Promoter’s Standard Form of Agreement
applies to the supply of the Promoter’s services and
service charges will apply. Phone charges are not
included in the winners’ prizes and will be charged to
the winners. ‘Neighbours’ who win the complimentary
upgrade to the nbn™ 1Gbps speed tier must pay the
standard service charges applicable to MyRepublic’s
Unlimited Broadband Plan including phone charges.
18. Prize inclusions and details are correct as at 27
March 2017 but are subject to change, withdrawal or
removal at any time without notice.
19. Except for any liability that cannot be excluded
by law, the Promoter (including its officers, employees
and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence),
for any personal injury; or any loss or damage
(including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect,
special or consequential, arising in any way out of the
Promotion, including but not limited to, where arising
out of the following:
a)
any technical difficulties or equipment
malfunction (whether or not under the
Promoter’s control);
b)
any theft, un-author
ised access or third party
interference;
c)
any entry or prize c
laim that is late, lost, altered,
damaged or due to any reason beyond the
reasonable control of the Promoter;
d)
any variation in pr
ize value to that stated in
these Terms and Conditions;
e)
any tax liability
inc
urred by a winner or entrant;
or
f)
use of the
