Multicultural Museums Victoria (MMV) is a new alliance of five ethnic museums in Melbourne - Chinese, Italian, Greek, Islamic and Jewish. Set against the backdrop of one of the world’s great multicultural cities, MMV works together to share its rich cultures.

‘Grandmothers’ is MMV’s first joint project, featuring stories of grandmothers from across Melbourne.  Through five extraordinary exhibitions and accompanying events, MMV invites you to celebrate the accomplishments, wisdom and the central role of the grandmother in Chinese, Italian, Greek, Muslim and Jewish communities.
