If you recognise our November issue coverkid this month, then you must be a dedicated cult follower of Netflix’s smash hit, ‘Stranger Things’. To mark the show’s second season which has just kicked off, we’re giving one reader a chance to win a $100 Netflix gift card.
Gaten Matarazzo, our 15-year-old November cover child, is one of the show’s stars. He plays Dustin, the curly haired, completely lovable, hilariously sweet, choc-pudding-loving kid, making up the tight-knit group of four mates who are central to the story.
One of Gaten’s defining characteristics in the show, his lisp, is actually the effect of Cleidocranial Dysplasia (CCD), a rare genetic condition he was born with that affects the development of bones and teeth. He has no collarbones and still has his baby teeth, which causes that ‘Dustin’ lisp.

Between its nostalgic blasts from the past and the sci-fi suspense that dominated ’80s film, Stranger Things got us thinking about our own childhoods. To mark the show’s second season which has just kicked off, we’re giving one reader a chance to win a $100 Netflix gift card.
To enter, answer this question:
“What element of your childhood would you bring back?”
It could be a toy, a tradition, a recipe – anything!
Your answer and first name may be used in a future CHILD Magazines digital or print magazine story. Stay tuned!
