Terms and Conditions
1. These terms and conditions relate to the Perfect Italiano Trip to Italy Promotion (“Promotion”). Information on how to enter and prizes forms part of, and entry into the Promotion is deemed to be acceptance of, these terms and conditions.
2. The Promoter is Fonterra Brands (Australia) Pty Ltd (ABN 80 095 181 669) 327 Ferntree Gully Road, Mount Waverley VIC 3149 Australia (“Promoter”).
3. The Promotion commences at 9:00am 10/4/17 and closes at 11:59pm 14/5/17 (“Promotional Period”). Entries received outside of the Promotional Period will not be accepted.
4. The Promotion will be advertised from the 10/4/17 to the 14/5/17 via website, social media (Facebook), in-store or event and other (digital, press).
Conditions of Entry
5. All entrants into the Promotion must be:
a. Australian Residents who are 18 years and over and are eligible to enter the promotion.
b. Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter, its related companies and any other companies associated with the Promotion are ineligible to enter.
c. You may only enter the Promotion once per transaction.
Prizes
6. Thirty-six (36) prize winners in total. Thirty-five (35) Daily Instant Prize Winners and one (1) Major Prize Winner. The total prize pool amount is RRP AU$52,365.
7. The Major Prize Winner will receive:
a. return flights for 4 adults, flying a single stop over economy flight, from entrant’s nearest Australian state capital city to Florence, Italy. No transfers to or from that Australian state capital city airport are included in the prize. Flights are full service and include luggage, meals and entertainment;
b. Transfers from airport to accommodation in Florence;
c. 5 nights in a 4 Star hotel in a deluxe room with breakfast and a VIP cooking class experience;
d. Transfers to train station including first class train ticket to Milan including transfers to accommodation staying 4 nights in Milan in a 4 star hotel, with breakfast and a walking food tour experience included;
e. Transfers from the winner’s Milan accommodation to Milan airport are also included (for the return flight from Milan to the nearest Australian state capital city to the entrant’s home).
f. A total of sum of AU$1000.00 spending money.
8. The Major Prize is valued at a total of approximately RRP AU$30,000. This Major Prize must be booked within a 12 month period after the draw date on 16/5/17.
9. The Daily Instant Prize Winner will receive a 5pc Scanpan Cookware set valued at RRP AU$639 or similar value. These will be awarded at a rate of one (1) per day. The total combined value of the Daily Instant Prizes is RRP AU$22,365.
How to enter
10. To enter simply purchase any two (2) Perfect Italiano products in one (1) transaction from any participating IGA, SUPA IGA, Foodworks or Foodland independent supermarket during the Promotional Period, visit the Promoter’s webpage at
www.perfectitaliano.com.au/italy and follow the prompts to the Promoter entry page. Complete and submit the online entry form including personal details (first name, last name, email address and phone number).
11. Using the unique referral link, the entrant may share the Promotion with a friend via email to receive one (1) bonus entry for the Major Prize Draw. The extra entry applies if the nominated friend validly enters the Promotion (using the unique referral link, and in accordance with any instructions provided to the entrant or friend of the entrant).
12. Entrants must keep their original purchase receipt(s) and the two (2) product(s) barcodes from their Perfect Italiano purchase for all claims as proof of purchase and for all verification purposes.
13. All entries are deemed to be received at the time of the receipt into the Promotion database and not at the time of transmission by the entrant. Entrants must also have a valid receipt at the time of entry to the Promotion, which depicts the product purchase dates within the Promotional entry date.
Draw and Winner Notification
14. The Major Prize Draw will be held from all entries received at 1pm AEDT on 16/5/17 at Peazie Social Media (Group) Pty Ltd, Level 2, 27 St Edmonds Road, Prahran VIC 3181 Australia, by a person nominated by the Promoter who will choose the winner at random selection. The winner will be contacted by phone and in writing within two (2) business days of the draw.
15. The Daily Instant wins draws will occur randomly each day via computer generated random instant win at Peazie Social Media (Group) Pty Ltd, Level 2, 27 St Edmonds Road, Prahran VIC 3181 Australia. If an entrant has won the Daily Instant Prize, the entrant will be notified immediately on screen at the time of entry. Additional information may be required for contact purposes. Winners will be notified by phone and or email with details on how to redeem the prize.
16. Winners will be given 3 months to claim their prizes after the date of contact from the Promoter including the Major Prize Draw and Daily Instant Prize wins. The draw date will occur on the 16/5/17 and must be claimed by the 16/8/17. A redraw will be held in the event of unclaimed prizes on the 17/8/17.
17. All winners will be published online at
www.perfectitaliano.com.au/italy within 14 days of the instant win and major prize draw.
18. The Promoter's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
19. Prizes will be awarded to the person named in the entry to the Promotion.
General Terms
20. The Promoter reserves the right to change these terms and conditions without prior notice.
21. Prizes cannot be varied and are not transferable or redeemable for cash. In the event that a winner does not take an element of the prize at the time stipulated by the Promoter, then that element of the prize will be forfeited by the winner.
22. If the winner is not able to be contacted within a reasonable time period following the draw, that winner shall forfeit the prize and the Promoter may choose to draw another winner, and so on until a winner is contacted to accept the prize.
23. Unless expressly stated in these terms and conditions, all other expenses become the responsibility of the winner including meals, taxes, transport, insurance and any other ancillary costs of any nature.
24. The Promoter reserves the right to request the winner to provide proof of identity, proof of residency at the nominated prize delivery address and/or proof of entry validity. In the event that such proof is not provided by the winner or is not suitable to Fonterra, then that winner shall forfeit their rights to any prizes.
25. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and to disqualify any entry (including the winning entry) which, in the Promoter’s opinion includes objectionable content, profanity or potentially insulting, inflammatory or defamatory statements.
26. The Promoter may disqualify any entry or individual (including any prize winner) who tampers with the entry process, submits an entry not in accordance with the terms and conditions, breaches these terms and conditions, or who has, in the opinion of the Promoter, engaged in conduct which is unlawful, improper, fraudulent, misleading, deceptive or generally damaging to the goodwill or reputation of the Promoter or Promotion.
27. The Promoter is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any web site, telephone network or lines, computer systems, servers, providers, computer equipment, software, technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any web site, or any combination thereof.
28. The Promoter assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to, or alteration of entries.
29. If for any reason the Promotion is not capable of running as planned for reasons including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other cause beyond the control of the Promoter, which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Promotion, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to cancel, suspend or modify the Promotion.
30. The Promoter takes no responsibility for lost, damaged, misdirected, late or illegible entries or any entries that for whatever reason, are not received by the Promoter or are incomplete.
31. The winner of any prize agrees to co-operate with all reasonable media editorial requests relating to the prize, including being interviewed, photographed or filmed. The winner permits having their name, image and/or voice appear in connection with the Promotion, the Promoter or the advertising or marketing thereof, in any media whatsoever throughout the world.
32. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Promoter and its related companies shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or personal injury whatsoever by or to any person in connection with the Promotion or with winning or benefiting from a prize.
33. All entries become the property of the Promoter. The Promoter needs to collect personal information from entrants in order to conduct the Promotion – without this personal information the Promoter may not be able to provide you with entry into the Promotion. Unless otherwise authorized by you, your personal information will be held by the Promoter for the purposes of the Promotion and may be shared with partners of the Promoter solely for the purposes of the Promotion.
