Somerset garden enthusiasts are being encouraged to submit an entry into Somerset Regional Council's inaugural garden competition.
There are three competition categories: Best Rural Garden, Best Urban Garden and Best Business/Community Group and the winners of each category will receive a $500 cash prize and a signature prize pack from Searles valued at $100.
Somerset residents have from now until Sunday, October 8 2017, to enter their gardens into an open garden display and associated competition.
The community will be invited to view gardens entered into the competition during the last two weekends in October 2017.
