TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1.nformation on how to enter and the prize form part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
2.This promotion (“Promotion”) is being conducted by NBCUniversal International Networks Australia Pty Ltd (ABN 76 103 226 026) of Level 32, 580 George Street, Sydney NSW 2000, telephone (02) 8274 1607 (“Promoter”).
3.The Promotion is a game of chance, skill plays no part in determining the winner.
4.Entry is only open to Australian residents aged 18 years or over.
5.Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter and agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or 1st cousin.
6.Entries into the Promotion open at 9:00am AEST on 16/05/2018 and close at 11:59pm AEDST on 05/10/2018 (“Promotional Period”).
7.All times and dates are times and dates in Sydney, which will be AEST or AEDST (as the case requires). All times are stated using the 24 hour clock. 00:00hrs is the start of a day and 24:00hrs is the end of a day.
8.To enter, eligible individuals (“Entrants”) must, during the Promotional Period, undertake either one (1) of the following entry options during the Promotional Period:

•Agree to the Terms and Conditions; and
•Submit the fully completed online entry form.
Entrants can visit the website directly or, if they receive a promotional email from the Promoter, click on a link within the promotional email.

Entry Option 2: Purchase Entry

•When making the transaction check the box opting in to this promotion and agreeing to the Terms and Conditions; and
•Submit the fully completed ticket transaction form.
9.The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and Entrants (including an Entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any Entrant who the Promoter has reason to believe has breached any of Terms and Conditions, tampered with the entry process or engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise fair and proper conduct of the promotion and/or disqualify any entries that, in the opinion of the Promotor, includes objectionable content, profanity, potentially insulting, inflammatory or defamatory statements. Errors and omissions will be accepted at the Promoter's discretion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights. The Promoter's legal rights to recover damages or other compensation from such an offender are reserved.
10.Incomplete, indecipherable, or illegible entries will be deemed invalid.
11.Only one (1) entry is permitted per person per Entry Option above.
12.If there is a dispute as to the identity of an Entrant, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to determine the identity of the Entrant.
13.The draw will take place on Thursday 11th October 2018 at Anisimoff Legal, Suite 5, Erina Plaza 210 Central Coast Highway, Erina NSW 2250 at 11:00am AEDST. The Promoter may draw additional reserve entries and record them in order in case an invalid entry or ineligible entrant is drawn. The winner (“Winner”) will be notified in writing within two (2) business days of the draw. The Winner’s name will be published online at
www.syfy.com.au from Monday 15th of October 2018.
14.The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
15.The first valid entry drawn will win a trip for two (2) people to New York, USA for the 2019 Comic-Con held in New York between Thursday 3rd of October 2019 and Sunday 6th of October 2019 valued at up to AU$9,000 depending on point of departure. Prize includes:
•Two (2) x return economy airfares from Winner's nearest capital city to New York;
•Five (5) nights twin share minimum 4star accommodation in New York;
•Return airport to hotel transfers; and
•Two (2) tickets to the 2019 Comic-Con held in New York between Thursday 3rd of October 2019 and Sunday 6th of October 2019.

Prize conditions: The Prize must be taken to coincide with the 2019 Comic-Con in New York and is subject to booking and availability. Prize must be booked within two (2) months of winner notification. Unless expressly stated all other costs and expenses associated with taking the Prize become the responsibility of the Winner, and their travel companion including, but not limited to: (a) costs associated with Visa applications; (b) costs associated with Passport applications; (c) additional taxes; (d) costs associated with inoculations; (e) additional transfers; (f) insurance; (g) additional spending money; (h) meals (not specified); (i) domestic airfares if required; (j) any extra sightseeing or activities; (k) any additional accommodation; and (l) all other incidental and ancillary costs, incurred by the Winner, and/or their travel companion, as a direct or indirect result of taking the Prize that are not otherwise stated as included in the Prize. The Prize Winner, and their travel companion must have a valid passport that is valid for the period during which they intend to take the Prize and up to six (6 months after their intended return to Australia. The Prize must be taken as stated and no compensation will be payable if the Winner is unable to use the Prize as stated. The Prize is not transferable to another person (unless agreed by the Promoter) or exchangeable for other goods and services and cannot be redeemed as cash. The itinerary is to be determined by the Promoter and TravelEdge Pty Ltd ABN 70 092 658 421 in agreement with the Winner but in the event that agreement cannot be reached, the Promoter and TravelEdge Pty Ltd reserve the right to determine the itinerary. A credit card imprint or cash deposit is required from the Winner, and/or travel companion, at check-in to hotels for all incidental charges. It is the Winner’s, and their travel companion’s personal responsibility to ensure that they have valid documentation, including but not limited to valid passports, visas, and health requirements, which meet the requirements of immigration and other government authorities at every destination. Any fines, penalties, payments or expenditures incurred as a result of such documents not meeting the requirements of those authorities will be the sole responsibility of the Winner, and their travel companion. The Winner and their travel companion must depart from and return to the same departure point and travel together. Frequent flyer points will not form part of the Prize. Flight schedules and accommodation arrangements are subject to change without notice. The Promoter makes no representation as to the safety conditions or any other conditions that may exist at any destination. International travel advice can be obtained from various sources, including government, local consular offices, and the website of the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade. During the entire duration of the prize, a nominated parent/guardian must accompany any person under 18 years of age. As a condition of accepting the Prize, the Winner (and his/her travel companion) must sign any legal documentation as and in the form required by the Promoter and/or prize suppliers in their absolute discretion, including but not limited to a legal release and indemnity form. In the event a Winner’s companion is under the age of 18, a nominated parent/legal guardian of such person will be required to sign the legal documentation required under this clause on their behalf. The Winner and his/her travel companion must depart from and return to the same departure point and travel together.
