Terms and Conditions
1. Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these conditions.

Entry is open to residents of Ballarat & Central Highlands region only, and entry is deemed as
acknowledgement and acceptance of Conditions of Entry.3. 3BA FM102.3 (Radio Ballarat Pty Ltd) employees and their immediate families and any agencies
associated with this promotion are excluded from entry.
4. The Promotion commences at 6am AEDT on Saturday 10
th April 2017 and closes at 4pm AEDT
Friday 5th May 2017 (‘Promotion Period’) with winner drawn on Monday 8th of May 2017.
The Prize:
- This is an insurance prize.
- The selected winner of the ‘3BA Fat Duck Dive’ will have a 1 in 100 chance at winning $100,000.
- The selected winner of the ‘3BA Fat Duck Dive’ will be notified via phone and email within 48
hours of the competition and their names and postcodes will be published on
www.3ba.com.au- Prize value is correct at time of printing but no responsibility is accepted for any variation in the
value of the prize.
5. The prize is not transferable.
6. The prize cannot be allocated to other persons.
The Competition:
- During the Promotion Period, listeners can enter by calling when they hear the cue-to-call
throughout the workday and weekends.
- On Monday 8
th of May 2017 at 4.30pm AEDT one lucky winner of the ‘3BA Fat Duck Dive’ will
be drawn at random, all eligible entrants will be allocated a number and a random number generator will
determine the winning number.
- This person will be announced on Monday 8th of May 2017 at 8.20am AEDT on 3BA FM 102.3.
- They or a representative (over the age of 18) will then be required to attend the ‘3BA Duck Dive’
event on Friday 12th of May 2017 between approximately 10am-2pm at a sponsors venue Rest N Relax.
- At the event the person or their representative will be required to jump into the pool provided
where 100 rubber ducks numbered 1 to 100 will be floating in the water.
- The selected person will be required to grab ONE rubber duck only.
- Once they exit they will need to reveal the number on the duck.
- The corresponding numbered envelope will then reveal the amount of money that is won.
- There will be 99 rubber ducks worth $1,000 and only ONE rubber duck worth $50,000.
- The selected winner will have ONE chance at catching a rubber duck only.
- Should the selected winner not be comfortable in jumping in the water the can select a
representative to do so on their behalf.
7. 3BA FM102.3 (Radio Ballarat Pty Ltd) decision is final and no correspondence will be entered
into.
8. All registrations must be over the age of 18 years old.
9. No responsibility is accepted for any variation in the value of the prize.
10. No alternative prizes will be offered.

14. 3BA FM102.3 (Radio Ballarat Pty Ltd) reserves the right to request winners provide proof of
identity and proof of residency at the nominated prize delivery address. Identification considered suitable
for verification is at the discretion of the promoter.
15. The use of false name or address, i.e. name by which the entrant is not usually known will
disqualify them from receiving the prize.
16. To the full extent permitted by law, the Promoter, its associated companies and agencies and
any of their personnel (the "Relevant Parties") exclude all liability for any loss (including any damage,
claim, injury, cost or expense) which is suffered or incurred by any Eligible Entrant in connection with the
Promotion, including: (i) any indirect, economic or consequential loss; (ii) any loss arising from the
negligence of a Relevant Party; (iii) any liability for personal injury or death.
17. 3BA FM102.3 (Radio Ballarat Pty Ltd) reserves the right to refuse the allocation of a minor or
major prize should an individual prize winner have won any prizes more than once within the following
periods:
• A person who within the 30 days prior to the day on which the Radio Ballarat Competition was
first announced has won a prize in a Grant Broadcasters Competition conducted earlier in time the value
of which is greater than or equal to $50;
• A person who within the 90 days prior to the day on which the Radio Ballarat Competition was
first announced has won a prize in a Radio Ballarat Competition conducted earlier in time the value of
which is greater than or equal to $1,000;
• A person who within the 12 months prior to the day on which Radio Ballarat Competition was first
announced has won a prize in a Radio Ballarat Competition conducted earlier in time the value of which
is greater than or equal to $10,000;
18. If an individual prize winner has won more than once in the above periods it is classed as a
breach of the rules and the prize will not be awarded.
19. 3BA (Radio Ballarat Pty Ltd) has the right to ban competition winners from entering other 3BA
(Radio Ballarat Pty Ltd) competitions that they deem have broken the rules of the general prize giveaways
for a period of 12 months. The winner will be advised of this in writing after the entrant has been
disqualified.
20. 3BA (Radio Ballarat Pty Ltd) reserves the right to revoke a prize if deemed necessary.
21. Notwithstanding any other condition of these specific competition rules, 3BA (Radio Ballarat Pty
Ltd) reserves the right to withdraw the competition at any time and for any reason whatsoever.
