Terms & Conditions
1. The competition will open 9:00AM Thursday 26 July 2018 and closes 11.59pm Thursday 9 August 2018
2. The competition is open to Australian permanent residents only
3. Entrants must be aged 18 and over
4. Only one winning entry will be chosen
5. The prize is for a family of four which includes two adults (ages 18 and over) and two children (ages between five and 17). Children must be a minimum of five years old to attend Roar & Snore
6. For a chance to win, entrants must answer the competition statement ‘Tell us in 25 words or less what your favourite DJUNGELSKOG animal is and why’ via the IKEA Australia Facebook page competition app
7. This is a game of skill. Chance plays no part in determining the winner. The winning post will be chosen based on the creativity/quality of the submission, and correct entry process (as above)
8. The winner will be notified by phone on Thursday 16 August 2018
9. After three failed attempts to make phone contact on Thursday 16 July 2018, the winner will be deemed to have failed to accept the prize
10. If the winner fails to accept the prize or is unable to meet the conditions of entry, another winner will be selected at the discretion of the IKEA team
11. The name of the winning entrant will be announced via the competition post on the IKEA Australia Facebook page
12. The prize is valid for six months, and must be taken before 26 January 2019
13. Dates for the prize experience will be subject to Roar and Snore availability
14. By entering the competition, the entrant agrees to Taronga Zoo’s Roar and Snore terms and conditions. More information can be found here
15. Flights, accommodation, transfers and Roar and Snore accommodation will be booked directly with a member of the IKEA team
16. The winner will receive:
- Return economy flights from the closest capital city to Sydney (if applicable)
- One night pre-event hotel accommodation (if applicable)
- One night’s accommodation at Taronga Zoo’s Roar & Snore incl. all meals, entertainment and experiences as per Roar & Snore conditions
- An IKEA gift pack valued at $1000
- A $200 VISA gift card valued at $200 to put towards expenses including meals and transfers
17. All meals and drinks at Roar and Snore are supplied by Taronga Zoo, strictly no BYO. If you have any special dietary requirements, special needs or peculiar requests, entrants should make this known to IKEA at the time of claiming the prize
18. Prize is not transferable/exchangeable or redeemable for cash
19. Employees, family and friends of employees of Taronga Zoo, the promoter and its agencies associated with the competition, are ineligible to enter
20. By entering the competition, the entrant agrees that IKEA Pty Ltd can use their name, photographs, video footage and story for publicity and promotional purposes, without compensation, and that IKEA Pty Ltd will own copyright in any such photographs and in all material incorporating the photograph
21. IKEA Pty Ltd reserves the right to verify the validity of claims and to disqualify any claimant who tampers with the claim process or who submits a claim that is not in accordance with these terms and conditions. All claims will be subject to the IKEA Pty Ltd validation and verification checks
22. IKEA Pty Ltd reserves the right to withdraw or amend the competition as necessary due to circumstances outside its control
23. The judge’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into

2. The Promoter reserves the right to withdraw the promotion at any time during the offer period.
3. All claims will be subject to the Promoter’s validation and verification checks. Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for personal injury which is suffered or sustained, as a result of participating in this offer, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
