http://bmag.com.au/win/win-labyrinth-tickets/The ’80s classic is returning to the big screen for the school holidays.
Now celebrating 30 years since its release, Labyrinth is a bona fide cult classic.
The film tells the tale of 15-year-old Sarah, who wishes her baby half-brother, Toby, away to the Goblin King, Jareth. Unfortunately, the Goblin King turns out to be real — and he won’t release Toby unless Sarah completes his Labyrinth in 13 hours.
Directed by Jim Henson (The Muppets, The Dark Crystal) and produced by Star Wars mastermind George Lucas, Labyrinth stars David Bowie and Jennifer Connelly in the roles that made them favourites with a whole generation of fans.
On Sunday 2 July, Brisbane cult cinema guru Kristian Fletcher will present two screenings (at 11am and 5pm) of this family movie classic at Metro Arts!
The screenings will be held in The Lumen Room, the newly refurbished cinema on the ground level of Metro Arts. This intimate, 100-seat cinema is the perfect place to relive the magic of your favourite movies.
Bookings are recommended, but limited tickets will be available at the door. For more info and tickets, visit kristianfletcher.com.
