Entrants must be: 18 years of age or over.
Entrants may submit as many entries as they wish however each entry must be submitted via a separate entry and must independently comply with these Competition Terms of Entry.
For the avoidance of doubt, unless otherwise expressly stated, entrants may only win one (1) prize each in the Promotion.
During the Promotion Period entrants must complete the online entry form and register their details in the manner required on the Website and answer in 25 words or less the question “Why you need to escape your screens and win a weekend getaway from Ford Escape”
For the avoidance of doubt, entrants may be required to appear on air during the Promotion Period to be deemed a winner and awarded a Prize (in the Promoter’s sole and absolute discretion).
Entrants must be the holder of a current and valid Australian driver’s licence with no restrictions (i.e. P Plates etc.) and must enter into any legal releases, indemnities and any other documentation required by the Promoter and the prize provider, Ford in order to participate in the Prize. Failure to do so will deem the relevant prize winner ineligible for the Prize.
The Promoter will require entrants to provide proof of age and evidence of their current and valid Australian driver’s licence in a form acceptable to the Promoter. Should an entrant be unable to satisfy this requirement, the entrant will be ineligible for the Prize.
Replacing On-Air Entrants
If for any reason an entrant is unable to be contacted, or is otherwise unable to, or declines to, appear on air, or their phone line drops out or is inaudible, the Promoter (in its sole and absolute discretion) may replace that entrant by contacting who submitted the next ‘best’ Online Entry (based on the Judging Criteria) and inviting them to appear on air or participate in an on-air game or challenge (where applicable). The Promoter will repeat this process until an entrant is able to be contacted and confirms their eligibility and ability to appear on air or participate in the relevant on-air game or challenge (where applicable).

For the avoidance of doubt, if an entrant is spoken to by a representative of the Promoter, it does not mean they have been selected as an entrant or a winner (where applicable) and they may not be
invited to appear on air or participate in the relevant on-air game or challenge or be awarded a Prize (where applicable).

Week 2:
All valid Entries received from 6:00am AEDT Monday 2 October to 1:00pm ACST Thursday 12 October will be individually judged by representatives of the Promoter (in the Promoter’s sole and absolute discretion) by 3:00pm ACST Thursday 12 October 2017 at the Promoter’s premises. All valid entries will be judged based on the Judging Criteria.
Week 3:
All valid Entries received from 6:00am AEDT Monday 2 October to 1:00pm ACST Thursday 19 October will be individually judged by representatives of the Promoter (in the Promoter’s sole and absolute discretion) by 3:00pm ACST Thursday 19 October 2017 at the Promoter’s premises. All valid entries will be judged based on the Judging Criteria.
Week 4:
All valid Entries received from 6:00am AEDT Monday 2 October to 1:00pm ACST Thursday 26 October will be individually judged by representatives of the Promoter (in the Promoter’s sole and absolute discretion) by 3:00pm ACST Thursday 26 October 2017 at the Promoter’s premises. All valid entries will be judged based on the Judging Criteria.
All valid entries will be judged (by representatives of the Promoter) on originality, creativity and suitability or as otherwise specified by the Promoter (in the Promoter’s sole and absolute discretion). Where entrants are required to participate in a challenge or on air game, the Promoter may specify the relevant judging criteria prior to or at the time of the challenge or on air game.
There are four (4) prizes to be won each comprising of:
One (1) x Escape Your Screens Prize Pack which includes
- A Ford Escape loan car for a maximum of three (3) days (up to $600 value)
- $100 Fuel voucher
- A ‘Weekend Escape’ up to the value of 2,000. Weekend Escapes shall be determined
and advised by the Promoter (in the Promoter’s sole and absolute discretion)
The prize winner must take the prize on the date and at the time as nominated and advised by the Promoter (in the Promoter’s sole and absolute discretion).
For the avoidance of doubt, if the winner is unable to take the prize on the date and time as advised by the Promoter (in the Promoter’s sole and absolute discretion) they will forfeit the prize.
For the avoidance of doubt, all elements of the prize must be taken together.
Entrants must be able to take the Prize between 27 October 2017 and 3 December 2017 on a time and date as advised by the promoter in the sole and absolute discretion.
Dates and schedules of the prizes are not under the Promoter’s control and are subject to change. The Promoter takes no responsibility for any date or schedule changes.
Entrants to be eligible for the Prize must be the holder of a valid full Australian driver’s license. For the avoidance of doubt Prize winners will not be eligible to win the Prize as specified above if they have any restrictions to their current driver’s license including P-Plates.
Use of the Prize is subject to driver qualifications and eligibility for insurance coverage as advised to the Prize winner by the Promoter (in its sole and absolute discretion). Failure to meet the requirements will deem the winner ineligible for the Prize and they will forfeit the Prize.
At the time of winning the Promoter will ask the prize winner to supply a copy of their full Australian Driver’s license which will be passed on for insurance purposes, The Prize winner consents to the
Promoter and Prize Provider (Ford) conducting a driver history check to determine eligibility. For the avoidance of doubt, if the Prize winner does not supply appropriate documentation for insurance purposes or doesn’t hold a full unrestricted Australian Driver’s license they will forfeit their prize at the Promoter’s absolute and sole discretion.
The Prize winner will be solely responsible for any and all tolls, toll infringements, parking and traffic offences incurred while they use they Prize.
