Entry into the Skobi Back to School Competition(Competition) is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
This Competition is promoted by Foot Keepers PtyLtd, trading as Skobi (ACN 48 121 133 391) (Promoter).
The Competition is a game of skill, and chanceplays no part in determining the winner.
Eligibility to Enter
Entry is open to residents of Australia only whoare aged 18 years or over. Entrants who are not 18 years of age must haveparental or guardian approval to enter the Competition and parents andguardians must read and consent to these Terms and Conditions before entry. Toprove that entrants who are not 18 years of age have consent to enter parentsand guardians may be required to enter into a further agreement.
Entrants must have a Facebook account to enter.
Employees, and their immediate families(immediate family means spouse/partner, child or step-child (natural or byadoption), parent, or sibling), of the Promoter and its associated brands andcompanies connected with this Competition are not eligible to enter.
Competition Commencement and Close

Incomprehensible and incomplete entries will bedeemed invalid.
Entrants in the Competition may enter as many times as they like. The Promoter reserves the right to request awinner to provide proof of identity, proof of residency at the nominated prizedelivery address and/or proof of entry validity (including phone bill) in orderto claim a prize. Proof of identification, residency and entry consideredsuitable for verification is at the discretion of the Promoter. In the eventthat a winner cannot provide suitable proof, the winner will forfeit the prizein whole and no substitute will be offered.
The Promoter reserves the right to verify thevalidity of entries and to disqualify in its sole discretion any entry which,in the opinion of Promoter, includes objectionable content, profanity,potentially insulting, inflammatory or defamatory statements, disqualify anyentrant who tampers with the entry process, who submits an entry that is not inaccordance with these Terms and Conditions or who has, in the opinion ofPromoter, engaged in conduct that is unlawful, fraudulent, misleading,deceptive or generally damaging to the goodwill or reputation of the Promoteror the Competition in entering this Competition. The Promoter reserves theright in its sole discretion to disqualify a winner if Promoter becomes awarethat the winner and/or the winner's entry is of a type described in thisclause. The Promoter's legal rights to recover damages or other compensationfrom such an offender are reserved.
Entries must be received by 24 December, 2017 at11.59pm (AEST). The time of entry will in each case be the time the writtenresponse is submitted. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any late,lost or misdirected entries including delays in the sending of the writtenresponse due to technical disruptions, network congestion or for any otherreason. Facebook posts generated by a computer and not attributable to a validFacebook account are invalid and will not be accepted.
Eachentrant in the Competition releases and indemnifies, to the fullest extentpermissible by law, the Promoter and other organisers, their related bodiescorporate, affiliates, officers, agents and employees, from all liabilities,loss and damage of any kind arising at any time out of or in connection withentry into this Competition. Without limiting the foregoing, the releasedparties will not be liable for any injury, sickness or death, property loss ordamage or other direct or indirect loss or damage of any kind, howsoeversustained or incurred, in connection with or arising out of entry into the Competition.To remove doubt these Terms and Conditions do not exclude or limit consumerguarantees provided in the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth).
By entering this Competition, entrants acceptand acknowledge full responsibility for their decision to participate in theprize should they be chosen as a winner. Each winner releases and indemnifies,to the fullest extent permissible by law, the Promoter and other organisers,their related bodies corporate, affiliates, officers, agents and employees, fromall liabilities, loss and damage of any kind arising at any time out of or inconnection with the acceptance of, and participation in, the prize. Withoutlimiting the foregoing, the released parties not be liable for any injury,sickness or death, property loss or damage or other direct or indirect loss ordamage of any kind, howsoever sustained or incurred, in connection with orarising out of the prize or any other aspect of the prize. The cost of entering the Competition will bedependent on the entrant's individual Internet Service Provider.
The winner will receive a $1000 Visa Gift Cardand two pairs of Skobi school shoes.
The total price pool is valued up to $1309.90(Recommended Retail Price including GST), being $1000 for the Visa Gift Cardand 2 pairs of Skobi school shoes, the calculation of the prize amount for theSkobi school shoes is based the largest size of the highest priced style Skobischool shoe, and the entrants acknowledge and agree that the value of the Skobischool shoe price pool may be less than $309.90 based on the style of Skobischool shoe chosen and the size of the child’s foot for whom the Skobi schoolshoe is chosen. Prize values are based upon the recommended retail prices atthe time of publishing (inclusive of GST). The Promoter accepts noresponsibility for change in prize value between now and the ultimate prizeredemption date.
If the prize is unavailable, for whateverreason, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize for a prize ofequal or greater value.
In consideration for the Promoter awarding theprize to the winner, the winner hereby consents being identified as the winnerof the prize and consents to the winner's name, image and/or voice, asrecorded, photographed or filmed during the winner's participation in the prizeand in the Competition to appear in connection with the Promoter or theadvertising or marketing thereof, in any media whatsoever throughout the worldand the winner will not be entitled to any fee for such use.
Prizes are non-transferable In the event thatfor any reason whatsoever a winner does not take the prize or an element of theprize at the time stipulated by the Promoter then that prize or that element ofthe prize will be forfeited by the winner and cash will not be awarded in lieuof that prize or an element of that prize.
Each valid entrant will be judged by a selectedjudging panel from the Skobi marketing team. Entries will be judged by the Skobimarketing team on the creativity of the answers/ captions. The winner will benotified by 2nd January, 2018.
Prizes will only be awarded to the accountholder of the entry mechanism used to submit their entry (i.e. Facebook accountholder). The winner will therefore be, in each case, the account holder.
Notification will be provided to the winner bythe Promoter placing a comment on the entrants winning photo together withinstructions on how to claim your prize.
Should an entrant's contact details changeduring the promotional period, it is the entrant's responsibility to notify thePromoter. A request to access or modify any information provided in an entryshould be directed to Promoter.
Subject to any direction given under relevantState legislation, an unclaimed prize any unclaimed prize will be awarded torunner up as determined in the initial judging of the Competition on 31 January,2017.
The Promoter's decision is final and thepromoter will not enter into correspondence regarding the Competition result.
It is a condition of accepting the prize thatthe winner must comply with all the conditions of use of the prize and theprize supplier's requirements.
To the fullest extent permitted by law thePromoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which issuffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or forany personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with any prize/s exceptfor any liability which cannot be excluded by law. The Promoter is notresponsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, either caused by theFacebook user or for any of the equipment or programming associated with orutilised in this Competition, or for any technical error, or any combinationthereof that may occur in the course of the administration of this Competitionincluding any omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation ortransmission, communications line or telephone, mobile or satellite networkfailure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to or alteration ofentries.
This Competition may be cancelled, modified orsuspended if an event occurs that significantly impedes the Competition fromproceeding on the dates and in the manner described in these Terms andConditions, including but not limited to vandalism, power failures, computerviruses, technical failure, severe weather events, natural disasters, acts ofGod, civil unrest, strike, war, act of terrorism, the Promoter may in itsabsolute discretion cancel the Competition and recommence it from the start onthe same conditions, suspend or modify the Competition subject to any relevantlaw or instruction provided by the relevant regulator.
If for any reason this Competition is notcapable of running as planned, including due to infection by computer virus,bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or anycauses beyond the control of the Promoter, which have the effect of affectingor corrupting affect the security, administration or integrity of thisCompetition (Interference), then in relation to the Interference the Promoterreserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual whotampers with the entry process, to take any action that may be available, andto cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Competition, subject to any directiongiven under State Regulation.
The Promoter and their associated agencies andcompanies assume no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption,deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications linefailure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to, or alteration ofentries, and reserves the right to take any action that may be available.
