Terms and Conditions
1. These terms and conditions are for all participants who enter the ‘Waurn Ponds Shopping Centre
Shop & Win Mother’s Day Campaign’ Promotion (“Promotion”). Participation in this Promotion is
deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
2. The “Promoter” is Waurn Ponds Shopping Centre, ABN 68 339 354 393 of Corner Colac & Pioneer
Road, Waurn Ponds VIC 3216. Telephone: 03 5244 2580.
ELIGIBILITY
3. This Promotion is only open to Victorian residents aged 18 years or over.
4. The following are ineligible: (i) employees of the Promoter, Waurn Ponds Shopping Centre or any
of the tenants or retailers in the Participating Centre or any of the Promoter’s agencies that are
associated with the Promotion; and (ii) any person who the Promoter has previously notified is not
permitted to enter the Promoter’s promotions.
PROMOTION PERIOD
5. This Promotion commences at 9am Australian Eastern Standard Time (“AEST”) on Monday 23 April
2018 and ends at 5pm on Sunday 13 May 2018 AEST (“Promotion Period”).
HOW TO PARTICIPATE
6. To enter this Promotion, eligible individuals must, during the Promotion Period, simply:
a. Spend $10 or more at participating stores at Waurn Ponds Shopping Centre (excludes Coles,
Coles Express, First Choice Liquor, Hungry Jacks, Liquorland, Reading Cinemas, Woolworths
& Safeway Caltex) to receive one entry form per minimum spend.
b. Customers fill in the required fields on the entry form and place in the entry barrels located
outside Target or Ferguson Plarre to enter the Major Prize Draw.
c. Customers may also visit the iPads located outside Target and Kmart and follow instructions
to fill out the entry form as prompted for a bonus entry into the Major Prize Draw.
d. Customers must retain their original receipt used on entry as this will be used as proof of
purchase to claim a prize if they are a winner.
e. Multiple entries for the promotion are permitted, however each entry must be from a
separate receipt as per the minimum spend requirement.
f. Receipts from bill payments, lay-by payments (except for the total amount upon
completion), bank transactions, medical service expenses, travel purchases over $1,000,
transaction receipts, gift voucher purchases, tobacco purchases, lottery transactions, fuel
purchase, and business purchases over $1,000, are not accepted as part o

7. Prizes consist of:

8. DATE, TIME AND PLACE OF DRAWS
The winners of the Major and Runner-up prizes will be drawn at the Waurn Ponds Centre Management
on Monday 14 May, 2018 at 10am.
a. The Prize winners will be determined via a random draw.
b. The decision is final. No further correspondence will be entered into.
c. The winners will be contacted by phone and in writing after the draws have taken place.
d. The winners need not be present at the draws.
e. Major and runner-up prizes must be redeemed by Monday 11 June 2018.
f. Prize winners must provide suitable identification to the promoter’s satisfaction to be
entitled to claim a prize (e.g. drivers licence, Medicare card)
g. The winners’ names will be published on the Waurn Ponds website and Facebook page
(WaurnPondsSC) on Monday 14 May, 2018.
h. If despite every reasonable effort the winners of a prize cannot be contacted, the prize will
be retained for 28 days. At the end of the 28 days being Monday 11 June 2018, if a prize
remains unclaimed a redraw will be sought. Any redraw/s will be conducted at the Waurn
Ponds Centre Management Office at 10am, Tuesday 12 June, 2018.
MAJOR PRIZE TERMS & CONDITIONS
9. MAJOR PRIZE includes:
a. Carnival Cruise Family Holiday
b. Return flights
c. One night’s accommodation in departing city
I. Carnival Cruise is valued at up to $5,000, and is provided by Waurn Ponds Shopping Centre.
II. Return flights and accommodation is valued at up to $1,500, and is provided by Helloworld
Waurn Ponds.
III. Major prize is valued at up to $6,500.
IV. Total prize value will be dependent on the selected travel destination, dates and times
selected.
V. Major prize is for one family, including 2 x adults and 2 x children.
VI. Additional children can be added but additional costs will be at the winners/customers
expense.
VII. Prize must be redeemed and booked with a travel expert at Helloworld Waurn Ponds.
VIII. Prize must be booked with Helloworld Waurn Ponds within 12 months of the winner being
announced (Monday 13 May 2019).
CARNIVAL CRUISE FAMILY HOLIDAY:
I. Any cruise offered by Carnival Cruises may be selected up to the value of $5,000. No
alternative cruising companies can be selected.
II. Cruise destination and departure dates are to be selected by the winner/customer, with a
Helloworld Waurn Ponds Travel Expert.
III. Cruise departure location must be from an Australian city only.
IV. If selected cruise and booking exceeds $5,000, the extra/outstanding amount will need to
be paid at the winner/customers’ expense.
RETURN FLIGHTS:
I. Return flights will be selected for 2 x adults and 2 x children.
II. Return flights will be selected in conjunction with the selected cruise destination,
departure location, date and time.
III. Return flights are to be selected by the winner/customer, with a Helloworld Waurn Ponds
Travel Expert.
IV. Return flights will be departing from Melbourne Tullamarine or Avalon airport, dependant
on which is more convenient.
V. Return flights include Australian city destinations only.
VI. Return flights are to be selected for the day or night prior to cruise departure, whichever is
more convenient for the winner/customer.
ACCOMMODATION:
I. Accommodation is for 1 (one) x night for a family of 4 (2 x adults and 2 x children)
II. Accommodation will be selected in conjunction with the selected cruise destination,
departure location, date and time.
III. Accommodation is to be selected by the winner/customer, with a Helloworld Waurn Ponds
Travel Expert.
IV. Accommodation must be booked for the night prior to the cruise departure date.
V. Accommodation includes Australian destinations only.
VI. Accommodation is to be selected by the winner/customer with the assistance of a
Helloworld Travel Expert.
VII. Accommodation will be selected in the city where the cruise departs.
I. Together, the return flights and accommodation will be provided by Helloworld Waurn
Ponds up to the value of $1,500.
II. If selected return flights and accommodation booked exceeds $1,500, the
extra/outstanding amount will need to be paid at the winner/customers’ expense.
III. Should the selected cruise depart from Melbourne, one night’s accommodation in
Melbourne will be offered to the winner/customer. Flights will be omitted.
IV. Additional Helloworld Major Prize terms and conditions may apply. Please see Helloworld

