Win a Holiday
1. This competition (“Competition”) is conducted by Taren Point Bowling
Club, ABN 26 000 105 948, of 203 Holt Road, Taren Point, NSW, 2229
(“Promoter”). Phone number (02) 9522 8111.
2. Entry into the Competition constitutes acceptance of these conditions. All
entry instructions and prize information published by the Promoter form
part of these conditions.
3. Only open to “Eligible Entrants”. An Eligible Entrant is an individual who is
an Australian resident as at time of entry, including any: (i) current
member of Taren Point Bowling Club; (ii) person over 18 years of age.
This excludes any: (i) employee of the Promoter, Director or any of their
agencies associated with the Competition; (ii) employee of Taren Point
Bowling Club, ABN 26 000 105 948; (iii) spouse, defacto spouse, parent,
child or sibling (whether natural or by adoption) of an excluded employ

7. There will be a total of Five (5) draw conducted:
a) Saturday 2nd June 2018 at 19:00 AEST
b) Saturday 9th June 2018 at 19:00 AEST
c) Saturday 16th June 2018 at 19:00 AEST
d) Saturday 23rd June 2018 at 19:00 AEST
e) Saturday 30th June 2018 at 19:00 AEST
8. Contestants must be present at Taren Point Bowling Club and once drawn
make themselves known to the person responsible for conducting the
promotion before they are permitted to accept the prize.
9. All participating members will receive entry tickets into all draws. All tickets
will be dated, include contestant’s details and will be entered into the
draw.
10. All five (5) draws will be conducted by a Taren Point Bowling Club
employee or promotional staff member.
11.One entry will be drawn per nominated draw time and the winners name
will be announced over the club’s PA system and the member will have 4
minutes to come forward to accept their prize. Members must be on club
premises at the time of the draws to participate.
12.Members are required to present their current financial Taren Point
Bowling Club membership card to the person responsible for conducting
the promotion.
13.If at anytime a participant does not come forward within 4 minutes, draws
will be conducted until an eligible participant is found.
14.Prizes consist of;
a) Draw 1: 2nd June 2018 – Choose a trip to Melbourne or Gold
Coast to the value of $600.00
b) Draw 2: 9th June 2018 – Choose a trip to Melbourne or Gold Coast
to the value of $600.00
c) Draw 3: 16th June 2018 – Choose a trip to Melbourne or Gold
Coast to the value of $600.00
d) Draw 4: 23rd June 2018 – Choose a trip to Melbourne or Gold
Coast to the value of $600.00
e) Draw 5: 30th June 2018 – Choose a trip to New Zealand or Fiji to
the value of $3,600.00
15.Additional spending money, meals, insurance, items of a personal nature,
in-room charges and all other ancillary costs are not included.

16. Prize must be taken between 02/07/2018 and 30/11/2018 subject to the
Promoter’s discretion. The prize is subject to booking and flight availability.
Itinerary to be determined by the Promoters in their absolute discretion.
Frequent flyer points will not form part of the prize. Prize is subject to the
standard terms and conditions of individual prize and service providers.
The winner may be required to present their credit card at time of
accommodation check in.
17.Unless expressly stated in these Terms and Conditions, all other
expenses are the responsibility of the winners (and their companion).
18.There shall be no more than one winner per prize drawn; total of five (5)
prizes drawn and the winner of each prize can only win once.
19.Printing errors or other quality control matters outside the control of the
individual player shall not be used as the sole basis for refusing to award a
prize.
20.Any ticket will be declared void if mutilated, forged, altered or tampered
with in any way.
21.Entry tickets will be emptied from the barrel at the conclusion of the last
draw on the nominated promotional day.
22.Terms and conditions of this promotion will be available for members to
view at the clubs reception.
23.If for any reason the conduct or operation of the Competition is interfered
with or disrupted in any way (including by vandalism, power failures,
natural disasters, acts of God, civil unrest, strikes, computer bugs or
viruses, tampering or technical failures), the Promoter reserves the right to
cancel, terminate, modify or suspend or recommence the Competition,
subject to the approval of the authorities that have issued permits for its
conduct.
24.The Promoter assumes no responsibility for: (i) any error, omission,
interruption, or delay in the operation or transmission of any
communication sent to (or by) the Promoter or any entrant whether
caused by problems with communication networks or lines, computer
systems, software or internet service providers, congestion on any carrier
network or otherwise, (ii) any theft, destruction or unauthorized access to,
or alteration of such communications; (iii) any problem with, or technical
malfunction of, any computer system or other equipment used for the
conduct of the Competition; (iv) any incorrect or incomplete information

which may be communicated in the course of the administering this
Competition (whether as a result of one of the foregoing causes or
otherwise); (v) any entry or Instant Prize claim that is late, lost, altered,
damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the
Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the
Promoter; (vi) any variation in prize value to that stated in these
conditions; (vii) any tax liability incurred by a winner or Eligible Entrant; or
(viii) use of a prize. Individuals should obtain independent tax and financial
advice.
25.Any discrepancies will be settled by management, whose decision is final.
26.CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT TO CAUSE DAMAGE TO ANY AUTHORISED
TICKET DESPENCER OR WEBSITE OR THE INFORMATION
ASSOCIATED WITH THIS PROMOTION OR TO OTHERWISE
UNDERMINE THE FAIR AND LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THIS
COMPETITION MAY BE A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS.
THE PROMOTER RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES TO
THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW IN THE EVENT THAT
ANY SUCH ATTEMPT IS MADE, WHETHER OR NOT THAT ATTEMPT
RESULTS IN ANY SUCH DAMAGE, INTERFERENCE OR
UNDERMINING.
27.If any prize or any element of a prize becomes unavailable, is abandoned,
called off, varied or postponed for reasons beyond the Promoter's control,
the Promoter may substitute a prize or element of a prize of equal value at
the Promoter’s sole discretion, subject to any written directions from the
relevant authorities.
28.To the full extent permitted by law, the Promoter, its related companies
(including but not limited to Taren Point Bowling Club, ABN 26 000 105
948) and all those entities' personnel (the "Relevant Parties") exclude all
liability for any loss (including any damage, claim, injury, cost or expense)
which is suffered or incurred by any Eligible Entrant in connection with the
Competition or prizes, including: (i) any indirect, economic or
consequential loss; (ii) any loss arising from the negligence of a Relevant
Party; (iii) any liability for personal injury or death. Nothing in these
conditions limit, exclude or modify or purports to limit, exclude or modify
the statutory consumer guarantees as provided under the Competition and
Consumer Act, as well as any other implied warranties under the ASIC Act

or similar consumer protection laws in the States and Territories of
Australia.
29.Eligible Entrants' personal information will be collected by or on behalf of
the Promoter to enable it to administer the Competition. The personal
information of each winner may be provided to others assisting in the
conduct of the Competition, including the Competition administrator, prize
suppliers and deliverers, and to regulatory authorities. The Promoter will
also use and handle personal information as set out in its Privacy Policy,
which can be viewed at tpbc.com.au. All entries become the property of
the Promoter. Entrants’ personal information collected will be shared with
overseas third parties who provide services to the Promoter in order to
conduct the promotion. By registering for the promotion, Eligible Entrants
consent for this to occur. Do not register for the promotion if you do not
consent for your personal information to be shared with overseas
recipients.
