"Contesting Day" means an individual day during the Contesting Period. "Contesting Segment" means an individual Contesting Segment on a Contesting Day.
Entrants must be 18 years or older.
Entry is only open to residents of ACT, NSW, NT, QLD, SA, TAS, VIC and WA.
Entrants can enter as many times as they like. Once an entrant has been awarded a prize, they must not continue to attempt to enter.
1. To enter, entrants must during the Online Registration Period visit the Website, register their details and answer in twenty five (25) words or less the question specified by the Promoter at the point of entry.
2. On the Contesting Day:
(a) Be selected by the Promoter, who will judge entries in accordance with the Judging Details, to determine
Contestant(s).
(b) Each Contestant will receive a phone call from the Promoter and the Promoter will play the Contestant an except of
a song.
(c) When the music stops playing, the Contestant must correctly sing the next line of the song.
(d) If the Promoter deems that the Contestant correctly delivers the next line of the song, that Contestant will win a Major
Prize.
(e) If the Contestant fails to successfully deliver the next line of the song on the first attempt, the Promoter will give them
another chance to deliver the correct line, up to a maximum of 3 attempts per Contestant. The number of attempts
granted may vary between Contestants, at the Promoter's absolute discretion.
(f) If a Contestant fails to answer their phone when called by the Promoter, or the call is diverted to voicemail, the
Promoter may select another Contestant in their place.
At the end of each Contesting Day, if no prize has been won, the Major Prize will jackpot for the following Contesting Day. Note: Contesting may be pre-recorded for broadcast on the following day.
All judging decisions are at the discretion of the Promoter and no correspondence will be entered into in this regard.
Judging criteria: All entries will be judge on creativity, literary merit, originality, suitability, or as otherwise specified. Where entrants submit a guess or answer to question(s) the Promoter will judge the accuracy of an answer and there may be a time factor applied.
