General Conditions For the purpose of these terms and conditions, ACE Radio Broadcasters
Pty Ltd will be referred to as “The Promoter”.
Entry is open to Victorian residents. Under 18s must have a parent/legal
guardian consent to enter. However employees and relatives of ACE
Radio Broadcasters Pty. Ltd. are ineligible to enter. This includes,
parents, siblings, grandparents, spouses or partners, uncles, aunts,
nieces and nephews of employees.
Participating businesses, including business owners, managers,
employees and their relatives are ineligible to enter at their business. This
includes the parents, siblings, grandparents, spouses or partners, uncles,
aunts, nieces and nephews of employees/employers.
These terms and conditions can be collected at the reception desk of 3HA
- 61 Brown Street, Hamilton, Vic, 3300 and can be downloaded from the
websites 3ha.com.au and mixx889.com.au
Competition Period 1. PROMOTION DATE:
Entries open: 9am on Monday 23rd of October, 2017
Entries close: 6pm on Tuesday 12th of December, 2017
Major Prize Draw: Between 10am and 1.00pm on Saturday 16th of
December, 2017
Entry Method Listeners will be encouraged to shop at any of the participating stores
(see below list) during the promotional period stated above. Upon making
a purchase at any of the participating stores they will receive an entry
form, there is no minimum purchase value. The entry form is to be
completed and placed into the entry barrel located at the business.
Entrants may enter this promotion in accordance with the entry
requirements. Each person may enter only once per business per day.
Multiple registrations will result in the entry being deemed invalid.
Entries will be closed at 6pm on Tuesday 12th of December 2017 and be
collected by the promoter and brought back to the station.
On Wednesday 13th December 2017 at 4pm a 3HA/MixxFM
representative will select an entry at random from each of the barrels
located at the 53 participating businesses.
If the promoter cannot reach the finalist within 24hrs of selecting them on
Wednesday 13th of December at 4pm, the promoter will disqualify the
finalist and re draw a new finalist from the same barrel.
All finalists will then be invited to attend the major draw on Saturday 16th
of December.
Inaudible, incomplete, incomprehensible entries (whichever is applicable)
will not be eligible and will be disqualified. The promoter reserves the right
to disqualify any entry which in the opinion of the promoter includes any
content which may be unlawful, profane, inflammatory, defamatory and/or
damaging to the goodwill or reputation of the promoter.
Any person who is discovered to have used or attempted to use more
than one name in entering the promotion will be disqualified from
participating in the promotion and/or redeeming a prize.
Should an entrant’s contact details change during the promotion period, it
is the entrant’s responsibility to notify the Promoter. A request to access
or modify any information provided in an entry should be directed to the
Promoter.
Conditions Entrants must make a purchase at one of the participating stores
(prescription purchases excluded) in order to be eligible to enter. There is
no minimum purchase value.
Prizes will be transferred to the recipient within 14 days of the Major
Winner providing sufficient ID and Bank Details.
If the prize winner is under the age of 18 years these terms and
conditions must be signed by the prize winner’s parent or legal guardian
before the prize is awarded and the prize may at the absolute discretion
of the Promoter be awarded to the prize winner’s parent or legal guardian.
All prizes are non transferable and non exchangeable. The winner must
show photo identification in the form of the following in order to pick up
the prize:
● Drivers License
● Proof of age card
● Current Passport
● Defence Force Identification Card
In the event that a winner cannot provide suitable proof, the winner will
forfeit the prize in whole and no substitute will be offered. All prizes are
not redeemable for cash.
If a prize winner does not take any element of a prize at the time
stipulated by the Promoter then that element of the prize will be forfeited
by the winner and cash will not be awarded in lieu of that prize or any part
of it.
It will be the winner’s responsibility to take out all relevant insurance
(including but not limited to travel insurance) which may be required or
prudent to be taken (at their own cost).
The Promoter reserves the right to exclude any persons from the
Promotion on the ground of their medical condition or history, for the
safety of the Promoter’s staff members or others or for any other reason,
for example bringing the Promoter’s brand into disrepute. The Promoter
also reserves the right to disqualify contestants if:
(a) a contestant at any stage engages in, causes or incites
physical violence (e.g. punching, slapping), inappropriate, illegal,
unsociable or unsafe behavior; and/or
(b) the safety of any of the Promoter’s staff member is
compromised.
The Promoter will not award the prize if the Promotion is terminated for
whatever reason.
Grand Draw The Grand Draw will take place on Saturday 16th of December 2017
between 10am - 1pm at the Taylor Mazda - 55 Lonsdale Street Hamilton
3300.
A 3HA and Mixx representative will invite finalists to select a random key
when they arrive on the day.
Key’s will be selected in order a finalist arrives. For example, if you are
the 3rd person to arrive for the major draw, you be the 3rd person to pick
a random key.
Once each participant has drawn the key they will come forward in the
order determined by the number on the key and try to open the vehicle by
key.
One key will open the lock winning the major prize - Mazda3 Auto
Hatchback (Neo) with black cloth including all road costs and stamp duty -
$26,248.60 inc GST
The major prize winner can take the car or an instant $20,000 cash (to be
transferred within 14 days to the nominated bank account)
Mazda or take $20,000 cash (to be transferred within 14 days to the
nominated bank account)
Major Prize Details A brand new snowflake white Mazda3 Auto Hatchback (Neo) with black
cloth with all on road costs included - $26,248.60 inc GST
Or $20,000 transferred into nominated bank account.
Proxy Details If a daily car winner cannot attend they may nominate a proxy to try the
key on their behalf. If the winner does not provide a proxy 3HA and Mixx
FM Representative will provide the proxy. A written letter of authority will
be required from any person that chooses to nominate a proxy. In the
case that a person who has been nominated as a proxy is the winner, the
winner will be deemed to be the original key winning recipient.
Notification of

- via telephone; and
- on air at the time of winning,
- All winners published on the Station Website as set out below.
Publication Details Winners will be published on the Station Website for a minimum of 28
days from Tuesday 18th of December 2017
