How to Enter
To enter the $40k Giveaway campaign at Pialba Place customers simply:
1. Receive an entry form when you make a purchase from any Pialba Place specialty stores.
2. Fill in the entry form and place in the barrel located within the Centre. On the last weekday of
each month 30 entries will be drawn from the barrel and each will win a $100 PP Gift Card which
can be used at any store in the centre.
Duration of Competition
The competition opens at 9am, Monday 9th July and closes at 5pm Friday 28 June 2019. Winners will
be drawn at 5pm on the last week day of every month and the barrel will be emptied at this time.
Conditions of Entry
1. Information on ‘how to enter’ forms part of these ‘Conditions of Entry’.
2. To be valid, each entry must be on a fully completed $40K Giveaway entry form.
3. Entry is only open to Australian residents.
4. Only one entry available per receipt purchased. Receipts from partial lay-bys, bill payments such
as the payment of credit card bills, bank transactions, bank fees and charges and service bills
[such as gas, electricity, rates and phone bills] cannot be presented as receipts to enter.
5. All entries will be removed from the barrel before the next month’s entries open.
6. No responsibility is accepted for late, lost or misdirected entries. Pialba Place takes no
responsibility for entries that cannot be delivered or entered for any technical or other reason
whatsoever. Proof of delivery of the entry is not proof of receipt by Pialba Place.
7. Entries will not be accepted via post.
8. Entries illegible, reasonably determined as a forgery mutilated, copied or tampered with in any
way will not be considered or form part of the entry.
9. Employees and the immediate families of the Promoter, participating outlets and the agencies
associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter. Immediate families mean parents, siblings,
spouse, children and grandparents.
10. Management and staff of stores at Pialba Place are not permitted to enter.
11. The prize-winners must provide suitable identification to the promoters’ satisfaction to be
entitled to claim the prize.
12. If a prize-winner is under the age of 18 years, the prize will be awarded to the winner’s
nominated parent or guardian.
13. The Promoter reserves the right in its absolute discretion to verify the validity of entries and to
disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process or who submits an entry that is not in
accordance with the Conditions of Entry.
14. The prize values are correct at the authorisation date of the competition. The Promoter is not
responsible for any subsequent variation in values.
15. The prizes are not redeemable for cash and not transferable and must be taken as offered.

1. The prize winners will be determined via a random barrel draw.
2. The decision is final. No further correspondence will be entered into.
3. The winner will be contacted by phone (if a phone number is provided) and/or in writing (if an
email address or postal address is provided) after the draw has taken place.
4. The winner need not be present at the draw.
5. If despite every reasonable effort the winner of a prize cannot be contacted a redraw will be
conducted at the Pialba Place Centre Management Office after 14 days have passed.
6. The winner’s name will be published on the Pialba Place website by 5pm on the Monday
following each monthly draw.
7. The winners have 2 weeks to collect their prize from the Centre Management Office at Shop 77,
40 Main St, Pialba. After this time the prizes will be redrawn.
Customers Information
1. By entering this promotion, you give the Promoter consent to add your details to the Pialba
Place database, and use your personal information for further purposes and promotions unless
you otherwise notify us in writing.
2. The Promoter agrees to keep confidential all personal details obtained by the Promoter during
the Promotional Period and agrees that such information will be used for the purposes of the
promotion only.
3. If the customer chooses to accept the prize, the Promoter, reserves the right to use the
customers name and photograph for marketing and publicity purposes.
4. All personal information supplied by entrants will be used by Pialba Place for the purpose of this
Promotion and may be used by Pialba Place for future promotional and marketing purposes in
accordance with the requirements of the Privacy Act 1998 and the SPAM act 2003. By entering
this promotion, you consent to the future use of your personal information for these purposes.

1. The Promoter and any companies associated with the Promoter or this competition, accept no
responsibility for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered including but not limited to
indirect or consequential loss, or for any personal injury suffered or sustained as a consequence
of the use and enjoyment of any item gained via the prize except for any liability which cannot
be excluded by law.
2. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any tax implications that may arise from the prize
winnings or the use thereof. It is the responsibility of each entrant to seek independent advice
on the possible implications this may have on their own financial situation.
3. Unless due to fraud or ineligibility under these Terms and Conditions, all valid prize claims in
excess of the advertised prize pool value will be honoured.
4. If for any reason this competition is not capable of running as planned including infection by
computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any
other causes beyond the control of the Promoter, which corrupts or affects the administration
security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this promotion, then it will be suspended
subject to the approval gaming authorities in the State of Queensland where required.
5. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry
process, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion subject to the approval of
the gaming authorities where required.
6. If all or any part of any term or condition contained in these Terms and Conditions shall be
declared or become unenforceable, invalid or illegal for any reason, such term or provision [or
part thereof] shall be deemed severed from these Conditions of Entry and the other terms and
conditions hereof shall remain in full force.
7. The Promoter reserves the right to cancel the Promotion and not award the prize(s) where
circumstances beyond the Promoter’s control prevent the Promoter from providing the prize(s).
Should the Promoter cancel the Promotion the Promoter will:

Management Office and on the Pialba Place website;
b. Promptly destroy all entries received; and

declared or become unenforceable, invalid or illegal for any reason, such term or provision [or
part thereof] shall be deemed severed from these Conditions of Entry and the other terms and
conditions hereof shall remain in full force.
