Remember a time when finding a food truck was either an act of sheer luck or the result of countless hours scouring through Facebook pages? This seems like a lifetime ago, because Brisbane City Council stepped up to the plate exactly one year ago and created the Brisbane Food Trucks website to make tracking your favourites a whole lot easier.
Avid readers of The Weekend Edition will be well aware that we’re all for a good food-truck feast. We’ve found you the best weekday food truck eats, the best food truck events and all of the best mobile street-food vendors this fine city has to offer (yes, we take our craft seriously and yes, you’re very welcome). But, we know you. We know you crave more. We know that every weekday at exactly 11:30 am you start thinking about your options (and your bank account), dreading a disappointing lunch. A soggy sandwich? Leftovers? The tuna you’ve had in your snack drawer since you started working there three years ago? Forget about it!
