SOCIAL MEDIA – PERTH MINT’S 118TH BIRTHDAY COMPETITION
The promoters are Gold Corporation (ABN 98 838 298 431) and its subsidiaries Western Australian Mint (ABN 44 590 221 751), GoldCorp Australia (ABN 49 230 812 547) trading collectively as The Perth Mint (“The Perth Mint”).
Entry into this competition implies acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

The Perth Mint reserves the right at its sole discretion to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice.

ELIGIBILITY
This competition is open to entrants worldwide aged 15 years of age and over.
The Perth Mint’s associated agents, associated companies, employees and their immediate families are not eligible to enter this competition.
The Perth Mint reserves the right to exclude any person from this competition for any reason whatsoever.
The Perth Mint at their discretion reserve the right to disqualify any entrant for any reason including an entry which is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions of entry, or if the entrant is engaged in any conduct in entering the competition which is fraudulent, misleading, deceptive or generally damaging to the goodwill or reputation of The Perth Mint or the competition.
COMPETITION PERIOD
The competition runs for the period between 00.01am AWST on Thursday 1 June 2017 to 23.59pm AWST on Friday 30 June 2017.
Entries received outside these dates are ineligible for consideration.
PRIZES
The prize pool comprises coin sets from The Perth Mint’s Young Collectors Series:
i.2010 Australian Backyard Bugs $1 Coin Set – rec. retail price AUD 79.95
ii.2011 Mythical Creatures $1 Coin Collection – rec. retail price AUD 99.95
A total of thirty (30) coin sets will be awarded as prizes.
The minimum value of the prize pool is AUD 2398.50.
A winner will be awarded the prize of his or her choice from the pool comprising 2010 Australian Backyard Bugs $1 Coin Sets and 2011 Mythical Creatures $1 Coin Collections.
HOW TO ENTER
Entrants must like and comment on the competition post on either The Perth Mint Facebook page (

The comment must name the Young Collectors Coin Set the entrant would prefer to win, and provide their reason(s) behind this choice.
Entrants may only enter once per day* during the 30 day competition period. (*day is defined as each 24 hours period from 00.01am to 23.59pm AWST of that day.
Entries are valid for the duration of the day they are posted.
WINNERS’ SELECTION
Entrants are eligible to receive one prize only per day.
Competition entries will be judged by a panel composed of Perth Mint staff in its sole and absolute discretion.
Judges will award prizes to entrants who in their opinion submit original, interesting, witty or otherwise clever reasons for their choice of prize.
Only legible entries will be considered by the panel of judges.
One (1) winner be announced each day at 10.00 AWST on The Perth Mint Facebook page (
https://www.facebook.com/theperthmint/) and The Perth Mint Instagram page (
https://www.instagram.com/theperthmintaustralia) for the thirty (30) days duration of the competition.
A winner must provide The Perth Mint with mailing information within five (5) working days of notification so that prizes can be posted otherwise they will fail to qualify for a prize.
The Perth Mint reserves the right to request that a winner provides proof of age if deemed younger than 15 years of age by The Perth Mint.
If a winner is younger than 15 years of age, The Perth Mint requires parental consent or the accompaniment by an adult before the prize can be claimed. If a winner cannot provide parental consent or is not accompanied by an adult The Perth Mint can decide in its sole and absolute discretion that the prize be forfeited and no substitute offered.

The Perth Mint accepts no responsibility for any late, lost, or misdirected entries or any lost in transit prizes or prizes that are damaged in transit.
The Perth Mint assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay, theft, destruction or unauthorised access to or alteration of entries and reserves the right to take any action that may be available.
The Perth Mint takes no responsibility for the loss of any prize due to incorrect or imprecise delivery mailing details provided by an entrant. The Perth Mint makes no representations or warranties as to the suitability or merchantability of any of the prizes.
The Perth Mint accepts no responsibility for customs restrictions or import charges and other local charges that may be incurred for prize deliveries overseas.
Under no circumstances will The Perth Mint be liable for any loss or damage suffered or sustained by any prize winners whatsoever as a result of accepting any prize or participation in the competition, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
Should any causes transpire beyond the control of The Perth Mint, which corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, or proper conduct of the competition, then The Perth Mint reserve the right, at its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend this competition.
The Perth Mint, its affiliates, associated companies and agencies take no responsibility for any injury, loss or claim including without limitation during the draw, in the participation in any prize, or failure for whatever reason in the receipt of the entry by The Perth Mint from any individual.
Any cost associated with accessing the promotional website is the entrant's responsibility and is dependent on the Internet service provider used.
