If you’ve been thinking of heading to Melbourne for White Night – the city’s 12-hour overnight art adventure – then you’re in luck: we might just send you there for free as part of an action-packed weekend filled with world-class dining and drinking, and art tours for art-lovers.
Thanks to Visit Victoria, our winner will receive flights for two to Melbourne and two nights’ accommodation (Feb 16-18). Your weekend will centre around White Night – the all-night festival of projection art, installations, live music and endless surprises. Your arty weekend will continue with a private tour at the mammoth NGV Triennial, where you’ll get the inside word on key works in the exhibition – and then you'll take home an exhibition publication, valued at $59.95.
Of course, no trip to Melbourne is complete without killer dining. You’ll be treated to a $200 meal and VIP experience to Peruvian laneway restaurant Pastuso, which will include a mini pisco introduction, ceviche tasting and charcoal lunch hosted by chef and owner Alejandro Saravia. In the evening, head down to riverside bar Arbory, where you’ll be given the VIP treatment on pop-up pontoon bar Arbory Afloat.
