3.    The competition commences at 6.00 am AEDT on Saturday 30 September 2017 and closes at 11.59 pm AEDT on Thursday 27 October. After this date no further entries will be permitted. No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.

4.    The rules of the competition, including prize details, are as follows:

a. The entrant must purchase a subscription, gift, or renewal to The Saturday Paper in order to enter the competition, and successfully register all required details in the web form provided at:

c.    The entrant must provide a complete answer to the qualifying question to be eligible to go in the draw to win the competition:

Tell us in 25 words or less why the wilderness is worth exploring.

d.    Entries will be judged based on the content and creativity of the response by a panel of judges at The National Library of Australia, Parkes Place, Parkes ACT 2600 on Monday 30 October 2017.

e.    The entry judged by the judges as the most deserving and creative, that complies with the word limit, from all entries received, will be determined the winning entry and eligible to receive the Prize.

f.    The winner will be notified by email and/or phone by 5 pm AEDT on Tuesday 31 October 2017. The winner must claim the prize within 48 hours of the decision of the winning entry. After this period, the Promoters reserve the right to re-judge the competition in the event that the original winner is unable to, or fails to, claim the prize.

g.    By submitting an entry, entrants acknowledge that they have created the response to the question at condition 4c, and grant the Promoter and its licensees and assignees a licence to use and communicate the entrant’s response to the question at condition 4c (the entry) in whole or in part to the public throughout the world on any media platform and for any purpose.
