The partner of the competition is the British Tourist Authority (trading as VisitBritain) a company incorporated under the Development of Tourism Act 1969 in England and Wales, with its address at 1 Victoria Street, London SW1H 0ET (“BTA”), unless specified otherwise in the Specific Terms.The following conditions apply to this prize:
The Major Prize consists of: one winner will win a trip for two on Contiki’s Contiki Sounds Reading Festival – 7 day trip, commencing 6.45am 21st August 2018 in London and return economy airfares*. Seasonal variances, forms of transport, accommodation, and other inclusions such as meals, sightseeing tours and other attractions may be substituted by Contiki. 1 person will win the prize, to win you must be 18-35 years of age (winner’s guest must also be 18-35 years of age). Changes to the itinerary can be made at any time. *Return economy Airfares, to be booked by Contiki, from an Australian capital city to the start destination, and departing back to an Australian capital city are included. It is the winner’s responsibility to ensure correct spelling of names on tickets. It is the winner’s responsibility to arrange their transport to meet with the tour. Prize is non-transferable and not redeemable for cash, and cannot be exchanged for another trip. Any unused portions of the prize will be forfeited. obtain any inoculation and comply with any health regulations required by any holiday prize destination country; and
comply with the terms and limitations of airlines, other transport providers, and the venues involved in the provision of any holiday prize, including any insurance policy relating to the holiday. In particular, entrants must comply with all health and safety guidelines and instructions and all applicable legal and regulatory requirements.

Where the prize for any of our Competitions involve the winner's attendance at (or tickets to) an event, the prize winner acknowledges that we are not liable or responsible if any part of the event is cancelled, varied or rescheduled for any reason. Who Can Enter
Entry is only open to residents of Australia who are eighteen to thirty five years old (18 -35 years old). Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter, VisitBritain, partners, participating retailers and agencies associated with this Competition are ineligible to enter.
The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the entry process. Entrants must enter Competitions using their legal name only. We reserve the right to disqualify any entrant who uses multiple names and to require them to return any prize they may have won.
We reserve the right to request proof of a prize winner's identity in the form of a passport or driver’s licence and proof of address in the form of a utility bill. In the event that a prize winner cannot provide us with proof of identity and/or address that is reasonably acceptable to us, we may withdraw the prize and select another prize winner.
Errors and omissions will be accepted at the Promoter’s discretion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights. Incomplete or indecipherable entries will be deemed invalid. Multiple entries are accepted as long as the entrant has met all the entry criteria on each submission.
Inappropriate Behaviour. We reserve the right to disqualify an entrant, or to refuse or withdraw a Prize, if an entrant or a winner threatens or abuses one of our employees, or otherwise conducts themselves in a manner that we reasonably regard as inappropriate, offensive or unlawful.
The Entrant acknowledges and agrees that his or her Entry will not be obscene, defamatory, libelous, threatening, harassing, hateful, racially or ethnically offensive, or encouraging of conduct that would be considered a criminal offence, gives rise to civil liability, or violate any law. The Entrant confirms and warrants that they have full power and authority to enter into this agreement and hereby indemnifies the Promoter from and against any and all costs and damages incurred as a result of any breach of these Terms and Conditions. Contiki Holidays (‘Promoter’) takes all care but no responsibility to ensure that all entries are received and processed. The promoter will be in no way responsible for any entry not being processed due to technical fault, omission or any oversight. All entry processing, finalist shortlisting, vote quantification and judging co-ordination will be decided by a, Contiki Holidays (Australia) panel.
Decisions Final
All our decisions relating to the Competition and/or redemption of the prizes are final. No discussions or correspondence with entrants or any other person will be entered into.
Tiebreakers, disputes, conflicts, questions or concerns will be managed by us (Contiki Holidays and VisitBritain).
Release for Promotional Activities
The information provided by an entrant to the promotion may be used by the Promoter in accordance with the following: By entering this competition, each entrant grants to the Promoter a royalty-free, non-exclusive, non-transferable, absolute and irrevocable license, right and permission to use, re-use, publish, re-publish, any written submission entered as part of this Promotion. The Promoter reserves the right to change or amend any of the Terms and Conditions outlined above with adequate and fair notification to all participants involved in the promotion and in no way is held responsible for any consequential actions stemming from these changes. The personal information supplied by entrants when entering competitions will be used in accordance with our privacy policy.
The personal information supplied by entrants when entering Competitions where VisitBritain is a partner, will be used by VisitBritain in accordance with their privacy policy. You should always read their privacy policy in addition to these General Terms and the Specific Terms. All entrants may have their details removed from VisitBritain’s database by contacting VisitBritain or via the unsubscribe messages in emails sent by VisitBritain. If details are removed prior to the conclusion of the Competition and/or award of prize(s), entrants will forfeit their right to claim any prizes.
If you are required to submit a third party’s personal information to enter or participate in a Competition, you must ensure that the person whose details you submit has given their consent for you to provide us with their details.
It is a condition of entry to all our Competitions that we have the right to publish and/or broadcast the first name, home town, character, likeness and voices of Competition entrants and winners.
Entrants, particularly prize winners, may be required to participate in photo, recording, video and/or filming session(s). You agree that we shall have the right to use all the resulting publicity materials in any media and in any manner we see fit, unless you advise us at the time of entering the Competition that you wish to retain your anonymity. By entering our Competitions all entrants:
assign to us all rights (including present and future copyright) in their entry and their publicity materials in all media (including, without limitation, the internet) and whether in existence now or created in the future;
agree not to assert any moral rights in respect of their entry and the publicity materials (wherever and whenever such rights are recognised) against the BTA, its assigns, licensees and successors in title;
undertake to us that their entry is not in breach of any third party intellectual property rights and will not contain anything, which is defamatory, indecent, harassing or threatening and that they will indemnify us for any loss, damage or liability arising should this turn out not to be true. If relevant, we reserve the right, but not the obligation (and without limiting entrants' warranty and indemnity as set out above), to screen, filter and/or monitor information provided by the entrant and to edit, refuse to distribute or remove the same;
Confirm that they have the right, power and authority to grant the rights set out above and that they have obtained all consents and permissions necessary to grant us the same.
For the avoidance of doubt, all rights in the name and title of the Competition and the format rights for the Competition are our sole property and we may exploit the same our absolute discretion.
Nothing in these Terms will limit the Promoter’s liability for death or personal injury caused by its negligence or for fraud.
VisitBritain’s General Terms (and any Specific Terms) shall be construed in accordance with and governed by the laws of England and Wales.
