TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. Information on how to enter the Promotion and the prize form part of these Conditions of Entry.
2. Entry into this Promotion is deemed to be acceptance of these Conditions of Entry.
The Promotion is open to individuals who:
(a) are an Australian resident and
(b) must be over 18 years of age; and
(c) are not employees (or immediate family of such employees) of the Promoter, or any of its related corporations or any of the agencies associated with the Promotion (including suppliers of the prize); and
(d) have not been discovered to have breached Conditions of Entry of previous contests run by the Promoter,
(“Entrants”).
An immediate family member means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child, parent, step-parent, grandparent, step- grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or 1st cousin.
3. By entering this Promotion, Eligible Participants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and to disqualify any Entrant who tampers with the entry process or who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Conditions of Entry. It is condition of entry that Eligible Participants are able to accept the prizes as stated. Inability to accept a prize as stated, on the dates indicated, will deem the participant an ineligible entrant and any prize won will be forfeited.
4. All prices stated are in Australian dollars, represent the recommended retail price (“RRP”) and include GST. All references to times and dates are to times and dates in Sydney, which may be Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST) or Australian Eastern Daylight-Saving Time (AEDT) depending on the date. All times are stated using the 24-hour clock.
KEY DATES
5. The Promotion commences on Thursday 29 March 2018 at 9:00am (AEST) and concludes on Thursday 19 April 2018 at 11:59pm (AEST) (“Promotion Period”).
6. No responsibility will be taken by the Promoter for any ineligible or lost entries or entries submitted or received by the Promoter after the closing date. Entries that do not comply with these terms and conditions are incomplete, or submitted or received by the Promoter after the closing date will be declared void.
7. The competition announcement of the winning entry will take place at 28 – 30 Queen Street | Chippendale, NSW 2008 | Australia on Tuesday, 24 April 2018 at 12:00PM (AEDT).
8. The winner of the Major Prize will be notified immediately by email and phone relying on contact details provided by the Entrant.
9. Prize must be taken as stated and no compensation will be payable if the winner is unable to use the prize as stated.
10. UNCLAIMED PRIZE: The Promoter reserves the right to select a new prize winner in the event of an Entrant failing to comply with these terms and conditions or forfeiting or not claiming the prize by Tuesday, 8 May 2018 at 12:00PM (AEDT); If the prize remains unclaimed by that date, a second prize award will be held at 3.01pm (AEDT) on Tuesday 15 May 2018 at the same location as the original prize award. Disposal of any unclaimed prize may be made subject to any written directions given by any government authority and pursuant to any relevant legislation. An unclaimed prize winner will be contacted by phone or email immediately.
11. Prize must be accepted by Saturday 19 May 2018 (one month after competition end date)
HOW TO ENTER
12. To enter the Promotion an Entrant will be required to meet the following conditions:
(a) Visa Entertainment Members –
i. Be a current Visa Entertainment member and be subscribed to receive emails from Visa Entertainment;
ii. Visa Entertainment Members must enter during the Promotion Period online at
www.visaentertainment.com.au.
(b) Eligible Visa Entertainment Members will receive an entry link via a Promotion banner on their booking confirmation e-mail.
i. Enter via the Promotion link located on the website banner (qualifying members will also be sent an email linking to the Promotion page) and submit an entry that is 25 words or less that responds to the following question: “what makes you feel confident and empowered to be your most authentic self?” and
ii. Provide all personal information requested (full name, phone number, and postal address, and email address).
13. Any cost associated with accessing the Promotion website is the Entrant’s responsibility and is dependent on the Internet service provider used.
14. The prize will be awarded to the entry which, in the opinion of the Promoter’s judging panel (at its sole discretion), is the most creative of all entries received.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS & VERIFICATION
15. All entries in the Promotion may be subject to verification by the Promoter, including:
