Wests Rewards Cruise & Car 2018 Promotion Terms & Conditions
Get your passports in order because you could be jumping on board an 8 night Taste of
Caledonia Cruise and/or cruising around town in brand new 2018 Holden Spark LS.
Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these terms and conditions. By
participating, entrants are deemed to have accepted the following terms and conditions.
Entries must comply with these terms and conditions to be valid.
1. Who can enter? Entry is open to current financial Wests members and guests who
are 18 years of age or older. The Promoter’s directors, management, employees,
contractors, and their immediate families together with agencies and suppliers
associated with this Promotion are eligible to enter.
2. Promotion Period: This promotion commences 10:00am on Tuesday May 1st 2018
and closes at 11:59pm on Thursday 2nd August 2018.
3. How do you receive an entry ticket? An entry ticket (1) can be purchased at any
Wests club point of sale (till) for $2.50 each (250 Wests Rewards Points).
4. How do you enter the Minor Prize Draw - 8 Nights Taste of New Caledonia
Cruise? A raffle ticket will be printed at the point of sale. Complete your entry ticket/s
and place them in the barrel provided at any Wests Club to go into the draw to win 1
of 2 x 8 Nights Taste of New Caledonia Cruise for 2 adults in an interior twin share
cabin valued at $2,300 each departing on the 2nd October 2018.
How do you enter the Major Prize Draw - Holden Spark? The Major Prize Draw
will follow the Minor Prize Draw with all tickets included in the barrel located at Wests
New Lambton.
5. How many times can you enter? Multiple entries are permitted during the
promotional period.
6. The Minor and Major draws:
a) The minor draws to win an 8 Night Taste of New Caledonia Cruise for 2 adults in
an interior twin share cabin will take place at Wests New Lambton at 88 Hobart
Road New Lambton NSW 2305 at 6:30pm on Monday 6th August 2018. There
will be two (2) or more representatives of Wests present at the draw. Members do
not have to be present for the Minor draws.
b) The major draw to win the 2018 Holden Spark LS will take place at 6:30pm on
Monday 6th August 2018. This draw will take place at Wests New Lambton at 88
Hobart Road New Lambton NSW 2305. Members do not have to be present for
the major draw.

a) Minor Draw Prize Details: The following prize is available to be won at the end
of the Promotional Period; 8 nights onboard Pacific Eden on a Taste of New
Caledonia Cruise for 2 adults in an interior twin share cabin, departing 2 October
2018. RRP of $2,300 (2 cruises to be won in total = Total of $4,600).
b) Major Draw Prize Details: The following prize is available to be won following
the Minor Draw Prize at the end of the Promotion Period; one (1) Drive away in a
2018 Holden Spark LS 4-door automatic 1.4L in summit white. Prize includes
dealer delivery, stamp duty, 12 months’ private registration, 12 months’ CTP
insurance and black and white premium plates. RRP $17,990.
8. Total prize value: The maximum total prize value of the 2 x 8 Nights Taste of New
Caledonia Cruise for 2 adults in an interior twin share cabin (Total RRP $4,600) and a
2018 Holden Spark LS (RRP $17,990) is RRP $22,590.

9. Notification: Winners will be notified by phone. Winners’ names will be published
(first name plus member number if applicable) on our website
www.westsnewcastle.com.au, and available from the Wests New Lambton Helpdesk.
Winners’ names will also be published in a newspaper within 7 days of the draw.
10. Winner: The winner must provide evidence which, to the reasonable satisfaction of
the Promoter, demonstrates that they are the winner and are eligible to enter and has
complied with these terms and conditions. Winner must show suitable ID (driver’s
licence or other) to collect prize.
11. Disqualification: The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of any entry
and to disqualify any entrant who forged, manipulated or tampered with the entry
process, who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these terms and
conditions or who does not provide all information requested on the entry form, where
applicable.
12. Claiming Prizes: All prizes must be claimed and collected in person by the winner at
their own cost.
13. Prizes: Prizes are not transferrable or exchangeable. The prize must be taken as
stated and cannot be varied. No compensation will be payable if the winner is unable
to claim their prize.
14. Redraw: The Promoter reserves the right to redraw a prize in the event of an entrant
being unable to satisfy these terms and conditions or not claiming a prize within 10
business days from the initial draw.
15. Entries: No responsibility is accepted by the Promoter for late, lost, incomplete,
incorrectly entered or misdirected entries.
16. Variation / cancellation: Subject to state legislative requirements, the Promoter
reserves the right to reasonable amend or vary these terms and conditions or cancel
or suspend this promotion at its sole discretion at anytime throughout this Promotion.
17. Liability and release: The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage
whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential
loss) or for any personal injury, loss or damage suffered or sustained (even caused
by negligence) in connection with accepting or using a prize or participating in this
Promotion, except for any loss liability which cannot be excluded by law. The
Promoter is not responsible for lost or stolen prizes or misuse of any prize. All
entrants release from, and indemnify the Promoter against, all liability, cost, loss or
expense arising out of acceptance of any prize(s) or participation in this Promotion
including (but not limited to) personal injury and damage to property and whether
direct or consequential, foreseeable, due to some negligent act or omission or
otherwise.
18. Prize winners will be required to agree to and sign to Cruise Travel Centre booking
conditions when booking itinerary otherwise prize will be forfeited.
19. The winner is required to obtain the relevant and suitable travel insurance at their
own expense in order to be able to take the competition prize. It is the traveller's
personal responsibility to ensure that they have valid documentation, including but not
limited to, valid passports, visas, and health requirements, which meet the
requirements of immigration and other government authorities at every destination.
20. Any fines, penalties, payments or expenditures incurred as a result of such
documents not meeting the requirements of those authorities will be the sole
responsibility of the traveller/s.
21. Once prize has been confirmed by Cruise Travel Centre, the prize is deemed nontransferrable.
On acceptance of the competition prize, the winner acknowledges that
they have read and agreed to Cruise Travel Centre’s booking conditions.

22. Any additional spending money, meals, insurance, taxes, extra accommodation,
items of a personal nature, inoculations, valid passports, required visas, travel to and
from departure point (Sydney), additions to stipulated itineraries and all other ancillary
costs are the responsibility of the winner (and their companion). Unless expressly
stated, all other expenses become the responsibility of the winner.
23. The promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered
(including, but not limited to, indirect or consequential loss) or for personal injury
which is suffered or sustained, in connection with the prize, except for any liability
which cannot be excluded by laws.
24. The prize is subject to availability as determined by Cruise Travel Centre.
25. Independent financial advice should be sought as tax implications may arise as a
result of accepting the prize.
26. In the event that for any reason whatsoever a winner does not accept the prize at the
time stipulated by Cruise Travel Centre then the prize will be forfeited by the winner
and cash will not be awarded in lieu of the prize.
27. Use of any information provided: By entering this promotion, each entrant consents to
any information or drawings or items they submit with their entry (other than personal
details), being entered into a database and the Promoter may use or reproduce the
information, drawing or item in a publication, printed matter, online or in other media
without any further reference or payment or other compensation to the entrant.
28. Privacy: All entries become the property of the Promoter. Please refer to Wests

29. Photograph of winner: The name and photograph of the winner(s) may be used for
promotional purposes by the Promoter, unless the winner notifies the Promoter at the
time of accepting the prize that he or she does not consent to such use. Winner will
be photographed with the travel agent and relevant suppliers which will become the
property of the said agents and suppliers for promotional purposes.
30. A portion of proceeds from this promotion will be donated to the Wests Foundation.
