Century Yuasa Batteries National Consumer Promotion 2017 Terms & Conditions
1. The Century Yuasa Batteries NT Holiday Competition commences 1st May 2017 and
concludes 31st July 2017 at
17:00 (AEDT).
2. Directors, management, employees and their immediate families, their retailers, suppliers, associated companies
and agencies of Century Yuasa Batteries Pty Ltd are not eligible to enter.

To enter the prize draw end users must purchase an authentic Century, Yuasa, GS Yuasa or Besco battery from any
participating Australian retail outlet during the promotional period and complete an online entry form through
www.centurybatteries.com.au/NTHoliday .
4. Incomprehensible and incomplete entries will be deemed invalid.
5. For each purchase of a qualifying battery, the participant will receive one entry into the prize draw. For each
purchase of a Century Ultra Hi Performance, Century ISS Active or Power Series Ultra participants will receive 3
entries into the draw.

12. Century Yuasa accepts no other liability or responsibility for any loss incurred by a winner or any other party if any
prize (or any part of a prize) is unavailable for any reason.
13. Aircraft weight restrictions of 120kgs apply for the Outback Floatplane Adventure. If a winner exceeds 120kgs they
will not be able to participate in this part of the prize.

Total prize pool value is AUD $37,500.
15. Prize values based on manufacturers recommended retail price as at February 2017.
16. Prizes are not redeemable for cash or any other form of compensation. The value of the prize is accurate as at the
time of preparation of this material. Century Yuasa accepts no responsibility for any variation in the value of a prize
after that date. If a prize or any part of a prize is unavailable for any reason, Century Yuasa may substitute it for
another item of equal or higher value (where possible).
17. Unless expressly stated in these terms and conditions all other expenses including travel to and from the
event/departure point etc become the responsibility of the winner.
18. If the prize is unavailable, for whatever reason, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize for a prize of
equal or greater value, subject to State Regulation.
19. The reseller who sells the winning battery will also be awarded the same prize.20. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse to allow a winner to take part in any or all aspects of the prize, if the
Promoter determines, in their absolute discretion, that a winner is not in the mental or physical condition
necessary to be able to safely participate in the prize. It is a condition of accepting the prize that the winner may
be required to sign a legal release in a form determined by the Promoter in its absolute discretion.
21. Once prizes have left the Promoter’s premises, the Promoter takes no responsibility for prizes damaged, delayed
or lost in transit.
22. In the event that for any reason whatsoever a winner does not take an element of the prize at the time stipulated
by the Promoter then that element of the prize will be forfeited by the winner and cash will not be awarded in lieu
of that element of the prize.
23. The promotion is open to Australian residents minimum 18 years of age.
24. Winner of the prize will be drawn randomly on Wednesday 16th August 2017 at 11am at Century Yuasa Batteries,
65 Cobalt St, Carole Park, Qld 4300 in the presence of an independent witness. Winners’ details will be published

notified by phone within 48 hours of the draw with written confirmation to follow. If the winner cannot be
contacted within 1 month, a redraw will take place. The redraw will take place at 11am on the 13th September
2017 at Century Yuasa Batteries, 65 Cobalt St, Carole Park, Qld 4300 in the presence of an independent witness
and the winner notified by phone within 48 hours of the draw with written confirmation to follow. Details of the
redraw winner will be published on the promotional website

September 2017.
25. By accepting the prize, the winner agrees to participate in and co-operate as required with all reasonable media
editorial requests relating to the prize, including but not limited to, being interviewed and photographed, filmed
and/or chaperoned throughout the duration of the prize.
26. It is a condition of accepting the prize that the winner must comply with all the conditions of use of the prize and
the prize supplier’s requirements.
27. In the case of the intervention of any outside act, agent or event which prevents or significantly hinders the
Promoter’s ability to proceed with the competition on the dates and in the manner described in these terms and
conditions, including but not limited to vandalism, power failures, tempests, natural disasters, acts of God, civil
unrest, strike, war, act of terrorism, the Promoter may in its absolute discretion cancel the competition and
recommence it from the start on the same conditions, subject to any directions given under State Regulation.
28. The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to
indirect or consequential loss) or for any personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with any prize/s
except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
29. Century Yuasa needs to collect personal information about each entrant and may for this purpose, disclose such
information to third parties, including but not limited to agents, contractors, service providers, gift suppliers and
regulatory authorities. Participation in the Promotion is conditional on providing this information. If the entrant
opts in at time of entry, Century Yuasa may, for an indefinite period, unless otherwise advised, use the information
for promotional, marketing, publicity, research and profiling purposes, including sending electronic messages or
