Terms and conditions
1. Welcome to the Dry (“Promotion”) runs from 6pm to 10pm each Saturday and from 2pm to 7pm
each Sunday (each such day being a “Draw Day”) during the promotional period from 12 May to
17 June 2018.
2. The promotion is open to all SKYCITY Darwin customers (“Customers”), except the following
people who are ineligible to enter:
i. SKYCITY staff, of any capacity
ii. Spouses and/or de-facto spouses of SKYCITY staff
iii. Persons under the age of 18 years
iv. Any person who at the time of the promotion/draw is excluded under the relevant
provisions of the Northern Territory Gaming Legislation
v. Any person who at the time of the promotion/draw is self-excluded from any area of
SKYCITY Darwin
vi. Players of IB-Domestic or IB-International Business levels
Cash Prize Draws
3. Cash prize draws (“Cash Prize Draw”) will take place at SKYCITY Darwin at approximately 8pm
and 10pm each Saturday, and every hour from 3pm to 7pm each Sunday during the promotional
period.
4. At each Cash Prize Draw, one winning entry will be randomly drawn by a licensed SKYCITY
employee from all eligible entries placed in the promotional draw barrel (as defined in clause 5.i.)
as at the time of that Cash Prize Draw and the holder of the corresponding wristband (as defined
in clause 5.i.) will, subject to clause 8 and 9, win a cash prize, as detailed in clause 6.
5. Customers may enter the Cash Prize Draws on a Draw Day as follows:
i. Each entry will consist of a wristband (“Wristband”) with a detachable stub/ticket
(“Entry”), where both the Wristband and Entry will display the same unique number;
ii. Wristbands will be available from select SKYCITY personnel at SKYCITY Darwin between
6pm and 9.50pm on Saturdays and between 2pm and 6.50pm on Sundays;
iii. SKYCITY personnel will place a Wristband around the relevant Customer’s wrist, detach the
corresponding Entry and give it to the customer. It is the customers’ responsibility to place
the Entry Ticket in to the promotional draw barrel; and
iv. a Customer may obtain a maximum of one Wristband on any Draw Day.

7. On Sundays at each Cash Prize Draw, the selected winner will be invited to play the Sweetheart
giant promotional machine. The member must pull the lever and press the five coloured buttons to
stop the reels. At the end of the spin, the machine will display the cash prize amount the member
has won and confirm this with a printed ticket. The lowest prize is $1,000 and the highest prize is
$3,000. Once a prize amount has been won it is no longer available to be won again on that draw
day.
8. Each Cash Prize Draw winner must be present at the time of the relevant Cash Prize Draw and
present their un-tampered Wristband displaying the winning number together with a satisfactory
form of photo ID to verify their eligibility to participate in the promotion to the SKYCITY MC within
3 minutes of the relevant Cash Prize Draw. If a winner does not so present themselves in person
within this timeframe, but the SKYCITY MC receives visual or audio notification that the winner is
present, then the timeframe may be extended at the discretion of the SKYCITY MC to enable that
winner to reach the draw area. If a winner cannot so present themselves within the relevant
timeframe, then another winning entry will be randomly drawn by a licensed SKYCITY employee
from all remaining eligible entries placed in the promotional draw barrel until an eventual winner
can be found.
9. An un-tampered Wristband is one that when presented by a Customer is, in SKYCITY’s reasonable
opinion, fully intact, undamaged, being worn by that Customer and has not at any time been
removed by that or another Customer. If any Wristband has, in SKYCITY’s reasonable opinion,
been removed or otherwise tampered with it will no longer be a valid entry into the relevant Cash
Prize Draw and SKYCITY reserves all of its rights, including to not award the relevant prize. This is
to deter Customers from trying to obtain more than one Wristband per Draw Day.
10. For the avoidance of doubt, the promotional draw barrel will be emptied of all Entries after all Cash
Prize Draws have been completed on a Draw Day and the prizes awarded.
