If so, you may be just the inspirational writer we are looking for.
The Senior Traveller, in association with Jetstar, is looking for a senior to "Do the NT" and travel to Darwin on a four-night Jetstar holiday package and share their adventure.
To be considered for this competition, tell us in no more than 300 words about a memorable trip you took recently. Send us a photograph or two and tell us a little bit about yourself in no more than 100 words.
The winner and a companion will be winging their way to the Northern Territory with Jetstar to enjoy a four-night get-away in Darwin valued at $3500 including flights, accommodation, transfers and breakfasts.
They will enjoy a wonderful Wallaroo day tour to discover Litchfield National Park and the Adelaide River's famous jumping crocodiles as well as a five-hour Darwin City Explorer Tour taking in the best sights in and around Darwin with Tour Tub.
The tropical harbour city is a perfect holiday destination because of its vibrant yet relaxed outdoor lifestyle. Surrounded by the beauty of Litchfield National Park, World Heritage-listed Kakadu, remote Arnhem Land and the Tiwi Islands, the city has colourful markets, an outdoor cinema, al-fresco dining and diverse events and festivals, as well as great summer storms and brilliant sunsets.
On returning from the Territory, the winner will pen an article to be published in Jetstar's inflight magazine and website and to be shared on the airline's social media platforms.
The prize must be taken by July 31 this year.

The prize, total value of $3500, includes a return trip to Darwin for two people, including two Jetstar return economy Starter airfares to Darwin from Adelaide, Brisbane, Cairns, Melbourne (Tullamarine), Sydney airports (inclusive of airfare related taxes, charges and a maximum of 20kg luggage allowance for each traveller).
If the winner does not reside in Adelaide, Brisbane, Cairns, Melbourne or Sydney, he/she will also receive return economy Jetstar Starter airfares from their nearest Jetstar port in Australia to the closest port out of Adelaide, Brisbane, Cairns, Melbourne or Sydney, to connect to the direct Darwin flight.
Four nights' accommodation at a minimum 3-star property in Darwin, including breakfast and transfers from Darwin airport to the accommodation up to a value of $1500.

The prize does not include travel insurance, passports, visas, meals (unless specified), taxes not included in the price of the ticket, ground transportation or any other costs of a personal nature.
Prize travel and accommodation is subject to availability at the time of booking. The winner and their companion must travel together on all prize travel and will not accrue Qantas Points on any element of the prize. An upgrade cannot be purchased on airfares with cash or Qantas Points.
