Pandora’s Bag is a hilarious collection of 10 songs all inspired by that must-have item: the handbag!
From the sexy to the sassy, the sad to the hilarious, Weinberg opens the bag of female mystery
and pulls out everything from dirty laundry to leather fetishes and ‘bag porn’ (her secret vice).
She sings of middle-aged women on ships, timeless female myths and secret women’s business.
There is a new song in the show too – "Doctor D" - dedicated to a real flying female doctor from Sydney.
'Chantelle' will showcase an unusual bag collection and there is even a 'show and tell' section where audience members
are encouraged to tell personal or amusing stories about th heir bags. The best story wins a designer bag from Cantabulous!
Drummer Nicola Ossher, trumpeter Ellen Kirkwood and cellist Kate Adams are the outstanding musical and vocal accompanists.
This is the perfect way to celebrate a girl’s night out, (though boys are very welcome too, cos they have their own ‘baggage’)
and paper lunch bags are provided at the door for the bagless! This talented and playful gang of women will ensure you have bags of fun.
