Membership Drive Promotion - Terms & Conditions (3.6)
The Promotion commences at 10am Sunday 1st October 2017 and concludes 12am Saturday 31st December 2017, with the Prize Draw commencing at
7:05pm on Tuesday 2
nd January 2018.
To be eligible in this promotion you must be either renewing your Club Membership, becoming a New Member of the Club or have your name crossed
off a list which shows that you are a current multiple year card holder.
Please Note:
New members will only be eligible in this promotion if they join the club in the months of October & November 2017.
If you are a New Member or a Current 2017 Member renewing
For 1 year you will receive 1 ticket in the draw
For 3 years you will receive 3 tickets in the draw
For 5 years you will receive 5 tickets in the draw
For 20 years - you will receive - 20 tickets in the draw
Current multiple year card-holders will receive a ticket for the balance amount of years they have remaining on their membership. (current 2017 Card
holders will receive 0 tickets in the promotion) The current highest card in circulation is up to 2040. One ticket will be issued for each year from 2018
onwards as per the below;
For eg; If you have a 2018 card you will receive 1 ticket
If you have a 2019 card you will receive 2 tickets
If you have a 2020 card you will receive 3 tickets
If you have a 2021 card you will receive 4 tickets
(The Multiple Year Cards produced must have been issued prior to October 1
st 2017 to be classed as previous Multiple Year Members).
Life Members (whom are not members of the Board) will receive 3 Tickets in the Draw (there are currently 8 Life Members of the Club of which three are
Club Directors, making them ineligible to enter)
We do not accept any other Renewals or New Memberships other than those mentioned above.
For eg; If you are a current 2017 Multiple Year Card Holder the maximum you could extend/renew your membership for would be 20 years (taking you
up to a 2037 Card Holder)
Once the Tickets have been issued to the Member, they are then the responsibility of the Member, any lost, damaged or misplaced tickets will not be
replaced or re-issued. Members are to hold on to their tickets and bring them to the Club to place in the designated barrel on Tuesday 2
nd January 2018
between the hours of 10am - 7:00pm. The barrel will close for entries at 7:00pm on Tuesday 2nd January 2018 (you must be in the line to place your
tickets in the barrel prior to 7pm, no-one will be able to enter the queue to put tickets in the barrel after 7pm).
PLEASE NOTE: Only Original issued tickets will be accepted. (No copies)
Staff, Management, Directors and on-duty (at the time of the draw) Contractors of Canley Heights RSL & Sporting Club are ineligible to claim a prize in
this promotion. Tickets are Non-Transferrable.
The Draw for First Prize (the Car) will commence at 7:05pm on Tuesday 2
nd January 2018 at which time the ticket drawn from the barrel will be
checked for authenticity, that the Member has been approved by the Board and that the ticket contains the Members correct details the Badge
Number of the drawn ticket will then be announced and that person (whom must have been present at the time of the draw) will then have 4 minutes to
claim the prize. The Winner will be required to show their current Financial Plastic Membership Card to the Promotion Host. If the prize has not been
claimed in 4 minutes, another draw will take place at 7:10pm and so on every 5 minutes until a winner has been found.
The Draw for 2nd Prize ($3000 Cash) will be conducted at 7:30pm and the Draw for 3rd Prize (the $500 Club Gift Card) will be conducted at 8:00pm and
will follow the same format as the Major Prize Draw. If the Draw for 1st Prize has not been claimed by 7:25pm (prior to the scheduled 2nd Prize Draw at
8:00pm), we will continue on with the 1st Prize Draw until claimed and then continue on with the next Draw being the 2nd Prize Draw at the next 5 minute
draw time. In the event that the prizes are not claimed at the scheduled times we will continue to Draw every 5 minutes until all prizes have been
distributed or the Club ceases trade at 3am. In the event that any prizes have not been claimed by 3am on 02/01/18, the draw will be held-over and
drawn the following evening Wednesday (3
rd January) and commence at 7:00pm and follow the same format as previously mentioned.
As soon as a winner has claimed One prize in this promotion they will then become ineligible to claim any further prizes in the promotion.
For eg; If you won the Major Prize you then become ineligible to win 2nd or 3rd Prize.
The Management of Canley Heights RSL & Sporting Club will have the final say on all aspects of this Promotion (being the distribution of tickets upon
renewal or joining and the drawing of the prizes) and no correspondence will be entered into.
