Terms and Conditions
By entering the “Haynes Shopping Centre Scratch and Win Win” competition, you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions:
1. STANDARD TERMS
1.1 Information on how to enter forms part of the terms of entry.
2. WHO CAN ENTER?
2.1 Subject to clause 2.2, entry is open to all residents of Western Australia.
2.2 Employees and their immediate families of Haynes Shopping Centre stores/management, their associated agencies and companies including contracted parties involved in the promotion are not eligible to enter.
3. HOW TO ENTER
3.1 The competition commences on 1 September 2017 and concludes at 5pm on Friday 27 October 2017, or when scratchie stocks run out, whichever comes first.
3.2 In order to enter, persons must spend $10 or more at participating stores within the Haynes Shopping Centre and claim a Scratch and Win Win ticket.
3.3 Each transaction over $10 entitles customers to one scratchie. To receive a second scratchie, another transaction over $10 must be made.
3.4 Purchases of tobacco, lotto products or medicine are not eligible as part of the $10 minimum spend required to receive a Scratch and Win Win ticket.
3.5 Customers must then redeem the offer or prize on that ticket with the associated retailer shown on the ticket, ensuring they have the retailer stamp the card with the stamps provided to them. Only stamped entries will be eligible to win the grand prizes.
3.6 Entrants complete the entry form found on the ticket and place the ticket in the entry barrel located outside Bakers Delight before 3pm on Friday 29 September 2017 or Friday 27 October 2017.
3.7 There will be two major prize draws, one on Friday 29 September 2017 and one on 27 October 2017.
3.8 Entrants in the competition may enter the competition as many times as they like.
3.9 Entries must be received by 3pm 29 September 2017 for the first draw OR 3pm 27 October 2017 for the second draw.
4. PRIZES
4.1 There are 30,000 instant win offers available and two major prizes. Instant winners will receive a prize or offer as indicated on the tickets in their possession. The major winners will each receive one prize package, as set out below.
4.2 The major prizes consist of a $1,000 shopping spree at Haynes Shopping Centre. The prize is awarded in the form of gift vouchers that can me redeemed at participating Haynes specialty stores. Total prize value is $1,000 and is broken down as follows:
30 x $20 vouchers
25 x $10 vouchers
30 x $5 vouchers
4.3 The winners are responsible for the collection of the prize from Lease Equity Management Office (Details will be provided to the winner)
4.4 In participating in the prizes, the winners agree to participate and co-operate as required in all editorial activities relating to the Competition. The winners agree to granting the promoter a perpetual and non-exclusive licence to use such footage and photographs in all media worldwide and the winners will not be entitled to any fee for such use.
4.5 If a winner of the prize is under the age of 18 as at the date of the draw, an adult must accompany the minor in the participation of the prize.
4.6 Prizes cannot be transferred nor redeemed for cash. Photo Identification must be produced when redeeming any vouchers.
5. MAJOR PRIZE - HOW TO WIN
5.1 There will be one winner chosen from total pool of entries received between 1 September – 29 September and 30 September – 27 October. Each entrant who has entered the competition over the duration of the competition and registered all details required and had ticket validated correctly (“Qualifying Entrant”) will be eligible. One winner will chosen judged on the criteria set out for competition:
5.2 Winners will be notified by telephone on Monday 2 September 2017 and Monday 30 October 2017. The winner’s name and suburb may be published on the Haynes Shopping Centre website and associated social media sites, including but not limited to Facebook, after the draw.
5.3 The promoter’s decision is final and the promoter will not enter into correspondence regarding the result.
5.4 The promoter reserves the right to refuse to allow a winner to take part in any or all aspects of the prize, if the Promoter determines, in their absolute discretion, that a winner is not in the mental or physical condition necessary to be able to safely participate in the prize. It is a condition of accepting the prize that the winner may be required to sign a legal release in a form determined by the promoter in its absolute discretion.
6. NO LIABILITY
6.1 In the case of the intervention of any outside act, agent or event which prevents or significantly hinders the Promoter’s ability to proceed with the competition on the dates and in the manner described in these terms and conditions, including but not limited to vandalism, power failures, tempests, natural disasters, acts of God, civil unrest, strike, war, act of terrorism, the Promoter may in its absolute discretion cancel the competition and recommence it from the start on the same conditions.
6.2 Haynes Shopping Centre & affiliates and associated agencies and companies will take no responsibility for prizes damaged or lost in transit, or late, lost or misdirected mail.
6.3 Haynes Shopping Centre & affiliates and associated agencies will not be liable for any misadventure, accident, injury, loss or claim that may occur:
a) during the draw;
b) whilst undertaking any activity in or connected with their entry into the draw
c) in the participation in any prize;
d) as a consequence of late, lost or misdirected mail;
e) due to the broadcast of any program relating to the competition or the publication of any material, including any statements made by any compere, staff member, journalist, other entrants or any other person;
f) in relation to failure of an entry to be received by the promoter on account of technical problems or traffic congestion;
g) arising from or related to any problem or technical malfunction of any computer equipment, software, internet connection, any injury or damage to entrant's or any other person's computer software related to or resulting from participation in this promotion;
6.4 Subi Square & affiliates and associated agencies assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries, and reserves the right to take any action that may be available.
6.5 If for any reason this competition is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the promoter which corrupt or affect the administration security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this competition, the promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, take any action that may be available, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition
