Entry is only open to Australian residents aged 14 years or over. Entrants under 18 years of age require parental consent to redeem the prize.
Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter, participating HOYTS Cinemas and agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or 1st cousin.
Promotion commences on 31/07/2018 and final entries close at 23:59 AEDT on 02/09/2018 (“Promotional Period”), with final entries closing on 03/09/2018 at 23:59 AEDT.
To be eligible to enter, entrants must, during the Promotional Period, purchase a HOYTS Gift Card or HOYTS e-Gift Card either in-cinema or via store.hoyts.com.au and fully completing the entry form at
https://www.hoyts.com.au/hoyts-pages/fathersday-competition which will include full name, email address, contact number, purchased HOYTS Gift Card number and an answer to the competition question: “In 25 words or less, tell us what your dream man cave looks like.”
Only one (1) entry per person is per permitted per HOYTS Gift Card purchased.
The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who the Promoter has reason to believe has breached any of these Terms and Conditions, tampered with the entry process or engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardize fair and proper conduct of the promotion. Errors and omissions may be accepted at the Promoter's discretion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights. The Promoter's legal rights to recover damages or other compensation from such an offender are reserved.
Incomplete or indecipherable entries will be deemed invalid.
If there is a dispute as to the identity of an entrant, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to determine the identity of the entrant.
Entrants must retain purchase receipt(s) for all entries as proof of purchase. Failure to produce the proof of purchase for all entries when requested may, in the absolute discretion of the Promoter, result in invalidation of ALL of an entrant’s entries and forfeiture of any right to a prize.
The draw will take place at The HOYTS Corporation, Level 50, 680 George Street, Sydney, NSW 2000 on 04/09/2018 at 12:00 AEDT. The Promoter may draw additional reserve entries and record them in order in case an invalid entry or ineligible entrant is drawn. The winner will be notified in writing within two (2) business days of the draw. Winner name will be announced online at
https://www.hoyts.com.au/pages/competitions from 05/09/2018. In the event of an SA winner of a prize valued at over $250 their name will be published in The Advertiser.
The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
Entries are based on a game of skill, with the Promoter in its sole discretion selecting the entry that deems as the winner. The competition includes one (1) major prize of a Camatic cinema recliner valued at $1100, including delivery to a physical residential address within Australia.
Any ancillary costs associated with redeeming the HOYTS cinema recliner are not included.