(a) All Entrants MUST also deliver to the Promoter (by a means reasonably determined by the Promoter) copies of any other documents the Promoter may request establishing eligibility to enter or win the Promotion, including but not limited to evidence of age, residence or identity (“additional documentation”). The Promoter may make one or more requests for such documents. Once the identity of documents available is established, an Entrant must deliver requested copies within 2 days of being asked to do so. At the Promoter’s request, an Entrant MUST also, within 2 days of being asked to do so, allow the Promoter to inspect a copy of the original of any such document.
16. The Promoter may, at its absolute discretion, disqualify any Entrant and declare any or all entries made by an Entrant invalid if Entrant/s:
(a) Tamper with the entry process, including use of any automated entry software or any other mechanical or electronic means that permit the Entrant to automatically enter repeatedly; or
(b) Tampers with the operation of the Promotion or web site or found to be using multiple aliases, household addresses or email addresses; or
(c) Acts in a disruptive manner; or
(d) Fails to establish their entitlement to enter the Promotion to the Promoter’s reasonable satisfaction; or
(e) Fails to produce items as required or produces items that, in the Promoter’s opinion, are illegible, stolen, forged, reconstructed, altered, incomplete or tampered with in any way; or
(f) Acts in violation of these Conditions of Entry.
ENTRY DETAILS
17. Entrants can only enter in their own name.
18. One entry per ticket only.
19. Entries are deemed to be received at the time of receipt in the Promotion database and NOT the time of transmission by the Entrant.
20. Incomplete, illegible or incorrect entries, entries which are not in the required format or which contain offensive of defamatory comments, or which breach any law or infringe any third party rights, including intellectual property rights, are not eligible to win the prize.
TOTAL PRIZE VALUE
21. The Total Prize Value is up to AUD$13,000 consisting of one (1) Major Prize valued at AUD$9,000 one (100) Minor Prizes valued at AUD$4,000
PRIZES
Details of the Major Prize:
22. The Major Prize winner will receive the following:
(a) Return economy class airfares for two (2) adults from winner’s nearest Australian capital city to New York City, USA (valued at AUD$5,000 RRP).
(b) Five (5) nights/six (6) days’ accommodation in a 4-star hotel in New York City, United States of America (valued at AUD$3,000 RRP) and;
(c) One (1) AUD$1,000 RRP Visa pre-paid cash card.
23. Major Prize conditions:
(a) Prize must be redeemed with Entertainment One Australia by Thursday 31st May with travel period until 31st May 2019. Prize is subject to availability at the time booking.
(b) Blackout periods apply and cannot be taken during Australian or American school holidays, official public holidays or other peak periods.
(c) It cannot be transferred in part or in full to other persons, redeemed for cash or altered or amended in any way that differs from the details outlined in these Promotion Conditions of Entry.
(d) For booking, the prize-winner will be contacted by the promoter between the hours of 9:30AM-5:00PM(AEDT). This prize cannot be booked via a travel agent.
(e) The winner and his/her travel companion must depart from and return to the same departure point and travel together from their nearest major international airport in Australia.
(f) Airline frequent flyer points will not be awarded and do not form part of the Major Prize.
(g) Travel insurance is not included in the prize and is the sole responsibility of the winner and guest. Neither Visa Entertainment nor Entertainment One Australia will be liable for any injury, loss, theft or damage to any person or possessions related directly or indirectly to the Major Prize.
(h) Airport transfers in Australia or New York City, United States of America, are not included.
(i) Winner and their guest must be eligible to travel to the United States of America.
(j) The Prize Winner and their traveling companion must be in possession of a valid 5-year passport and must have a minimum of 90 days validity for the duration of the prize holiday. All entry visas, ESTA forms, and/or travel documents are the sole responsibility of the winner including visa costs if applicable. The Promoter will not arrange entry visas
(k) The winner and his or her travel companion must be 18+ years and are responsible for ensuring that they have valid passports, and any requisite visas, vaccinations and travel documentation.
(l) The winner may be required to present their credit card at check in at any hotel accommodation.
(m) All air travel must be on the services provided as part of the Major Prize, and special requests regarding airline(s) and flights may not be accommodated.
(n) Neither cash nor other form of compensation will be supplied in lieu of the forfeited whole or part of the prize.
(o) All components are subject to the standard terms and conditions of individual prize and service providers.
(p) Travel itinerary will be determined by Entertainment One Australia and/or Visa Entertainment in its absolute discretion.