GENERAL
10. Prizes are subject to the standard terms and conditions of individual prize and service providers
and are exclusive to Waurn Ponds Shopping Centre. If for any reason a winner does not take the
prize or an element of the prize at the time stipulated, then the prize or that element of the prize
will be forfeited and cannot be exchanged or redeemable for cash.
11. If any prize (or part of any prize) is unavailable due to reasons beyond the control of the Promoter,
the Promoter at its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the prize (or that part of the prize)
with a prize to the equal value and/or specification, subject to any written directions from a
regulatory authority.
12. Prizes, or any unused portion of a prize, are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken
as cash, or on sold for individual profit, unless otherwise specified.
13. No responsibility is accepted for late, lost or misdirected entry forms.
14. Entries will not be accepted via post.
15. Entries illegible, forged, mutilated, copied or tampered with in any way will not be considered.
16. Terms and conditions of the individual stores that donate instant prizes will apply.
17. The prize values are correct at the authorisation date of the competition. The Promoter is not
responsible for any subsequent variation in values.
18. Participants consent to the Promoter using the participant’s name, likeness, image and/or voice in
the event they are a winner (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media
for an unlimited period without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this Promotion
(including any outcome), and promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied
by the Promoter.
19. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries (including contacting
Participating Retailers) and participants (including any participant’s identity, age and place of
residence) and to disqualify any participant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with
these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the entry process. Failure by the Promoter to
enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
20. If this Promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably
anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, including but not
limited to technical difficulties, unauthorised intervention or fraud, the Promoter reserves the
right, in its sole discretion to the fullest extent permitted by law to (a) disqualify an participant; or
(b) subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority to modify, suspend, terminate or
cancel the Promotion, as appropriate.
21. The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
22. Any cost associated with accessing the promotional website is the participant’s responsibility and is
dependent on the Internet service provider used. The use of any automated entry software or any
other mechanical or electronic means that allows any participant to automatically enter repeatedly
is prohibited and will render all entries submitted by that participant invalid.
23. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limit, exclude or modify or purports to limit, exclude or
modify the statutory consumer guarantees as provided under the Competition and Consumer Act,
as well as any other implied warranties under the ASIC Act or similar consumer protection laws in
the State and Territories of Australia (“Non-Excludable Guarantees”). Except for any liability that
cannot by law be excluded, including the Non-Excludable Guarantees, the Promoter (including their
respective officers, employees and agents) exclude all liability (including negligence), for any
personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect,
special or consequential, arising in any way out of the Promotion.
24. Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, including the Non-Excludable Guarantees,
the Promoter (including their respective officers, employees and agents) are not responsible for
and exclude all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage
(including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way
out of: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the
Promoter’s control); (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (c) any entry or
correspondence that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected due to any reason beyond the
reasonable control of the Promoter; (d) any variation in the prize value to that stated in these
Terms and Conditions; (e) any tax liability incurred by an participant or winner; or (f) use of the
prize.
PRIVACY
25. In order to conduct this Promotion, the Promoter needs to collect personal information about each
participant and may for this purpose, disclose such information to third parties, including but not
limited to agents, contractors, service providers, gift suppliers and regulatory authorities.
Participation in the Promotion is conditional on providing this information. It is a condition of entry
that the participant agrees to being entered into the Promoter’s database. The Promoter may, for
an indefinite period, unless otherwise advised, use the information for promotional, marketing,
publicity and research purposes, including sending electronic messages or telephoning the
participant and for such other purposes as set out in the Waurn Ponds Shopping Centre Privacy
Policy. Participants should direct any request to access, update or correct information to the
Promoter. All personal details of participants will be stored at the office of the Promoter. Upon the
participant’s request, all information provided will be removed from our active database. All