11. A customer may not win more than one Cash Prize Draw on a single draw day. As per 58.iv. only
one wristband per customer per draw day is permitted. A customer may win more than one Cash
Prize Draw during the promotion, but not more than one on the same day.
$500 Hot Seat Cash Draws
12. Hot Seat Cash Draws are exclusive to active members of the Premier Rewards loyalty program.
13. On each Saturday Draw Day between 6pm and 10pm and on each Sunday Draw Day between 3pm
and 7pm four (4) prize draws (each a “$500 Hot Seat Cash Draw”) will take place at SKYCITY
Darwin at randomly selected times.
14. Each $500 Hot Seat Cash Draw will be made using the Hot Seat software V1.1.0, which will
randomly select a member who is playing on a gaming machine or table game, excluding poker,
using their Premier Rewards card at the time of the draw. The Hot Seat draw will proceed in the
following manner:
i. The host will press ‘select player’, which will then provide the following information:
a. Location
b. Player ID (membership number)
c. Player’s Name
ii. On receiving this information, the host will go to the location and verify the player’s name,
membership number and will check government issued photo ID if required. The member’s
number will be announced only when the host reaches the location and has verified the
person’s details.
iii. The member must be present and playing at the location to be the winner of the draw. If
the seat is empty when the host gets to the location or if a different person other than the
selected player is seated there, a redraw will be undertaken.
iv. The above process will be undertaken until a winner is found. The host will publicly
announce that a winner has been found and the winner will receive the $500 cash prize.

15. A Customer may not win more than one $500 Hot Seat Cash Draw on any one Draw Day but may
win more than one $500 Hot Seat Cash Draw during the promotion. A Customer can win a $500
Hot Seat Cash Draw plus a Cash Prize Draw on a single draw day.
Prizes
16. All prizes are cash. The total value of prizes on each draw day is $12,000. The total value of prizes
for the promotion is $144,000.
17. To the extent permitted by law and subject to obtaining any applicable regulatory approvals,
SKYCITY Darwin reserves the right to change the time of any prize draw, delay the start of the
promotion, extend or cancel the promotion or alter any of these Terms and Conditions without
notice.
18. To the extent permitted by law, neither SKYCITY Darwin nor any other person or party associated
with the promotion will be liable to any person for:
i. any loss, damage or personal injury suffered in connection with participation in the
promotion;
ii. the redemption of a prize; and/or
iii. any inability of a winner to redeem their prize for whatever reason.
19. Participation in the promotion and/or acceptance of a prize confirms acceptance to participate in
any reasonable publicity or advertising of SKYCITY Darwin.
20. Participation in the promotion implies full acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. Failure to
observe any of these Terms and Conditions may result in disqualification from the promotion.
21. There are no alternative prizes offered. Prizes are non-transferable. Prizes will be issued in cash
unless otherwise requested at the time of collection.
22.SKYCITY Darwin shall take no responsibility for customers failing to hear the announcements in
restaurant or bar areas. It is the responsibility of the participating person to be on the main gaming
floor, or in a VIP room, in an area where the announcements of winning ticket holders names are
audible.
23.SKYCITY Darwin management’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered in to. In the
event of any dispute, the decision of management is final subject to (upon request) a review by the
Director General of Licensing, Licensing, Northern Territory Department of Justice.
24.SKYCITY Darwin shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including
but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for personal injury which is suffered or
sustained, as a result of taking any of the prizes, except for any liability which cannot be excluded
by law.
25.SKYCITY Darwin reserves the right to use publicity photos, in any reasonable manner they see fit,
unless that person advises SKYCITY Darwin at the time of entering the promotion that they wish to
retain their anonymity. Entrants also acknowledge that their photo may be used for promotional
display at SKYCITY Darwin, on social media or on the SKYCITY Darwin website.
26. Your information is used for the purpose of entering you in the promotion. We may also send you
information about our products and services. You may request access to your information and
request that it be corrected at any time. If you wish to request access to or to correct your
information or if you have any queries regarding our privacy policy, or if you do not wish to receive
