Conditions of entry

• Receipt of entries in the competition commences Wednesday 1 November 2017 at 12.01am and closes Wednesday 31 January 2018 at 11.59pm.
• To enter, purchase any product at Abbey’s Bookshop and 1) if in-store: place your completed entry form in the entry box or 2) if online, enter the promotion code ALADDIN in the promotion code field when placing your order.
• Entrants will be added into our free Reward Points loyalty program.
• Entry is only open to retail customers - not account or institutional customers.
• The promoter is Abbey’s Bookshops Pty Ltd, 131 York Street, Sydney NSW 2000. Phone 02 9264 3111.
• The promoter’s business directors, management and employees, their immediate families, their retailers, suppliers, associated companies and agencies cannot participate in the draw.
• Entry is only eligible to residents of Australia and the minimum age of entrants is 18.
• You can enter as many times as you want but only one entry per transaction and one entry per day.
• The total prize value of $1000 consists of five Gift Vouchers for $200 each redeemable at any of our 3 stores: Abbey’s Bookshop, Language Book Centre and Galaxy Bookshop. The voucher is not redeemable for cash.
• Five winners will be drawn at random by Abbey’s Bookshop staff on Thursday 15 February 2018.
• You consent to us publishing your name as the winner of the prize.
• The results of the competition will be published on the abbeys.com.au website from Friday 16 February 2018.
• The prize-winners will be notified within 2 working days of the draw via email or phone and the voucher will be posted to winners within 2 weeks after the draw.
• If winners are not contactable and the prize remains unclaimed, a second chance draw will take place by Thursday 1 March 2018 at Abbey’s Bookshop, 131 York Street Sydney.
• Vouchers have an expiry date of 2 years from the date of issue and can be transferred to another person. If a winner loses their voucher, it is not refundable.
