‘Win a Cruise’ Facebook Promotion

1. Information on how to enter and prizes to be won form part of these Conditions of Entry. Entry into this promotion is deemed as acceptance of those conditions of entry.
2. To enter the competition for the prize, entrants must subscribe to receive the Cruise Express enewsletters and eflashes by completing all mandatory fields on the competition registration page. Entrants will automatically receive an additional extra entry (bonus entry) for every entrant they refer. Their name must be listed as the referrer on the competition registration page. All details provided by the entrant must be complete and accurate at the time of registration for the entry to be deemed valid and eligible to enter the competition. Any entrant found to have provided false or misleading information will be automatically disqualified and their entries (and any prize won) will be automatically voided.
3. This promotion is sponsored by Cruise Express International herein referred to as the Promoter.
4. Entry is open to all Australian residents over 18 years with the exception of employees of the Promoter and their immediate relatives.
5. The promotion commences at 10am (AEST) on 11 June, 2018 and finishes at 11.59pm (AEST) on 24 June, 2018.
6. The prize is a 3 night coastal cruise onboard Radiance of the Seas for 2 people, departing from Sydney on 6 October, 2018. The cruise returns to Sydney on 9th October, 2018. The prize includes accommodation in a balcony stateroom, main meals on board (excluding restaurants with an additional cover charge), entertainment, daily activities and any government/departure taxes.
The prize winner (and travel companion) is responsible for all other expenses and documentation (unless specified) where applicable, including: spending money, additional meals at Specialty restaurants, beverages, shore tours transfers, laundry charges, extra activities, incidentals, gratuities, charges to use facilities, in-room charges, passports, visas, vaccinations, travel insurance and all other ancillary costs. A credit card imprint or cash deposit will be required from the winner and/or travel companion at check-in before boarding the ship. The Supplier makes no representation as to the safety, conditions or other issues that may exist at any destination.
Total cruise prize value is up to AUD $2000 inclusive of GST.
7. If the prize is unavailable for any reason, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize (or part of) to the same or a similar prize of equal or greater value, subject to consumer laws. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for change in prize value between now and the Redemption Date.
8. The winner will be drawn at random using a barrel draw from all the entries received in the competition. The prize draw will occur at Suite 92/24 Buchanan Street, Balmain NSW 2041 at 10am (AEST) on 25 June, 2018. The winner will be notified by phone and email no later than 5pm (AEST) on 25 June, 2018. The name of the winner will be published on the Cruise Express Facebook page on 26 June, 2018. Should the entrant’s contact details change during the competition, it is the entrant’s responsibility to notify Cruise Express. The Promoter’s decision as to the operation of the competition is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
If the prize remains unclaimed for one (1) week, after the prize draw date, an unclaimed prize draw will take place at Suite 92/24 Buchanan Street, Balmain NSW 2041 at 10am (AEST) on 3 July, 2018. The winner will be notified by phone and email no later than 5pm (AEST) on 3 July, 2018.
9. The prize must be taken on the date and in the cabin category advised above. No changes or alterations to the prize are possible. If for any reason the winner does not take part of the prize at the time specified by the Promoter, then it will be considered forfeited and no compensation will be awarded. To redeem the prize, the prize winner must travel and cannot sell, transfer or give away any part of the prize, and cannot redeem it for cash. Prizes cannot be substituted and cannot be combined with other promotional offers. Both the winner and their guest must be over 18 years of age at the commencement of the selected cruise.
10. The prize winner can claim their prize by calling the Promoter on 1300 766 537, asking for Jane and advising her of their win.
11. The prize winner and their travelling companion will require valid government issued photo identification for boarding. Obtaining these documents is the responsibility of the prize winner.
12. The Promoter will not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for any personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with the prize except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
13. It is highly recommended that the winner organises travel insurance in case of cancellation or medical problems that may occur before or during travel.
14. By entering this competition participants understand and accept that they will receive an initial communication from the Promoter by email. Participants may unsubscribe from receiving emails at any time. The Promoter will not share participant email addresses with any third party.
15. If for any reason this promotion is not capable of running as planned because of infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this promotion, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion subject to any written directions under applicable legislation. The Promoter also reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who the Promoter has reason to believe has breached any of these conditions, or engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise the fair and proper conduct of the promotion. The Promoter’s legal rights to recover damages or other compensation from such an offender are reserved.
16. The Promoter is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment, software, technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to participant’s or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from participation in or downloading any materials in this promotion.
17. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed administered by or associated with Facebook. By participating you hereby release and hold Facebook harmless from any and all liability associated with this promotion.
