Feel like shaking up your usual lunch game? Here at this Brunswick Street restaurant, your midday meal comes in the form of light and crunchy dosas stuffed with smoky eggplant, banana leaf fish fry and platefuls of aromatic rice biryani.
Earlier this year, this Fitzroy favourite (which took out Best Cheap Eat at the 2016 Time Out Food Awards) launched their lunch menu. For a limited time, Mukka is giving you the chance to enjoy lunch on the house with five friends (including drinks), valued at $350.
More lunch favourites include thali: a seasonally changing selection of small morsels, including curry and something sweet. Alternatively, try the South Indian idli sambar: savoury cakes made from a batter or black lentils and rice, served with eggplant and zucchini lentil soup.
