For Divergent fans there will be a one-off cosplay-themed event with the book’s New York Times bestselling author, Veronica Roth. If you’ve always been curious about where the characters of Trainspotting would be today, Irvine Welsh will be there to share what Mark and Sick Boy are up to now and talk about his new book Dead Men’s Trousers.
As well as offering plenty for the avid reader, there will loads for aspiring writers to sink their teeth into, including a talk with Eggshell Skull author Bri Lee and editor Kate Goldsworthy, and immersive workshop sessions such as writing for young people, journaling for better writing and crafting contemporary fiction.
