Terms & Conditions
How to Enter Details:
Consumers must purchase any two of the Bickford’s branded Cordials or Juice products during the
Promotional Period from a Participating Outlet and either complete the online competition entry
form at
www.bickfords.net/competition or by mailing a completed in-store tear form. Entries will be
considered valid only when received through the entry page on the Bickfords.net website or via the
posted entry form. Entry is open to purchases of Bickford’s Cordials or Bickford’s Premium Juices at
the nominated Foodland SA outlets only. A maximum of two entries per person are permitted so
long as each entry includes the completed entry form and separate receipt(s). Prizes comprise a
major prize of an 8 night’s cruise aboard the P&O’s Pacific Aria for two from Darwin to Singapore
including one night’s Singapore accommodation, a $1,000 Flight voucher and transfers included,
valued at $4,238, and minor prizes of five x $500 travel vouchers with Holidays of Australia and the
World, valued at $2,500. Entrants must be over 18 to enter.
Terms & Conditions of Entry:
1. Information on how to enter and prizes forms part of these Conditions of Entry. All applicable
laws and regulations apply.
2. Entry is only open to residents of South Australia aged 18 years and older. The Promoter, the
Participating Outlets and their agencies associated with this promotion and each of their
employees, immediate family members and persons living in the same household (whether
related or not) are ineligible to enter.
3. Winners will be drawn randomly by the Promoter at 162 Cross Keys Road, Salisbury South SA 5106.
The draw will take place at 11am ACDT, Monday the 26th of February 2018 The winners will be
contacted in writing by post and by phone and/ or email and arrangements made for the
redemption of the prize via Holidays of Australia and the World. Winners will be published in The
Adelaide Advertiser on Monday the 5th of March 2018.
4. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and reserves the right to disqualify
any entrant for tampering with the entry process or for submitting an entry that is not in
accordance with these Conditions of Entry.
5. The promotion begins at 9.00am on 15th January 2018 and closes at 11.59pm on18th February
2018 (“Promotional Period”). Winners will be notified before 28th February 2018 and will have 60
days to claim their prize. Entries received after competition close on 18th February 2018 will not
be included in the draw.
6. During the Promotional Period, the promotion will only be conducted in Foodland Stores in South
Australia (“Participating Outlets”) comprising of 118 outlets on the dates outlined in clause 5 and
only while stocks last.
7. There is 1 major prize to be won as outlined in clause 8 of these Terms and Conditions which is
valued at $4,238. There are 5 minor prizes being Holidays of Australia and the World vouchers to
be won valued at $500 each. The Promotion prize pool total is $6,738.
8. The major prize includes;
8 nights for two (2) adults aboard the P&O’s Pacific Aria cruise ship in a twin share balcony
cabin sailing from Darwin to Singapore, departing 26th July 2018;
1 nights’ accommodation in Singapore for two (2) adults at the Rendezvous Hotel;
One way transfer included in Singapore between the cruise terminal and the Rendezvous
Hotel, including a Singapore Sights City Tour;
Return economy flight for 2 people from Singapore to Darwin;
Flight voucher up to the value of $1,000.
Additional spending money, flight charges in excess of $1,000, transfers, travel insurance,
meals, items of a personal nature, in-room charges and all other ancillary costs are not
included. Further it will be the responsibility of the major prize winner and their companion,
at their cost, to make their own way to Darwin to board the P&O cruise and to make their
own way back to their place of residence from Darwin at completion of the trip. The Flight
Centre voucher is intended to be used for that purpose. Any prize that cannot be taken on
the date so nominated in these Terms and Conditions or as otherwise stated by the Promoter
will be forfeited. It is the responsibility of the prize winner to hold a valid Australian passport
with a minimum 6 months validity at the time of travel.
9. The prize values are the recommended retail values as provided by the supplier and are correct
at the time of printing and the Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in the prize
values.
10. If the prize/s are not claimed within 60 days of the winners being notified by email and by post, a
new winner will be drawn by the Promoter in the same manner as the original prize draw and at
the same location on Thursday 3 May 2018, and the new winner(s) will be notified at that time by
post and either by email or by phone by 12 May 2018. Subject to the unclaimed prize draw
referred to herein, if for any reason a winner does not take a prize (or an element of the prize),
then the prize (or that element of the prize) will be forfeited. Redrawn winner(s) will be published
in The Adelaide Advertiser on Monday the 21 May 2018.
11. If for any reason the Promotion is not capable of running as planned for reasons beyond the
control of the Promoter, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to cancel, terminate,
modify or suspend the promotion.
12. By entering, you acknowledge and agree that you have read, consented to and complied with,
and will be bound by, these Conditions of Entry. You further agree that the decisions of Promoter
will be final and binding in all matters relating to the Promotion. The Promoter and its directors,
employees, representatives and agents shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever
which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for personal injury
which is suffered or sustained, as a result of accepting or using any of the prizes, except for any
liability which cannot be excluded by law. To the extent permitted at law, you release and
discharge the Promoter and its directors, employees, representatives and agents from any and
all actions, claims, proceedings, damages, costs and expenses arising out of or in connection
with the Promotion and/or the prizes. As a condition of accepting the prize, the winner (and their
companion) of the major prize must sign a Deed of Release in the form required by the Promoter
reflecting the release referred to in these Terms and Conditions.
13. The prize cannot be used or redeemed in conjunction with any other promotion or offer and is
not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash. Promoter may substitute a prize
of equal or greater value due to prize availability.
14. Promotional materials will be regarded as void if stolen, forged, mutilated or tampered with in
any way. The Promoter will not be responsible for any late, lost, misdirected entries, or incomplete
or incorrect entrant details. Incomplete, ineligible, incorrect and incomprehensible entries will be
deemed invalid and will not be included in the judging. All entries are deemed to have been
received at the time of receipt by the Participating Outlet.
15. The Promoter collects entrants’ personal information in order to conduct the promotion. If the
information requested is not provided, the entrant may not participate in the promotion. By
entering the promotion, unless otherwise advised, each entrant also agrees that all entries
become the property of the Promoter and the Promoter may use this information, or disclose it
to other organisations that may use it, in any media for future promotional, marketing and
publicity purposes without any further reference, payment or other compensation to the entrant.
In particular entrants’ information will be provided to the supplier of the major prize, being
Holidays of Australia and the World. The collection, use and disclosure of personal information
provided in connection with this competition is governed by the Promoter’s Privacy Notice found
at
www.bickfords.net In addition, entrants’ personal information may be disclosed to State and
Territory lottery departments and winners’ names published as required under the relevant lottery
legislation. A request to access, update or correct any information should be directed to the
Promoter at their address set out below.
