CONDITIONS OF ENTRY
1. Information on how to enter, mechanics of entry and prizes form part of these Conditions of
Entry. Entry into this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Conditions of Entry. Entry is via
in-store for Electronic Sale Entry and Internet for Cash Sale Entry.
PROMOTIONAL PERIOD
2. The promotion commences at 7:30am (AEST) on 28/08/2017 and closes at 5:00pm (AEDT) on
06/10/2017 (Promotional Period).
3. The Promotional Period will be divided into six (6) promotional weeks, commencing and closing
on the dates and times (AEST or AEDT depending on the date) set out below, for the purpose
of determining Weekly National Prize winners and awarding prizes in this promotion (each, a
Promotional Week). Each Promotional Week will have its own draw at OneSteel Metalcentre
Head Office, Level 8, 205 Pacific Highway, St Leonards NSW 2065 on the date and time (AEST
or AEDT depending on the date) set out below (each, a Draw). All entries received during a
Promotional Week will be entered into the corresponding Draw to determine the winners for that
Promotional Week. Entries received in a given Promotional Week will NOT rollover into any
subsequent Draw(s). The winners will be notified in writing within two (2) days of the Draw, and
the names and localities of the Weekly National Prize winners will be published in The Australian
on 27/10/2017. All reasonable steps to notify winners of the results of the Draws will be taken
by the Promoter. The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

ELIGIBILITY
4. Entry is open to residents of Australia aged 18 years or older (Entrants). The directors,
management and employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter, its related entities,
printers, suppliers, providers and agencies whom are directly associated with the conduct of
this promotion are ineligible to enter the promotion.
HOW TO ENTER
5. To enter the promotion, Entrants must, during the Promotional Period, submit an entry as
follows:
Electronic Sale Entry

a) Spend $1,000.00 in an electronic transaction on Pipe and Tube products (excluding
Downgrade, Defective Coating and Hot Dipped Gal Pipe) at a participating OneSteel
Metalcentre store (Participating Store) in Australia to be automatically entered into the
competition.
Cash Sale Entry
a) spend $1,000.00 in a cash sale on Pipe and Tube products (excluding Downgrade,
Defective Coating and Hot Dipped Gal Pipe) at a Participating Store in Australia (Eligible
Purchase) and retain the store receipt of the Eligible Purchase (Store Receipt);
b) obtain an official entry form from sales staff in-store at time of purchase and fully and
correctly complete the entry form in the manner required, including providing the Entrant’s
full name, contact telephone number, mobile telephone number, residential address,
current and valid email address, invoice number and store name; and
c) Submit completed entry form at www.onesteelmetalcentre.com/endura500 OR
www.midaliasteel.com (Promotional Websites). All entries must be received by the
Promoter by 5:00pm (AEDT) on 06/10/2017.
6. Entrants will receive one (1) entry into the promotion per $1,000 spent. Multiple entries
permitted. Each entry must each be based on every $1,000 spent, and will not be rounded-up.
For example, an Eligible Purchase valued at $1,000 will entitle the Entrant to one (1) entry and
an Eligible Purchase valued at $2,000 will entitle the Entrant to two (2) entries. For the
avoidance of doubt, purchases of eligible products in separate transactions cannot be combined
to form an Eligible Purchase. Each Entry must independently comply with these Conditions of
Entry.
7. Entries will be deemed accepted at the time of receipt by the Promoter and not at the time of
transmission. Entries received will be considered final by the Promoter. Incomplete, inaccurate,
erroneous, ineligible or incomprehensible Entries will be deemed invalid. The Promoter accepts
no responsibility for late, lost or misdirected Entries. Entries must be received by the Promoter
during the Promotional Period.
8. Each Entrant must retain and may be required to present proof of each Eligible Purchase in
order to claim a prize. An Entrant may be required to provide to the Promoter proof of purchase
for all entries made. If an Entrant is unable to provide proof of purchase for all entries made
within the required timeframes, then all the entries of that Entrant may be ineligible and deemed
invalid. Proof of purchase includes showing the original and providing the invoice number for
each Eligible Purchase made during the Promotional Period. Store Receipt(s) must be intact,
must clearly display the invoice number utilised by the Entrant to enter the promotion and must
indicate that the Eligible Purchase was made during the Promotional Period but prior to entry.
9. Entries received will be considered final by the Promoter. Incomplete, inaccurate, erroneous,
ineligible or incomprehensible entries will be deemed invalid. The Promoter accepts no
responsibility for late, lost or misdirected entries. Contact details entered incorrectly by an
Entrant will deem an entry invalid.
10. Costs associated with accessing the Promotional Websites remain an Entrant’s responsibility
and may vary depending on the Internet service or telecommunications provider used.
WEEKLY PRIZES
11. Weekly State Group Prizes: In order to determine the winners, the entries will be sorted by
the following five (5) regions: QLD, NSW/ACT, VIC/TAS, SA/NT and WA (each, a State Group).
The first eligible entry randomly drawn in each Draw from all entries received in each State
Group during the corresponding Promotional Week will each win one (1) $200 Red Balloon
Voucher (Weekly State Group Prize).
12. Red Balloon Vouchers are subject to their prevailing terms and conditions of use, including
expiry dates, and are not replaceable if lost, stolen or damaged.

