RHEEM GOLD COAST 600 SUPERCARS PROMOTION
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. Information on how to enter and the prizes form part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in this promotion (“Promotion”) is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
2. Entry is only open to Australian residents aged 18 years or over, who are registered plumbers, hold a “Rheem Rewards” account and a current valid plumber’s licence issued in an Australian State or Territory (“Eligible Entrant”). Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter, the Promoter’s associated companies and agencies associated with this Promotion are ineligible to enter.
3. The Promotion commences at 7.00am AEST on 14/05/2018. All purchases must be made by 7.00pm AEST on 11/08/2018 (“Purchase Period”) and final entries must be received by 7.00pm AEST on 12/08/2018 (“Promotional Period”). Any entry outside the Promotion Period is invalid.
4. To be eligible to enter, Eligible Entrants must
(a) during the Purchase Period, purchase, from a participating Samios Plumbing store (a full list of stores is set out below), any “Rheem”, “Vulcan” or “AquaMAX” branded water heater (“Eligible Product”); and
(b) during the Promotion Period, visit
www.rheem.com.au/goldcoast600 (“Promotional Website”) and follow the prompts to the Promotion entry page, log into their Rheem Rewards account or input the requested details in order to set up an account (“Account”), input the Eligible Product(s) purchased, accept these Terms and Conditions of Entry and submit the fully completed online entry form.
5. Once an Eligible Entrant has validly recorded 1 Eligible Product onto their Account during the Promotional Period, the Eligible Entrant will receive 1 entry into the relevant minor draw. Once an Eligible Entrant has validly recorded 5 Eligible Products onto their Account during the Promotional Period, the Eligible Entrant will receive 1 entry into the major draw. Multiple entries are permitted, subject to the following: (a) each Eligible Product must be recorded separately and in accordance with Account requirements (as outlined above); and (b) there is a limit of only 1 entry per Eligible Entrant per Eligible Product purchased.
6. It is the responsibility of the Eligible Entrant to sign into their Account during the Promotional Period to record each Eligible Product purchased in order to accrue the relevant entries.
7. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and Eligible Entrants (including an Eligible Entrant’s identity, age, and place of residence) and to disqualify any person who is not an Eligible Entrant or any Eligible Entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the entry process. The Promoter may request to see a copy of an Eligible Entrant’s valid and current plumber’s licence in order to validate their occupation.
8. Entries are deemed to be received at the time of receipt into the Promoter’s system. The Promoter is not responsible for any late, incorrect, incomplete, illegible or indecipherable entries whether caused by the entrant or occurring during transmission.
9. Eligible Entrants must retain their original or photocopies of Eligible Product tax invoice(s) for all entries as proof of purchase for a period of 4 months after the end of the Promotional Period. The Promoter may require Eligible Entrants to provide the original or photocopies of Eligible Product tax invoice(s) for verification purposes in order to claim a prize. Eligible Product tax invoice(s) must clearly specify that the Eligible Product(s) were purchased during the Purchase Period. Failure to provide the proof of purchase as set out for required entries when requested may, in the absolute discretion of the Promoter, result in invalidation of that Eligible Entrant’s entries.
10. Winners of a major prize will be notified in writing within 24 hours and will appear in the Australian Newspaper of 22 August 2018.
11. There will be 11 minor draws and 1 major draw for this Promotion. The minor prize draws will take place at 12 Noon AEST on the dates specified in the table below. The major draw will take place at noon AEST on 15/08/2018. All prize draws will be conducted at RBE Promotions & Activations Pty Ltd, 33 Oxford St Nundah, Queensland. All entries received prior to a minor draw close date will be entered into that minor draw. Winning entries in each minor draw will NOT be entered into any subsequent minor draws. The winners of a minor prize will be notified by telephone and in writing within 2 business days of winning and all winner’ names and postcodes will appear on the Promotional Website by 5.00pm AEST on 22/08/2018. The Promoter may draw additional reserve entries and record them in order in case an invalid entry or ineligible Eligible Entrant is drawn. The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

MINOR PRIZES
12. 33 minor prizes will be awarded in the Promotion. Minor prize details are 3 x $50 “Fuel Gift Cards” each week for 11 weeks commencing 03/06/2018.