24) Details of the Minor Prize:
(a) One hundred (100) minor prize winners in Australia,
(b) The total value of the minor Prize is up to AUD$4,000.

(d) Each minor winner will receive one (1) In-season double pass ticket to see the film ‘I Feel Pretty’, valued up to AUD$40.00.
25) Minor Prize Conditions:
(a) Prize redemption is valid from April 19th, 2018 until the end of the film’s theatrical season at all participating cinemas including selected independents. (Excludes public holidays, discount days and after 5pm on Saturdays).
(b) Valid even with “No Free Tickets” listing.
(c) Each ticket must be taken as offered and is not exchangeable, for sale, transferable or redeemable for cash.
(d) Each ticket does not guarantee admission and is subject to seat availability. Minor prize winners must check cinemas for session times.
(e) Discount days vary between cinemas, please check beforehand to avoid disappointment
(f) This ticket must be exchanged at the box office for a valid ticket at any participating cinema, please call ahead to avoid disappointment.

27) Draw & Winner Notification
(a) The prize draw will take place as follows:
(i) Major Prize and Minor Prize draw will take place at 28 – 30 Queen Street | Chippendale, NSW 2008 | Australia on Tuesday, 24 April 2018 at 12:00PM (AEDT).
(ii) Winners will be notified in writing within 2 business days of the draw and must claim the Minor Prize & Major Prize by 12:00PM (AEDT) on Thursday, 3 May 2018.
(iii) Prize Winners be published on the competition page at
www.visaentertainment.com.au by Monday, 7 May 2018.
(b) Draw for any unclaimed prize will take place as follows:
(i) Any unclaimed Major Prize or Minor Prize draw will take place at 28 – 30 Queen Street | Chippendale, NSW 2008 | Australia, on Tuesday, 8 May 2018 at 12:00PM (AEDT); and
(ii) Unclaimed Major & Minor Prize draw winners will be notified in writing within 2 business days of the draw, and their names will be published on the competition page at www. visaentertainment.com.au by Friday, 11 May 2018.
c) The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
d) Prizes will be awarded to the Eligible Entrant named on the entry form.
28) General Conditions
(a) The prize is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash in part and/or in full. In the event that for any reason whatsoever a winner does not take an element of the prize at the time stipulated by the Promoter then that element of the prize will be entirely forfeited by the winner. No cash or other compensation will be awarded in lieu of that element of the prize.
(b) Prize winners are advised that tax implications may arise from their prize winnings and they should seek independent financial advice prior to accepting any prize.
(c) The Promoter reserves the right to request winners to provide proof of identity, proof of residency at the nominated prize delivery address and/or proof of entry validity. The suitability and verification of such proof is at the sole discretion of the Promoter. In the event that a winner cannot provide suitable proof, the winner will forfeit the prize in whole and no substitute will be offered.
(d) The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and to disqualify any entry which, in the opinion of Promoter, includes objectionable content, profanity, potentially insulting, inflammatory or defamatory statements, disqualify any Eligible Entrant who tampers with the entry process, who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Conditions of Entry or who has, in the opinion of Promoter, engaged in conduct in entering the Promotion which is fraudulent, misleading, deceptive or generally damaging to the goodwill or reputation of the Promotion and/or Promoter. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify a winner if the Promoter becomes aware that the winner and/or the winner’s entry is of a type described in this clause.
(e) The Promoter is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment, software, technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any web site, or any combination thereof, including but not limited to any injury or damage to participants or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from participation in or downloading any materials in this competition.
(f) It is a condition of acceptance of the prize that the winning Eligible Entrant’s Visa Entertainment account must be current, during the Promotion Period and at the time of notification that they have won.
(g) Unless expressly stated in these Conditions of Entry all other expenses are the responsibility of the winner. This includes, but is not limited to, meals, taxes, government surcharges, optional activities, insurances, visas, inoculation, in-room hotel charges, spending money transport to and from the airport, accommodation or event venue. Items of a personal nature and all other ancillary costs not mentioned in the prize description are not included.
(h) If the prize is unavailable, for whatever reason, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize for a prize of equal or greater value, subject to any written regulatory direction or as required by law.
(i) It is a condition of accepting the prize that the winner may be required to sign a legal release in a form determined by the Promoter in its absolute discretion.
(j) By accepting the prize, the winner agrees to participate in and co-operate as required with all reasonable media editorial requests relating to the prize, including but not limited to, being interviewed and photographed, filmed and/or chaperoned throughout the duration of the prize.
(k) In consideration for the Promoter awarding the prize to the winner, the winner hereby permits the winner’s image and/or voice, as recorded, photographed or filmed during the winner’s participation in the prize to appear in connection with the Promoter (including its related companies) or the advertising or marketing thereof, in any media whatsoever throughout the world and the winner will not be entitled to any fee, payment or other compensation for such use.
(l) Prize values are based upon the recommended retail prices at the time of printing (inclusive of GST). The Promoter accepts no responsibility for change in prize value between now and the ultimate prize redemption date.
(m) Should an Eligible Entrant’s contact details change during the Promotional Period, it is the Eligible Entrant's responsibility to notify the Promoter. A request to access or modify any information provided in an entry should be directed to Promoter.
(n) It is a condition of accepting the prize that the winner must comply with all the conditions of use of the prize and the prize supplier’s requirements.

(s) The Promoter and their associated agencies and companies assume no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission; communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to, or alteration of entries, and reserves the right to take any action that may be available.
(t) If for any reason this competition is not capable of running as planned, including due to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any causes beyond the control of the Promoter, which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness or integrity or proper conduct of this promotion, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, take any action that may be available, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition, subject to any written regulatory direction or as required by law.
(u) If required, Eligible Entrants’ personal information may be disclosed to State and Territory lottery departments and winners’ names published as required under the relevant lottery legislation. A request to access, update or correct any information should be directed to the Promoter.
(v) No responsibility is accepted for late, lost or misdirected entries.
(w) Incomplete or indecipherable entries will be deemed invalid

29) Privacy Consent
(a) To provide this competition, the Promoter needs to collect personal information about the Eligible Entrant. If the Eligible Entrant does not provide the information requested, the Promoter may not be able to provide the Eligible Entrant with the competition entry. The American Express Privacy Policy Statement sets out policies on management of personal information. To arrange access to personal information about Eligible Entrant, request a copy of the American Express Privacy Policy Statement or enquire generally about privacy matters, write to the Promoter.