13. Weekly National Prizes: The first eligible entry randomly drawn in each Draw from all entries
received nationally during the corresponding Promotional Week will win one (1) of the following:
i. WEEK 1: GoPro HERO5 Black valued at $570.00 each (Weekly National Prize).
ii. WEEK 2: Apple Watch 2 (Space Grey Aluminium Case with Anthracite/Black Nike
Sport Band). Valued at $579.00 each. (Weekly National Prize).
iii. WEEK 3: Sengled Pulse Link Starter Set - Surround Sound & light Package. Valued
at $390.00 each (Weekly National Prize).
iv. WEEK 4: Signed Rick Kelly Merchandise Pack containing Jacket, Polo Shirt & Cap.
Valued at $250.00 each (Weekly National Prize).
v. WEEK 5: X Box One S Gaming Console. Valued at $399.00 each (Weekly National
Prize).
vi. WEEK 6: GoPro Karma Drone. Valued at $1750.00 each (Weekly National Prize).
14. If, at the end of the Promotional Period, there are any Weekly National Prizes that have not
been awarded because there were no entries received on a certain Promotional Week, these
Weekly National Prizes will rollover into the Weekly Prizes Unclaimed Prize Draw. There are
six (6) weekly prizes to be awarded in the promotion.
MAJOR PRIZE
15. Major Prize Draw: The draw to determine the Major Prize winner will take place at 3:00pm
(AEDT) on 11/10/2017 at OneSteel Metalcentre Head Office, Level 8, 205 Pacific Highway, St
Leonards NSW 2065 The Major Prize winner will be notified by telephone and in writing within
two (2) days of the draw. The Major Prize winner’s name and locality will be published in The
Australian on 28/10/2017. All reasonable steps to notify winners of the results of the promotion
will be taken by the Promoter. The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be
entered into.
16. Major Prizes: The first eligible entry randomly drawn from all entries received during the
Promotional Period will win one (1) Nissan X-Trail 4WD motor vehicle with Automatic
Transmission and tow bar. The Major Prize is valued at $36,562.00, which is the recommended
retail price as listed on the overview page of the Nissan Motorsport website
http://www.nissan.com.au/Cars-Vehicles/2017-XTRAIL/Overview, excluding dealer
accessories. The Major Prize includes twelve (12) months registration in the winner’s State or
Territory of residence, twelve (12) months third party compulsory insurance, on road costs,
stamp duty and dealer delivery costs, dependent upon the State or Territory of the winner’s
usual residential address, but excludes comprehensive insurance, dealer accessories and
operational costs, which are the responsibility of the winner. All ancillary costs or accessories
not expressly provided are the responsibility of the winner.
The second eligible entry randomly drawn from all entries received during the Promotional
Period will win one (1) Kawasaki KX250F motorcycle. The second Major Prize is valued at
$10,599.00 + Delivery Costs, which is the recommended retail price as notified by Robert
Walker the National Sales & Marketing Manager of Kawasaki Motors Pty Ltd given on 18/7/2017
via email. Information on the motorcycle can be found on the Kawasaki website
http://kawasaki.com.au/shop/motorcycles/motocross/2017-kx250f/, There is no registration or
insurance provided as this is an off-road only motorcycle. All ancillary costs, off-road licenses
or accessories not expressly provided are the responsibility of the winner.
17. To be eligible to claim the Major Prize, the winner must be capable of obtaining motor vehicle
registration of the Major Prize in his or her name in accordance with the applicable legislation
in the Australian State or Territory in which the Major Prize is collected. If the winner is, through
any legal incapacity or otherwise, unable to register the Major Prize in his or her name then
such winner may assign the Major Prize to another person with legal capacity for the purpose
of registration.