13. Any ancillary costs associated with redeeming a minor prize are not included. Any unused balance of Fuel Gift Cards will not be awarded as cash. 14. Major prize: There are 2 major prizes to be won. The first 2 valid entries drawn will each win a ticket for 1 adult to the 2018 “Gold Coast 600” Supercars Championship event scheduled for 21/10/18 at Surfers Paradise, Gold Coast Queensland valued up to $3,676.00 including GST depending on point of departure. Each Major Prize includes: 2 nights’ minimum 5 star hotel accommodation, corporate hospitality tickets to the Gold Coast 600 on Sunday 21st October 2018, transfers and meals. Additional spending money, taxes (excluding airline and airport taxes), insurance, transport to and from departure point, additional transfers, items of a personal nature, in-room charges and all other ancillary costs are not included.
15. If the winner is not from the “Greater Brisbane Region” including Brisbane, Ipswich, Toowoomba, Gold Coast and/or Sunshine Coast, the major prize also includes 1 x return economy airfare to Gold Coast Australia from the winner’s nearest Australian capital city (carrier selected by the Promoter). If the winner is from the Greater Brisbane Region, then the prize does not include airfares and the airfare component of the prize is not redeemable for cash.
16. The winner’s location will be determined by the location of the winner’s registered business.
17. Major Prize must be taken to coincide with the 2018 Gold Coast 600. Prize is subject to booking and flight availability.
18. A maximum of 1 Major Prize will be awarded per winning Eligible Entrant.
19. The winners must be eligible to travel to the Gold Coast, Australia in order to take the Major Prize. Winner must travel on the dates specified and the flight itinerary will be at the sole discretion of the Promoter. The Promoter takes no responsibility for the winner failing to take any part of the prize and no compensation will be given. Frequent flyer points will not form part of the Major Prize. The Major Prize is subject to the standard terms and conditions of individual prize and service providers. The winners will be required to present their credit card at time of accommodation check in.
20. The activities included in the Major Prize are subject to the event venue and ticket terms and conditions, including any applicable age restriction. Without limiting any of the event venue and ticket terms and conditions, the Promoter and Gold Coast 600 organisers expressly reserve the right to eject any winner for any inappropriate behaviour, including but not limited to intoxication, whilst participating in any element of the prize.

GENERAL
21. If any prize/s (or part of any prize/s) is unavailable, the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the prize/s (or that part of the prize) with a prize to the equal value and/or specification, subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority.
22. Total prize pool value is up to $9002.00 including GST depending on a major prize winner’s flight departure point. Prizes, or any unused portion of a prize, are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash, unless otherwise specified.
23. As the major prize is an event, any winner of a major prize has 5 business days to claim their prize. Unclaimed major prizes (if any) will be forfeited and a new prize winner will be drawn on 22 August 2018 and advised by telephone within 24 hours and announced in the Australian newspaper on 29 August 2018.
24. A draw for any unclaimed minor prizes may take place at noon AEST on 15/11/2018 at the same time and place as the original draws, subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority. Winners, if any, will be notified by telephone and in writing within 2 business days of the draw.
25. Eligible Entrants consent to the Promoter using their name, likeness, image, and/or voice (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this Promotion (including any outcome), and promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter.
26. If this Promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, including but not limited to technical difficulties, unauthorised intervention or fraud, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law: (a) to disqualify any Eligible Entrant; or (b) subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority, to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the Promotion, as appropriate.
27. Any cost associated with accessing the Promotional Website is the Eligible Entrants’ responsibility and is dependent on the Internet service provider used.
28. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits, excludes or modifies or purports to limit, exclude or modify the statutory consumer guarantees as provided under the Competition and Consumer Act, as well as any other implied warranties under the ASIC Act or similar consumer protection laws in the State and Territories of Australia (“Non-Excludable Guarantees”). Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, including the Non-Excludable Guarantees, the Promoter (including its respective officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the Promotion.
29. Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, including the Non-Excludable Guarantees, the Promoter (including its respective officers, employees and agents) is not responsible for and excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter’s control); (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (c) any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (d) any variation in prize value to that stated in these Terms and Conditions; (e) if the Gold Coast 600 is cancelled or delayed for any reason; (f) any tax liability incurred by an Eligible Entrant; or (g) taking of a prize/use of a prize.
30. As a condition of accepting a prize, the winners must sign any legal documentation as and in the form required by the Promoter and/or prize suppliers in their absolute discretion, including but not limited to a legal release and indemnity form.
31. The Promoter collects personal information in order to conduct the promotion and may, for this purpose, disclose such information to third parties, including but not limited to agents, contractors, service providers, prize suppliers and, as required, to Australian regulatory authorities. Entry is conditional on providing this information. The Promoter may, for an indefinite period, unless otherwise advised, use the information for promotional, marketing, publicity, research and profiling purposes, including sending electronic messages or telephoning the Eligible Entrant.
