TREETOPS PLAZA - SHOP AND WIN COMPETITION
TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF ENTRY
Information on how to enter and the prize, form part of the terms and conditions.
The Shop and Win competition runs from 9am Sunday 3 October 2017 to 5pm Sunday 31
December 2017
All entries are to be placed in the barrel located in Centre Court.
The competition is open to anyone who spends $25 or more in any specialty store located in
Treetops Plaza Shopping Centre; or $50 or more at Coles or Liquorland in Treetops Plaza
during the period of the competition.
To enter fill out one of the entry forms with your name, phone, email and postcode, attach
your participating receipt and place it in any one of the entry boxes located within the centre.
Entry is open to residents of Australia who are 18 years and over.
Tenants, their staff, the staff of Centre Management and their immediate family are ineligible
to enter the competition.
Entries close at 5pm on Sunday 31 December 2017. Prize drawn 15 January 2018
Total value of the prize is gift cards with Cruiseabout to the value of $6,000. Cruiseabout
T&Cs apply see attached.
Winners can travel at any time in the twelve (12) months following the date the prize is
drawn.
Winners will be contacted by a representative of the Promoter to arrange the details of their
prize and proof of identity will be required. The winner agrees to a minimum of 2 photos of
the prize collection for Treetops Plaza promotional material, including print and online. This
will be taken upon collection of prize.
The winner/s (and their companion/s) are responsible for all other expenses including, meals
(unless specified), drinks, transfers (unless specified), laundry charges, activities (unless
specified), incidentals, taxes (excluding departure and any other flight associated taxes
included within the prize), energy surcharges, gratuities, services charges, passports, visas,
travel insurance and all other ancillary costs. Travel insurance is highly recommended to
protect against the additional costs incurred in the event of unforeseen circumstances.
The winner/s and their travelling companions must travel at the same time and are
responsible for transport from their residence to the port of departure.
A credit card imprint or cash deposit may be required from the winner at check-in, for all
incidental charges.
It is the travellers personal responsibility to ensure that they have valid documentation,
including but not limited to valid passports and visas, which meet the requirements of
immigration and other government authorities at every destination. Any fines, penalties,
payments or expenditures incurred as a result of such documents not meeting the
requirements of those authorities will be the sole responsibility of the traveller/s.
The Promoter makes no representation as to the safety, conditions or other issues that may
exist at any destination. International travel advice can be obtained from various sources,
including government, local consular offices and the web site of the Australian Department
of Foreign Affairs and Trade
Prizes are not variable or transferable (unless otherwise specified). Prizes are not
redeemable for cash. The Promoters decision is final and binding - no correspondence will
be entered into. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for late, lost or misdirected entries
or other communications. Entries will be deemed void if illegitimate, forged, manipulated or
tampered with in any way.
In the event that any prize (or any part of the prize) becomes unavailable for reasons beyond
the Promoters control, the Promoter may substitute a prize (or the relevant part of a prize)
with a prize of equal or greater value, subject to any written directions from the various
lottery authorities.
The Promoter reserves the right to request verification of age, identity, residential address of
winners and any other information relevant to entry into or participation in this promotion.
Verification is at the discretion of the Promoter, whose decision is final. The Promoter
reserves the right to disqualify any individual who submits an entry that is not in accordance
with these terms and conditions, or who is involved in any way in interfering or tampering
with the conduct of this promotion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights does
not constitute a waiver of those rights.
The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss, damage or injury suffered (even if caused by
negligence) as a result of accepting and/or using a prize, except for any liability which cannot
be excluded by law.
The Promoter assumes no responsibility for any failure to receive an entry or for inaccurate
information or for any loss, damage or injury as a result of technical or telecommunications
problems, including security breaches. If such problems arise, then the Promoter may
(where necessary with the approval of the relevant lottery authority) modify, cancel,
terminate or suspend the promotion.
Entrants consent to the Promoter using their name, likeness, image and/or voice in the event
that they are a winner in any media for an unlimited period of time without remuneration for
the purpose of promoting this promotion (including any outcome) and/or promoting any
products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter.
All entries agree to subscribe to Treetops Plaza database and receive relevant marketing
communication from Treetops Plaza. Database members can choose to unsubscribe at any
time. Treetops Plaza and their tenants may send you material on special offers, news
updates and marketing material to the contact details specified on the entry form. Subscriber
contact details will not be provided or sold to any company not related to Treetops Plaza.
The promoter of the competition is Treetops Plaza Shopping Centre 7 Classic Way, Burleigh
Waters.