18. It is a condition of being awarded the Major Prize that the winner must, following notification
and prior to the awarding of the prize, confirm their full name and address, and provide the
Promoter with a copy of their current and valid Australian driver’s license. The winner must
provide the Promoter with certified copies of all required documentation as required by the
Promoter before the prize is awarded. The winner must sign all documentation necessary to
enable the Promoter (or its nominated dealer) to register the prize in a winner's name prior to a
winner’s collection of the:
a. Car from a Nissan dealership. All costs associated with travel to and from the dealership
is at the Entrant’s own cost. Further details and locations of Nissan dealerships can be
found at http://www.nissan.com.au/find-a-dealer The Promoter accepts no
responsibility for any mechanical, body or paint repairs or repairs or maintenance of
any kind relating to the prize after the date and time of prize collection by the winner.
Any vehicles depicted in any promotional material are not necessarily the same colour
or grade as the prize vehicle, and are for illustration purposes only.
b. Motorcycle from a Kawasaki dealership. All costs associated with travel to and from the
dealership is at the Entrant’s own cost. Further details and locations of Kawasaki
dealerships can be found at http://kawasaki.com.au/dealer-locator/.
The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any mechanical, body or paint repairs or
repairs or maintenance of any kind relating to the prize after the date and time of prize
collection by the winner. Any vehicles depicted in any promotional material are not
necessarily the same colour or grade as the prize vehicle, and are for illustration
purposes only.
19. The winners will be contacted by the Promoter to arrange for the delivery of the vehicle to their
usual residential address or collection of the vehicle from the dealership nearest to their usual
residential address, as nominated by the Promoter in its sole discretion. Upon delivery or
collection of the vehicle (as applicable), the winner must provide their current driver’s licence
for inspection and demonstrate that the Promoter has arranged the required registration and
compulsory insurance in their name, before the vehicle may be taken or driven away from the
collection point. Delivery or collection of the vehicle is subject to availability of the vehicle, but
is anticipated to be within twenty-eight (28) days from the date the winner is notified that they
have won.
20. The colour of the Major Prize motor vehicle is at the discretion of supplier and is subject to
availability of colours at the relevant dealership. Subject to agreement by the supplying dealer,
stock availability and subject to the winner agreeing to pay any additional amount requested by
the dealer, the winner may upgrade the vehicle optional extras and accessories.
21. The total maximum prize pool value in each State Group is as follows: NSW/ACT: up to
$51,099; VIC/TAS: up to $51,099; SA/NT: up to $51,099; and WA: up to $51,099. The total
maximum prize pool value for the promotion is up to $51,099. There are a total number of eight
(Cool prizes being awarded in this competition. The prizes are not transferable or exchangeable.
Prizes must be taken as offered and cannot be varied. The Promoter accepts no responsibility
for any tax implications that may arise from the prize winnings. Independent financial advice
should be sought.
GENERAL
22. Major Prize Unclaimed Prize Draw: The Promoter may conduct a further draw at the same
place as the original Major Prize Draw as is necessary at 9:00am (AEDT) on 15/01/2018 in
order to distribute the Major Prize if unclaimed by that date, subject to any written directions
given under applicable State or Territory legislation. In the event of a winner in the Major Prize
Unclaimed Prize Draw, the winner will be notified by telephone and in writing within two (2) days
of the Major Prize Unclaimed Prize Draw, and the Major Prize winner’s name and locality will
be published in The Australian on 18/01/2018. All reasonable steps to notify any winner of the
results of the draw will be taken by the Promoter. The Promoter’s decision is final and no
correspondence will be entered into.
23. Weekly Prizes Unclaimed Prize Draw: The Promoter may conduct a further draw at the same
place as the original Draws as is necessary at 9:30am (AEDT) on 15/01/2018 in order to

distribute any Weekly National Prizes and/or Weekly State Group Prizes unclaimed by that date,
subject to any written directions given under applicable State or Territory legislation. In the event
of a winner(s) in the Weekly Prizes Unclaimed Prize Draw, the winner(s) will be notified by
telephone and in writing within two (2) days of the Weekly Prizes Unclaimed Prize Draw, and
the Weekly National Prize winner(s) name and locality will be published in The Australian on
19/01/2017. All reasonable steps to notify any winner of the results of the draw will be taken by
the Promoter. The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
24. Entrants can only enter in their own name. Entrants who provide incorrect, misleading or
fraudulent information are ineligible to participate in the promotion and all entries of an Entrant
who is deemed by the Promoter to have provided incorrect, misleading or fraudulent information
may, at the discretion of the Promoter, be deemed invalid. The Promoter reserves the right to
request an Entrant produce (within the requested time) appropriate photo identification or other
documentation (to the Promoter’s satisfaction, at its sole discretion) in order to confirm their
eligibility to enter and claim a prize, including the Entrant’s identity, age and residential address,
invoice number and/or the participating store’s name and location, and any other information
submitted by the Entrant in entering the promotion, before issuing a prize. If the documentation
required by the Promoter is not received by the Promoter (or its nominated agent) or an Entrant
or entry has not been verified or validated to the Promoter’s satisfaction then all the entries of
that Entrant will be ineligible and deemed invalid.

