To Kill a Mockingbird (TKAM) is an award-winning 1962 flick (based on of the book you were probably made to read in grade 10 English) and has been labelled as one of the greatest movies of the 20th century.
It tells the tale of six-year-old Scout Finch and her big bro Jem who are living in Alabama with their father Atticus (played by Gregory Peck), a respected lawyer set to defend African-American man Tom Robinson on rape allegations. Top it all off with a creepy, reclusive neighbour Boo Radley, it’s a must-see for anyone who considers themselves a cultural connoisseur of the silver screen. There’s a reason the movie won three Academy Awards, and if you win these tickets, you also get a free glass of bubbly!
