Terms and conditions
1. Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these conditions of entry. Entry into the promotion is deemed acceptance of these conditions of entry.
2. Entry is open to any person residing in Australia and is aged 18 years or over. Employees of the Promoter (Museums Victoria), its associated companies and agencies associated with this promotion and their immediate families are ineligible to enter.
3. Promotional Period - The promotion commences at 12:01am (AEST) on 013 November 2017 and closes at 11:59pm (AEST) on 22nd March 2018 ("Promotional Period"). Any entries received outside of this period will be deemed invalid. No responsibility is accepted for late, lost, delayed or misdirected entries.
4. To enter the promotion the entrant must purchase a ticket/s via the Melbourne Museum website to the exhibition "Vikings- Beyond the Legend" at Melbourne Museum. All eligible transactions will receive one entry per transaction and valid email address.
5. The draw will take place at 2.00pm (AEST) on Friday 30 March 2018 at Melbourne Museum, 11 Nicholson Street, Carlton, VIC 3053.
6. After the end of the Competition Period, Museums Victoria will randomly select a winner from among the entries to the Competition. The Prize Winner will be awarded:
50 Degrees North will provide a trip for two on our Danish Viking self- drive 7-day tour including Copenhagen stay and return economy flights for two to Copenhagen return. Value estimated at $9700.
INCLUSIONS:

8. Prize validity is 12 months from the date of the applicable draw.
9. Luggage and weight restrictions apply and promoter will not accept responsibility for loss or damage to baggage and personal items, personal illness or injury, medical expenses, cancellation or curtailment of your trip.
10. Flight Terms and Conditions:
Each ticket awarded is valid for one return economy (round trip) journey only, travelling between Melbourne and Copenhagen with 50 Degrees North nominated airline.
Any taxes or other charges applicable to these tickets, including fuel surcharges, Advanced Seat Reservation charges and excess baggage charges must be paid by the Prize Winner. Indicatory taxes and fuel surcharges payable per ticket are AU$565.98 per person. Airline taxes vary considerably and promoter will communicate different options to prize-winner. This is correct as at 23 November 2017. These are subject to change due to increases and currency fluctuation. Final taxes payable will be advised at time of booking.
These tickets are not eligible for the accrual of miles or any associated frequent flyer program points or miles.
The tickets are valid for travel exclusively to the destinations stated in the body of this letter and exclude all codeshare flights. Rerouting is not permitted after the tickets are issued.

11. By accepting these tickets, the prize-winner agrees with the booking terms and conditions of travel with the promoter and the nominated airline. Museums Victoria will nominate the airline.
12. Prize may only be redeemed by providing relevant confirmation email from Melbourne Museum when collecting prize.
13. Decisions of the Promoter regarding the winning of prizes are final and will be binding. No correspondence or communications will be entered into.
14. The winner will be notified by phone and in writing (email) within 2 working days of the draw date and their name and locality will be published on the Melbourne Museum Website and Facebook Page on 31 March 2018.
15. No prize or part thereof can be transferred or redeemed for cash. In the event that the prize becomes unavailable due to circumstances beyond the Museums Victoria’s control, Museums Victoria reserves the right to provide a similar product to the same or greater value as the original prize.
16. The Prize Winner will have 48 hours to confirm they will be accepting the prize. If no confirmation is received after 48 hours the prize will be offered to another entrant.
17. To the extent permitted by law, Museums Victoria will not be liable for any injury, damages, expenses, or loss whatsoever (whether direct or inconsequential) to persons or property as a result of any person entering into the Competition or accepting or using any prize,
