Terms and Conditions
By entering the competition, all entrants will be deemed to have accepted and
agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions. All entry instructions form part
of these terms and conditions.
1. The promoter is: Glen Dimplex Australia Ltd whose registered office is at 1/21 Lionel
Road, Mount Waverley, VIC, 3149, Australia.
2. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated
with Facebook, Instagram or any other social media network. You are providing your
information to the Promoter, not Facebook or Instagram. The information you provide
will only be used for the competition. By entering the competition all participants
accept that they will have no claim against Facebook or Instagram whatsoeverand
agree to give Facebook or Instagram a complete liability release from any and all
legal liability in connection with the promotion.

selected as the winner.
Eligibility:
4. The competition is open to Australian residents aged 18 or over, excluding
employees and the immediate families of the Promoter and its subsidiaries or
agents. The promoter reserves the right to refuse any entry that is believed to be in
breach of the Terms and Conditions.
5. There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary.
6. All entries must be made directly by the person entering. Syndicated entries or those
made using methods such as a computer macro, a script or the use of brute or any
other automated devices or processes are not allowed and all such entries will be
disqualified and any prize award forfeited.
7. Multiple entries per person are not permitted during the Promotional Period. Anyone
trying to circumvent this rule by using alternative details will be disqualified from this
promotion. If any entrant creates numerous Facebook accounts in order to win the
Promotion more than once, they will bedisqualified.

8. The promotion will open from Friday 19th May 2017 to Friday 26th May 2017 at
11:59am AEST. Any entries received after this date will not be eligible/accepted

i)To enter the promotion on Facebook participants must post on the Dimplex
Australia Facebook page, replying with a comment of 25 words max. on the
promotion’s post about what would they name their Dimplex Connect should they
have one and why. It is compulsory to be able to post on Facebook for entry into
this promotion. *If the nature of the name submitted by the entrant is deemed to be
illegal, detrimental, defamatory, offensive, racist, vulgar, obscene, threatening,
violent, against decency, infringing third parties rights, chocking, disparaging or the
like, the entry will be immediately disqualified and deleted from the page, and the
entrant will be immediately disqualified to obtain any prize*.
ii)To enter the promotion on Instagram, participants must reply with a comment on
the promotion’s post or tag @dimplexaus in a post of their own with the
funniest/strangest name they would use for their Dimplex Connect should they
have one and why. The post is limited to 25 words max. and should include the use
of the hashtag #IdNameMyDimplexConnect in the body of the post or reply. It is
compulsory to be able to post on Instagram for entry into this promotion. *If the
nature of the name submitted by the entrant is deemed to be illegal, detrimental,
defamatory, offensive, racist, vulgar, obscene, threatening, violent, against
decency, infringing third parties rights, chocking, disparaging or the like, the entry
will be immediately disqualified and deleted from the page, and the entrant will be
immediately disqualified to obtain any prize*.
Winner Selection and Notification
11.
A random winner will be selected at the end of the period, from all eligible entries
complying with the following criteria: publicly visible post no longer than 25 words on
either Facebook or Instagram, inclusion of the hashtag #IdNameMyDimplexConnect,
and tag of @dimplexaus (if applicable).
12. The winner will be notified via direct message on Facebook or Instagram. It is the sole
responsibility of the entrant to ensure their privacy settings allow them to be contacted
by the Promoter in the event that they have been selected as the winner.
13. To claim the prize, the winner must respond to the private message via the Dimplex
Australia Facebook or Instagram page and must provide a contact name, eligible
delivery address and contact number.
14. In the event the claim for a prize is not received by the Promoter within 7 days of such
notification, the Promoter reserves the right to withdraw prize entitlement and award
the prize to a reserve selected at the same time as the original. No responsibility can
be taken for claims which are lost, delayed, corrupted, damaged, misdirected or
incomplete or cannot be delivered for any technical, delivery or other reason. Prizes
will be organised directly with the named person as per the entry.

15. There will be only one winner selected amongst all received entries.

17. Delivery of Prizes: Please allow up to 60 days for delivery. Prizes that are returned to
sender or not delivered due to inaccurate address details will be declared unwanted
and the prize will be lost. The promoter is in no way liable for the non-delivery of prizes
and no replacement or communication will be entered into relating to non-delivery.
General:
18. The Promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the promotion and these terms
and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military
disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or
regulation or any other event outside of the Promoter’s control. Any changes to the
promotion will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the Promoter. Prize is
subject to availability and we reserve the right to substitute any prize with another of
equivalent value without giving notice.
19. No exchanges will be accepted. No cash or other alternative prize is available, in
whole or in part except, in the event of circumstances outside the reasonable control
of the Promoter, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute suitable alternatives of
equal or greater value.
20. No responsibility can be accepted for any difficulties in entering or any entries
delayed or corrupted.
21. If you win the prize, you agree to take part in reasonable publicity at no expense to
the Promoter.
22. The Promoter reserves the right to verify any entrants and the winners before making
any award. This includes, but is not limited to name, age and address. The Promoter
may refuse to award a prize, or withdraw prize entitlement and refuse further
participation in the promotion where there are reasonable grounds to believe there
has been a breach of these terms and conditions or any instructions forming part of
this promotions entry requirements, or otherwise where a participant has gained unfair
advantage in participating in the promotion or won using fraudulent means.
23. The promoter will not accept any entries which are not made in accordance with the
Terms & Conditions.
24. To ensure fairness and the integrity of the promotion to all participants, the Promoter
will not enter into discussions or any other correspondence regarding the running of
this promotion via Facebook or Instagram. Any entrant posting or seen to be posting
comments to Dimplex Australia’s Facebook or Instagram pages or elsewhere during
the draw that are considered bullying, spiteful or upsetting to other contestants, fans
of Dimplex Australia or directly aimed at the Promoter, will have their comments
removed and will be disqualified from the draw. We reserve the right to alert
Facebook and Instagram to any such behaviour and you may have your account
frozen pending investigation.
25. Please note that in processing data for the administration of the promotion the
Promoter may disclose customer information to other companies in its group or to third
parties used by the Promoter and its affiliates for the purposes of the promotion only.
26. By entering this competition all participants agree to allow the associated imagery
and video content to be used by Dimplex for online advertising and marketing
purposes through the Dimplex website, social media channels and online advertising
with publication channels.
27. These terms and conditions (and any non-contractual disputes/claims which arise out
of or in connection with them) will be governed by Australian law and entrants submit
to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Australian courts.
