The Zoo Twilights 2018 season is in full swing and we're giving away four tickets and two Premium Hampers to see Grizzly Bear live at Melbourne Zoo on Friday 9 March.
The competition opens 10am Wednesday 7 February 2018 and closes 8pm Sunday 18 February 2018. The winner will be drawn on Wednesday 21 February 2018 and notified by email. By entering the competition, you agree to the terms and conditions.
About the competition
This is a game of chance.
The promoter is Zoos Victoria, ABN 969-139-590-53
The competition is open to current residents of Australia who are over the age of 18, other than Zoos Victoria board members, employees, and their immediate families.
Zoos Victoria reserves the right to require an entrant to produce identification and / or proof of age. "Immediate Family" of a person means the parents, siblings, children, and spouse or partner (whether legal or de facto) of that person.
The competition opens 10am Wednesday 7 February 2018 and closes 8pm Sunday 18 February May 2018. Entries received before or after this will be removed from the draw.
Submitting an entry
To enter the competition, you must submit your details correctly via the competition web form available at
www.zoo.org.au/enews/competition during the competition period.
Valid details must be entered in order to be eligible to enter the competition.
For an entry to be deemed valid, it must include your Name, Email Address, Contact Phone Number and Post Code. Entries with missing details will be deemed invalid and removed from the draw.
Zoos Victoria reserves the right to disqualify any entrant for tampering with the entry process or attempting to act in a fraudulent or dishonest manner.
Entries will become the property of Zoos Victoria and will not be returned.
Entry is valid only to those residing within Australia.
Selecting the winner(s)
The winner will be drawn at random on Wednesday 21 February 2018 at the offices of Zoos Victoria and notified by email. The winner's details (first initial and surname) will be published on the Zoos Victoria website at
www.zoo.org.au/competition-winnersThe winner must acknowledge receipt of Zoos Victoria’s email by 9am Wednesday 28 February. Zoos Victoria will make reasonable attempts during this period to contact the winner. Failure to claim the prize by this date will result in a redraw on Thursday 1 March 2018 and the original winner will not be entitled to any supplementary prize or benefit.
Only one entry per email address will be accepted. Additional entries will be removed from the draw.
The judges’ draw is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
Prize details
The prize is for four (4) tickets and two (2) Premium Hampers to Grizzly Bear at Melbourne Zoo's Zoo Twilights on Friday 9 March 2018.
The four tickets and two Premium Hampers are valued at a total of AU$531.40
The general admission to Healesville Sanctuary is valid for one day of entry between 10-12 June 2017. The winner will be provided with four complimentary adult general admission passes that must be presented upon entry to Healesville Sanctuary.
Unless otherwise stated, all other costs associated with the prize, including but not limited to spending money, meals, travel, insurance, cancellation fees and all other ancillary costs are the responsibility of the winner.
The prize is not transferable, not refundable or redeemable for cash. The prize cannot be sold, auctioned or given away (i.e. one of the persons that collects the prize must be the person drawn in the competition). The Promoter takes no responsibility for any variations in prize values. The winner must be available to attend the event on one of the event days from 10-12 June 2017 in order to redeem their prize.
Some products in the hamper may include allergens such as milk, nuts, soy, and gluten.
Zoos Victoria will not be liable for any direct, indirect, special or consequential loss or damage caused, or suffered by the winner, or for any personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with the competition or the prize except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
Claiming the prize
Upon acknowledging receipt, the tickets and hamper vouchers will be emailed to the winner's nominated email address. The winner will be able to pre-select Classic or Vegetarian hampers with their choice of Morgan's Bay wine; Sparkling Cuvee, Semillon Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Cabernet Merlot, or Shiraz Cabernet.
The tickets must be presented at the gate in order to receive entry to the concert. The hampers must be collected from Melbourne Zoo's Leopard Lodge on the night of the concert upon presentation of hamper vouchers.
Entry in this competition shall be deemed to be an acknowledgement and acceptance of these terms and conditions.

When you submit an entry, Zoos Victoria collects your name, postal code, phone number and your email address. Your details are kept private and only used for the purpose of contacting you, should you be the winner in this competition.
