Entry Period
Entries open Friday 1 December 2017 and close Sunday 31 December 2017.
Weekly draws each Friday in December: 8, 15, 22 & 29.

The winners will be notified by phone and email within 2 business days of being drawn. The name and suburb and state of the winner will be published on the newcastlenow.org.au website and social media pages.

Eligibility
Entry is open to entrants 18 years of age or over.
Employees, volunteers and committee members of Newcastle Business Improvement Association and their immediate family members are ineligible to enter.
Employees of ‘participating’ businesses are ineligible to enter for transactions made at their place of employment, however they may enter through transactions at other participating businesses where they are not an employee.
Entry Period
Entries open at 9:00am on Friday 1 December 2017 and close at 12:00am (midnight) on 31 December 2017.
How to Enter
To enter, eligible entrants must spend $20.00 or more at participating Newcastle city businesses to receive an entry ticket with a unique code. A full list of participating businesses can be found on the website newcastlenow.org.au.
To complete an entry, the eligible entrant is required to complete an online form at
www.newcastlenow.org.au that includes fields for their name, phone, email address, postcode, the name of business where purchase was made and a unique entry code.
Entrants may enter more than once, however, there is a limit of one entry per unique code number.
Entry Conditions
Information on how to enter the competition forms part of these terms and conditions of entry. Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions.
It is a condition of entry that the entrant consents to the Promoter using the entrant’s name, likeness, image and/or voice in the event they are a winner of a prize (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period without remuneration for the purpose of the competition and promoting any products and services.
By entering the competition, an entrant releases and indemnifies the Promoter (including its officers, employees and agents) from and against all actions, liabilities, penalties, claims or demands the entrant may have against the Promoter or that the Promoter may incur for any loss or damage which is or may be suffered or sustained as a direct or indirect result of an entrant entering or participating in the competition or winning or failing to win a prize or using or permitting any other person to use the prize expect for any liability which cannot be excluded by law or which would cause any part of this clause to be void or unenforceable.

All prize draws will be conducted at the Promoter’s premises by an independent person on the dates and times listed below. Entrants do not need to be present at the prize draws.
The major prize will be drawn at 10.00am on Friday 5 January 2018.
One minor prize will be drawn each week on the following dates:

Prize Bundle B - Friday 15 December 2017 10.00am (for all entries received between 1 December 2017 and midnight Thursday 14 December 2017).

Prize Bundle D - Friday 29 December 2017 10.00am (for all entries received between 1 December 2017 and midnight Thursday 28 December 2017).
The winners will be notified by phone and/or email within 2 business days of being selected. The name and postcode of the winner will be published on the
www.newcastlenow.org.au website and social media pages.
Collection of prizes will be from Newcastle Now premises 1/137 King Street, Newcastle NSW 2280 unless, authorised by the Promoter through another method.
All prizes must be claimed by 31 January 2018. Failure to claim the prize within this timeframe will result in the prize being forfeited and the Promoter may draw another winner for the prize subject to any approval or directions of a relevant regulatory authority.
All prizes in the form of vouchers and gift cards must be redeemed by 30 June 2018.
The Promoter reserves the right to draw additional reserve entries at each draw and record them in case of an invalid entry or ineligible entrant is drawn or the prize is not claimed.
Prizes unless otherwise specified are not exchangeable or transferrable and cannot be redeemed for cash.
The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries, prize claims and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry or prize claim that is not in accordance with the entry process.
The Promoter’s decision is final and no other correspondence will be entered into.
