TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
1. Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
2. The promoter is Roadshow Films Pty Ltd (ABN: 28 100 746 870) of 1 Garden Street, South Yarra, Victoria 3141 (“Promoter”).
3. Entry is only open to NSW, VIC, QLD and WA residents aged 15 years or over.
4. Entrants under 18 years old must have parental/guardian approval to enter and further, the parent/guardian of the entrant must read and consent to these Terms and Conditions. Parents/guardians may be required by the Promoter to enter into a further agreement as evidence of consent to the minor entering this promotion.
5. Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter and agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or 1st cousin.
6. Promotion opens at 9:00am AEST on 20/10/2017 and final entries close at 9:00am AEST on 30/10/2017 (“Promotional Period”). All times are AEDST.
7. This promotion will be promoted by the Promoter directly and via a number of promotional partners who will promote the promotion to their databases and customers (each a “Partner”). Entrants will be required to select where they heard about the Promotion (i.e. from Promoter, from a Partner or Other, as provided on the entry form) and what State they are from at the time of entry in accordance with clause 8. With the exception of residents from QLD, entries will be divided depending on whether the entrant selected Promoter (“Group 1”), Supanova Partner (“Group 2”), EB Games & ZING Partner (“Group 3”) or Other (“Group 4”) as where they heard about the promotion. Entries will then be further divided according to the entrant’s State of residence. Prizes available to be won in each group in each State (excluding QLD) are indicated in the table below. QLD entries will not be divided into groups based on where the entrant heard about the Promotion; rather there will be a total of four (4) prizes available to be won byall residents of QLD:

8. To enter, the entrant must during the Promotional Period complete the following steps:

Input the requested details including their full name, email address and screening location;
Provide an answer to the question "Bruce Wayne pays you a visit... what super power do you possess and how would you convince him to let you join the Justice League?” in 25 words or less;
Select if they heard about the promotion from the Promoter, Supanova Partner, EB Games & ZING Partner or Other. Entrants can only select one option; and then
Submit the fully completed online entry form.
9. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any entrant who the Promoter has reason to believe has breached any of Terms and Conditions, tampered with the entry process or engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise fair and proper conduct of the promotion. Errors and omissions will be accepted at the Promoter's discretion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights. The Promoter's legal rights to recover damages or other compensation from such an offender are reserved.
10. Incomplete or indecipherable entries will be deemed invalid.
11. Only one (1) entry is permitted per person. For the avoidance of doubt, individuals can only submit one (1) entry for the duration of the Promotional Period.
12. If there is a dispute as to the identity of an entrant, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to determine the identity of the entrant.
13. This is a game of skill and chance plays no part in determining the winners. Each entry will be individually judged based on the literary and creative merit of the answer provided to the promotional question in comparison to all other entries received in the relevant group/State. The judging will commence from 12:00pm (noon) AEDST on 30/10/2017 at Roadshow Films, 1 Garden Street, South Yarra, VIC 3141. The judges may select additional reserve entries that they determine to be the next best, and record them in order, in case of an invalid entry or ineligible entrant. Winners will be notified by email. In the event that any provisional winner fails to accept their prize by 9:00am AEDST on 06/11/2017, their entry will be invalidated and they will forfeit any right to the prize. In such a case, the Promoter will notify the next reserve entry that they have won the prize.
14. The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
15. The number of entries corresponding to the number of prizes available to be won in each group/State (as per clause 7), judged to be the best (by the judges in their absolute discretion) in each group, will each win a prize.
16. The prize is a double pass to see Justice League Premiere Screening in their State/Territory valued at $100. Winners will receive entry into the Premiere Screening occurring in their residing State. All costs associated with getting to and from the event are the responsibility of the winner and are not included. Premiere Screenings in each State will take place at the following locations and on the following dates:
• NSW – Event Cinemas George Street (Cinema 1) on 15/11/1017 from 6:30pm.
• VIC – Village Cinemas Crown (Cinema 6) on 15/11/17 from 6:30pm.
• WA – Event Cinemas Innaloo (VMAX 16) on 15/11/17 from 6:15pm.
• QLD- Event Cinemas Myer Centre (VMAX 7) on 15/11/17 from 6:15pm.
17. Each prize is subject to the event venue and terms and conditions, including any applicable age restriction. The Promoter and event organizers hereby expressly reserve the right to eject any winner (and/or any companion) for any inappropriate behaviour, including but not limited to intoxication, whilst participating in any element of the prize. The winner (and any companion) will be responsible for their own transport to and from the event venue and any costs associated.
18. If the winner of a prize is under the age of 18 years, the prize will be awarded to the winner's nominated parent or guardian.
19. The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
20. If for any reason a winner does not take or claim a prize at the time stipulated by the Promoter, then the prize will be forfeited.
21. If a prize is unavailable, the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the prize with a prize to the equal value and/or specification.
22. The total prize pool value is $8,500 in VIC, $8,000 in NSW, $3,000 in WA and $400 in QLD.
23. Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash, unless otherwise specified.
24. Entrants consent to the Promoter using the entrant's name, likeness, image and/or voice in the event they are a winner (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this competition (including any outcome), and promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter.
25. If this promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, including but not limited to technical difficulties, unauthorised intervention or fraud, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law (a) to disqualify any entrant; or (b) to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the promotion, as appropriate.
26. Any cost associated with accessing the competition website is the entrant’s responsibility and is dependent on the Internet service provider used.
27. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limit, exclude or modify or purports to limit, exclude or modify the statutory consumer guarantees as provided under the Competition and Consumer Act, as well as any other implied warranties under the ASIC Act or similar consumer protection laws in the States and Territories of Australia (“Non-Excludable Guarantees”). Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, including the Non-Excludable Guarantees, the Promoter and Partners (including their respective officers, employees and agents) exclude all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the promotion.
28. Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, including the Non-Excludable Guarantees, the Promoter and Partners (including their respective officers, employees and agents) are not responsible for and exclude all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter’s or a Partner’s control); (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (c) any entry or prize that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter or a Partner) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter or a Partner; (d) any variation in prize value to that stated in these Terms and Conditions; (e) if a premiere screening of Justice League is delayed, postponed or cancelled for any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (f) any tax liability incurred by a winner or entrant; or (g) use of a prize.
29. The Promoter collects personal information ("PI") in order to conduct the promotion and may, for this purpose, disclose such PI to the members of the Promoter’s corporate group (which may include but is not limited to Village Roadshow Limited and its subsidiary companies), third parties, including but not limited to agents, contractors, service providers and prize suppliers. Entry is conditional on providing this PI. The Promoter will also use and handle PI as set out in its Privacy Policy, which can be viewed at:

The Promoter (and its corporate group to whom entrants PI will be disclosed) will only use and disclose entrant’s PI in accordance with their respective privacy policies and, if applicable, collection statements. The Promoter (and its corporate groups) to whom personal information is disclosed may use this information for future promotional and marketing purposes regarding their products and services in accordance with their respective privacy policies and, if applicable, collection statements, including contacting entrants via any contact details provided by the entrant without further reference or compensation to the entrant, for an indefinite period or until the entrant opts out. The Promoter’s Privacy Policy contains information about how entrants may opt out, access, update or correct their PI, how entrants may complain about a breach of the Australian Privacy Principles or any other applicable law and how those complaints will be dealt with. All entries become the property of the Promoter. The Promoter will not disclose entrant’s personal information to any entity outside of Australia.
