The promoter reserves the right to amend the contesting period at its absolute discretion.
a) Entrants [and their Mum] must be 18 years of age or over at the time of entry.
b) Entrants must have consent from their Mum (who may be their biological Mother, Step Mother, Guardian or other official/established ‘Mother’ figure) to enter.
c) Entrants [and their Mum] must be able to participate in the challenge on a date as per the Promoter’s instruction between the dates of Monday 30th April 2018 and Friday 11th May 2018 or at a date specified by the Promoter.
d) Entrants [and their Mums] must be able to participate in the challenge by attending in-person Chemist Warehouse, Chadstone Shopping Centre, 1341 Dandenong Road, Chadstone VIC 3148 on Friday 11th May 2018, between 6am and 9am AEST.
e) Any Entrant or Mum who is unable to be contacted or refuses the segment to go to air will be disqualified and forfeit the prize. The segment must go to air for the Entrant to be eligible to be a winner (this will be at ARN Content’s discretion).
f) The Promoter reserves the right not to accept a registration for any Eligible Entrant or to disqualify an Eligible Entrant If the Promoter considers that the registration contains anything obscene, defamatory, and dangerous to any person or is otherwise inappropriate.
g) The Contestants may be required for marketing and publicity purposes with the Promoter at their discretion.
h) Any additional costs not stipulated above will be the responsibility of the winner and not be borne by the Promoter or Supplier.
i) Entrants must have a current valid Australian bank account in their own name in order to receive the prize.
Online Entry:
During the Competition Period:
1. Listeners will be invited via Station on-air commercials and/or on
air during the Will & Woody show to visit the Station Website and complete the online entry form by providing (including but not limited to) their contact details and by stating in 25 words or less the first thing you would shout your Mum if you won $1,000,000.
2. Each entry submitted by the time specified by the Station will be individually reviewed by representatives of the Station. The Station will select the entries it deems to be the “best” from all valid entries received and may contact entrants to get more information about their entry. A call from station representatives does not guarantee entry into the competition.
3. Up to ten (10) entries deemed the ‘best’ will be selected and the entrant and their Mum will be invited to attend their nearest ARN studio to compete in a game with Will & Woody (segment may be pre – recorded and/or broadcast by the Promoter in its absolute discretion); and played on air. Entrants must be able to attend their closest ARN station at their own expense.
4. The game will involve two teams of child/Mum undertaking a particular quiz-based challenge. The team deemed the ‘winner’ (in the promoter’s absolute discretion – no correspondence entered into) will be invited to participate in the CW Challenge and receive the CW challenge prize.
Online entry for Chemist Warehouse Proof of Purchase
During the Competition Period:
Via point of sale advertising material, customers of Chemist Warehouse will be invited to visit the station website and complete the online entry form by providing (including but not limited to) their contact details and by stating in 25 words or less the first thing you would shout your Mum if you won $1,000,000, and uploading a “proof of purchase receipt from a Chemist Warehouse purchase to the value of at least $10 made within the last 30 days”. This entry mechanic will give them three (3) entries into the CW Wildcard Draw, the winner of which will be invited to participate in the CW Challenge and received the CW prize.
Entrants may submit as many entries as they wish however, each entry must be submitted via a separate online entry form and contain a different answer to the question. Multiple entries for the Chemist Warehouse wildcard draw must contain different qualifying receipts. Entrants will only be eligible to win one prize each.
Contestants are ineligible to participate in this Promotion if they:
1. Are a Director, employee or contractor of the Promoter or Chemist Warehouse and those of any agencies directly associated with this Promotion; or an immediate family member of these people.
“Immediate family member” means spouse, parent, natural or adopted child, and sibling (whether natural or adopted by a parent), whether or not they live in the same household as the director, manger, employee, officer or contractor.
The Promoter has complete discretion of all decisions in relation to the eligibility of entrants, and no correspondence will be entered into in this regard.
Entrants must satisfy all Verification Requirements when requested by the Promoter in order to redeem the Major Prize, such requirements may include but are not limited to; the following:
i. Completing a KIIS Network Declaration of Eligibility.
ii. Completing a KIIS Network indemnity and release form.
iii. Completing a KIIS Network use of image release.
iv. Completing an indemnity of a third party related to the Promotional activities / events.
v. Providing a copy of photo identification (to verify identity).
vii. Providing a signed a copy of these terms and conditions.
viii. Providing any document which the Promoter and/or the Promoters Insurer reasonably requests for the purposes of prize redemption.
Any Finalists who refuses to sign an indemnity and/or any other documentation as requested by the Promoter, may be disqualified from the Promotion.
CW Challenge:
o Up to Twelve (12) CW Challengers (Six (6) teams of two (2)) will be invited to attend Chemist Warehouse at Chadstone Shopping Centre, 1341 Dandenong Rd, Chadstone VIC 3148 to take part in the CW Challenge between 6-9am on Friday 11th of May 2018. If the Challenger does not arrive by 6am they may forfeit their spot in the Challenge.
The CW Challengers will be required compete in a Challenge as set out by Will & Woody and will be at the Promoters discretion. The Team deemed the winner by the Promoter will be invited to take part in the Major Challenge as the Finalist. The runner up contestants will win a Minor prize, to be determined by the Promoter.
Major Challenge:
o The Mum who is deemed the “finalist” will be required to participate in the final challenge at Chemist Warehouse at Chadstone Shopping Centre, 1341 Dandenong Rd, Chadstone VIC 3148 between 6-9am AEST on Friday 11th of May 2018. If the Challenger cannot participate in the challenge they may forfeit their spot in the Challenge.
o Within an aisle of the Chemist Warehouse store (as marked by the Promoter), ONE item of 300 items of fragrance will have a prize of $1,000,000 attached to it.
o Once the Promoter starts the timer and signals for the finalist to enter the specific challenge aisle within the Chemist Warehouse store, the finalist will have the opportunity to pick ONE item from the aisle that is appropriately marked. The first item that is touched by the Challenger will be classified as their final selected item.
o The finalist will then deliver the selected item to the Promoter, who will reveal whether it is the ‘Million Dollar Fragrance’.
o If the finalist selects the ‘Million Dollar Fragrance’ they will be deemed a winner and awarded the Major Prize. If they do not select the Million Dollar Fragrance, the finalist will have two additional attempts (3 in total) to select the Million Dollar Fragrance in accordance with the mechanism set out above.
o The Promoter will set a specified time period (up to 1 minute but may be less) for the finalist to make their selection. The promoter’s decision is final, and no correspondence may be entered into.
Challengers and finalists may be required to complete a medical questionnaire and/or sign an indemnity/waiver prior to taking part in any challenge. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify anyone it deems unsuitable to participate in a challenge based on potential risk to their health.
Each valid entry will be individually judged (by representatives of the Promoter) based on, among other things, creativity, humour, suitability for radio and originality.
To determine the winner of the Chemist Warehouse Wildcard entry, 1 x draw will take place at Level 2, 21-31 Goodwood Street, Richmond, VIC between 1pm and 4pm AEST on Wednesday 9 May 2018.