25. It is a condition of accepting a prize that a winner may be required to sign eligibility form(s),
code(s) of conduct and/or legal release(s) (including prize acceptance release(s)) in a form
determined by the Promoter in its absolute discretion.
26. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of any and all entries and reserves the right
to disqualify any Entrant for: (a) tampering with the entry process; (b) submitting an entry which
is not in accordance with these Terms & Conditions; or (c) if the Entrant is engaged in any
unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise the fair and proper conduct of
the promotion. The Promoter’s legal rights to recover damages or other compensation from
such an offender are reserved.
27. A prize will only be awarded following any winner validation and verification that the Promoter
requires in its sole discretion. The verification tests and procedures shall be determined by the
Promoter in its absolute discretion.
28. If a prize or element of a prize becomes unavailable, for any reason beyond the Promoter’s
reasonable control, then a comparable prize or prize element of equal or greater value will be
awarded in lieu, subject to any written directions made under applicable State or Territory
legislation.
29. If this promotion is not capable of running as planned for any reason beyond the reasonable
control of the Promoter, including but not limited to war, terrorism, state of emergency or disaster
(including natural disaster), infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised
intervention, technical failures or anything which corrupts or affects the administration, security,
fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this promotion, the Promoter reserves the right, in its
sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion and/or, if necessary, to
provide an alternative prize or prizes to the same value as an original prize or prizes, subject to
any written directions made under applicable State or Territory legislation.
30. The Promoter, its associated agencies and companies excludes all liability (including
negligence) except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law (including any applicable
Consumer Guarantee under the Australian Consumer Law), for any direct or indirect injury, loss
and/or damage arising in any way out of the promotion. This includes, but is not limited to: (i)
technical malfunctions, delays or failures, including those resulting from accessing any
materials related to this promotion and any incorrect, inaccurate or incomplete information
communicated in the course of, or in connection with, this promotion as a result of any technical
malfunctions, delays or failures; (ii) theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (iii)
lost or damaged entries, prize claims or prizes; and/or (iv) acceptance and/or use of any prize.
Applicable manufacturers and/or distributors should be contacted in regards to all prize warranty
claims.

31. As a condition of participating in this promotion, an Entrant consents to, in the event they are a
winner, the Promoter using the Entrant’s name, likeness, image and/or voice (as applicable,
including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period of
time without further notification, remuneration or compensation for the purpose of promoting,
publicising or marketing the promotion (including any outcome), and/or promoting any products
or services manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter. The Entrant agrees that,
in the event they are a winner, the Entrant will be involved in all reasonable promoted activities
in relation to the promotion as requested by the Promoter and its agents.
32. An entry and any copyright subsisting in an entry irrevocably becomes, at time of entry, the
property of the Promoter. The Promoter collects Personal Information about an Entrant to
include the Entrant in the promotion and, where appropriate, award prizes. If the Personal
Information requested is not provided, the Entrant cannot participate in the promotion and is
deemed ineligible. An Entrant also agrees that the Promoter may, in the event the Entrant is a
winner, publish or cause to be published the winner’s name and locality in any media, as
required under the relevant State or Territory lottery legislation. An Entrant can gain access to,
update or correct any Personal Information held by the Promoter by contacting the Promoter’s
Privacy Officer Kevin Hume on 02 8424 9801. All Personal Information will be stored at the
office of the Promoter. A copy of the Promoter’s Privacy Policy in relation to the treatment of
Personal Information collected may be obtained by contacting the Promoter.
33. If the Promoter collects an Entrant’s Personal Information, the Promoter will provide to the
Entrant, at time of entry into the promotion (or as soon as reasonably practicable thereafter), a
collection statement that details the Personal Information being collected, the purpose of its
collection, where the Personal Information will be stored and how it will be shared with third
parties. The collection statement will comply with the Promoter’s disclosure obligations under
the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
34. By participating in the promotion, an Entrant acknowledges that a further primary purpose for
collection of the Entrant’s Personal Information by the Promoter is to enable the Promoter to
use the information to assist the Promoter in improving goods and services and to contact the
Entrant in the future with information on special offers or provide the Entrant with marketing
materials via any medium including mail, telephone and commercial electronic messages (SMS
(Short Message Service), MMS (Multimedia Message Service), IM (Instant Messaging) and
email) or any other form of electronic, emerging, digital or conventional communications
channel whether existing now or in the future. The Promoter may share information with its
Australian related companies or promotion partners who may contact the Entrant with special
offers in this way. By entering the promotion, an Entrant acknowledges and agrees that the
Promoter may use the Entrant’s Personal Information in the manner set out in this condition.
35. In these Conditions of Entry: “Australian Consumer Law” means Schedule 2 of the
Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth). “Personal Information” means, for the purpose of
the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), information or an opinion about an identified individual, or an
individual who is reasonably identifiable, whether the information or opinion is true or not and
whether the information or opinion is recorded in a material form or not
